both men are tried and true company men. So who do you like better? Compare , contrast, bitch, moan and do what you do best regarding these guys and their positions in their respective companies.

You should ask this again after A.J. has had more of a ride at the top. True, yes. Tried, no. Not yet anyway.

I really like both, they are hard working, and true to there companies... But that being Said I will go with Cena. After all he is great with the kids, the most requested person for Make A Wish Foundation. Not to mention the few times I have been lucky enough to go to Raw and met Cena he was just a great guy, down to earth and kind.

But then again I have never met AJ so my vote is kind of impartial.

As a wrestler, AJ.

As the face of a company and the definition of a "Company Man", Cena.

Thed has a good point. Yes they are both faces of their respected companies but Cena has been at the top for 5 years and AJ is now really trying to break through. time will tell

AJ is a christian man who's never put a foot wrong and has been with the company since it started, what else does he have to do?

Being a Christian makes him a good company man?

Sorry, what I meant was he's lives a 'Christian' life style, which would mean, he's not likely to go out partying with chicks and get in trouble etc. I know Cena hasn't/doesn't

Just don't know what else AJ could do to me more of a company man, he's safe as houses as far as management goes IMO

Well, so is Cena. And Cena busts his ass when he doesn't need to nor should he.

Cena does more for the company and I honestly think he sacrifices more for the company than AJ does.

I fail to see a way that Cena is better than AJ, other than that he works for a more successful company

Only because he works for a larger public company.....

I just think to me, they will both do whatever needed to help the company, but one of those men is fucking awesome, and the other is John Cena

I think Styles puts up with more crap thrown his way. People in TNA think they have to fix him

I agree with this. John Cena is no doubt a company man, but I think the same could be said about AJ Styles.

AJ Styles is definitely a company man. He won his first TNA World Title in 2003, has been with the company longer than any other wrestler on the active roster (aside from Jeff Jarrett, obviously). In fact, aside from JJ and Scott Hall, AJ Styles is the only wrestler from the NWA:TNA Week 1 PPV that is still wrestling with the company.

He may not be the biggest name in TNA, but he IS their company man. He's what Sting was for WCW: not as big of a star perhaps as Hulk Hogan or Kevin Nash or Lex Luger, but a far better wrestler and the only man to never jump ship to the WWF, or to even have any kind of history there before joining WCW.

That being said, AJ > Cena. He's a far better worker and Cena is only barely better on the mic. He might be more fluid in his speaking, but he has never made me say "holy shit" because of one of his matches. AJ is always good in the ring, and given a stellar opponent, is often GREAT in the ring. He's had five star matches that I can watch again and again. John Cena has not.

– TNAWrestlingNews.com (http://www.tnawrestlingnews.com/) is reporting that AJ Styles could be in line for a makeover as creative has discussed having the TNA World Heavyweight Champion bleach his hair blonde in order to synergize his partnership with Ric Flair. Though it should be noted that Styles has a say in this so it may not happen.

Both suffer in different aspects character-wise. WWE's John Cena suffers from a lack of change, but does have an established consistency. TNA's AJ Styles suffers from too much change and a lack of consistency.

All in all, given its WWE and their portrayal is far more consistent, I would say John Cena.

At least the WWE has given him a consistent character and basis to fall back on. Although, I think the WWE should alter his character to freshen it up a little.

TNA has tried to turn AJ Styles upside down since he first won the NWA World title and aligned himself with Vince Russo back in 2003. Now fast forward to 2009-2010 just as AJ Styles was really starting to get over as a babyface champion (almost comparable to how Bret Hart was portrayed) they change his entire direction and in effect ruin the character he was just establishing for himself. Now he will potentially have bleach blond hair and become the Nature Boy version 3.0.

I think they should have kept his babyface character and honour and proceeded to build it up more and more so the new fans can get a chance to figure out what he is all about.
