So it's simple, say you are the talent relations guy at TNA or WWE and you have to hire five guys that are not under binding contracts with another company who do you go for?
I am going to do both companies.
TNA
1. Davey Richards from ROH, DG-USA etc...
TNA needs to build up their X-Division with a star as talented as AJ Styles was in the beginning, I think lacking that right now Davey would be the perfect choice.
2. Rob Van Dam
I do consider TNA's main event scene to be better than the WWE's slightly, however the repitition of main events is a problem there too. Granted any combination of Daniels, Joe, Styles, Angle, and Sting is going to be a good match... it's been going on for a few years. RVD would be great against any of the guys I mentioned above, as well as several others.
3. Mark Briscoe
4. Jay Briscoe
The Briscoes are an awesome tag team with a bit of mainstream appeal. They can work with virtually any styles so they are perfect for TNA's random Tag Division. As well as the X-Division.
5. Mr. Ken Anderson
I am not a huge fan of Anderson, however I think he has a big fan base and is very recognizable. And up there with Jeff Hardy when it comes to possibly getting people to switch from Raw to Impact! if they run on Mondays. Also I think he would be interesting with Nash, Sting, Styles, Wolfe, and Angle.
WWE
WWE has already signed Lo Ki and Danielson which are awesome and unexpected moves but lets see who else would be interesting.
1. JBL
I think WWE needs to sign JBL back as a commentator or manger/occasional wrestler. I am a big fan of his character and he is good enough to get other people over. I would get him signed before TNA does.
2. Paul Heyman
Another person who could be used as a commentator or manager and get people over in either position. Of course it would be too much to ask for him to be a writer but we can dream.
3. Chris Hero
4. Claudio Castaganoli
The Kings of Wrestling, a great tag team with ROH's two biggest guys that can work as good as anybody, and better than most. These two were made for the modern WWE era, and could be a great addition to a possible growing tag division.
5. Morishima
The former ROH World Champion and NOAH wrestler had some try outs for WWE but they didn't like him as much as I do. I think he is the goods. Not too big but big enough to kick some serious as, and he is just awesome in the ring. I would love to see Morishima be brought in as a bad ass power house face to feud and bring down the Legacy. Why? I don't know I just think it would be an awesome start with him.
