I dunno, it's optical and has two buttons and a scrollything. And it has two buttos on the side for forward/backward pages in IE or Netscape. So I guess it's Five button optical?

3 Button wireless optical mouse
Comes in handy when I switch my vid card over to my tv to watch movies and shit. Can pause from the couch.

That 5 button shit is annoying, becaus I always click those side buttons on accident. Who needs 5 buttons anyway?
I have a Microsoft 5 button optical, and it is the best mouse I have used yet. I have a cordless optical at home, which is decent, except you have to replace the batteries fairly often.

I have two buttons and a scrolling thing in the middle...and it is optic. So...2 button optical or is that 3?

3, the scrolling thing can be pressed and can function as another button (usually)

I really need an optical, my 3 button ball mouse at home is getting really weird and sticky, despite it having been given a good clean several times.
How much do opticals go for these days?

HAHAAAAA I never tried pushing the scroll button. I did and a big circle with up and down arrows appeared, then it slowly started scrolling down the page.
No sure what good that is but it looked cool.
OK I played with it, you can scroll without rolling the scroll button. I guess that would be good for reading huge threads.
Thanks :)

Should I buy a mousemat for my optical?
Should I buy a mousemat for my optical?
Only if it is made specifically for optical mice, but it isn't really necessary. I'm not using one.
