- TNA President Dixie Carter has confirmed in an Interview with British Newspaper The Daily Star that TNA Genesis will air live on tnappv.com at the cost of £10.50 (equivalent to $17.10) . TNA Fans have also noted that their Sky Guide does not make any mention of TNA Genesis on Wednesday (the usual PPV airing in the UK). This could mean there will be no future TV broadcast of PPV's. Dixie Carter had the following to say to the Daily Star :

“You’ll see more wrestling and less talk.

“We’ll let the action propel those storylines versus the talk. The fans will be the ones who win.”

And of Monday’s bumper show, she said: “Thank you, thank you for helping TNA set record ratings in every way last night. We ALL won.”

This will be great news for many in the UK who normally receive the TNA PPV's on the Wednesday following the Sunday PPV. To compare WWE PPV's air live in the UK on Sky Sports and Sky Box office however UK fans pay for half of them at the cost of around £14.95 (equivalent to $24.36) while the other half a free. The downside however is UK fans are used to many free PPV's from WWE and if TNA intend to charge for every PPV they could see a dent in the number of UK buys.

i suppose its good for those with a quick and reliable internet connection

I'd rather wait 3 days and not pay personally.

Why is she thanking the UK fans for the good ratings for Monday's Impact? It wasn't even shown live in the UK, so the UK fans had nothing to do with the live ratings result. :wtf:

Yeah, seems like a pretty daft plan. If you're willing to sit infront of a computer and watch, you're not likely to pay.

And £10 is pretty high to watch a show on a 15 inch laptop screen rather than a 42 inch TV.

I understand they want to try and turn their high ratings in the UK into profit, but I can't see this being a success. If they'd been able to get on Sky Box Office it might have worked (although I guess Sky are the ones blocking that) but this, just seems to have faliure written all over it.

The fuck?

Oh Fuck!

Shit! SHIT SHIT!

I don't have BT vision, and don't want to watch it on a PC, would happily pay to watch it on my TV as I think the product warrents paying for, but I'm pretty fucked by all accounts.

Ok, slightly better:
The new TNAwrestling.com says that the PPVs are still on Bravo 2. It also says they are on BT Vision On Demand but get this... on a 17 Day Delay!
