Always considered starting with the first season and trying to get into it. Only saw bits and pieces of it since it's been on.
So, Yay or Nay.

No you should not. First season is superb. Then it starts slowly going downhill... and then it completely goes to shit.

I caught up with Netflix and I still like the show. None of the later seasons compare with the first (and the second season was a mess the show never recovered from), and season three tried too hard with it's political points. I do like season four (especially the first few episodes, great dialogue style introduced) and find people's criticism a bit reaching this year. While the earlier comments on the seasons were understandable, the stuff people say about four is on par with 'it's hip to hate Heroes'. Unnecessary.
Anyway, watch it it if you want - but know season one will set up a bar the rest of the seasons just won't reach again.

First season was good.
Second season was Awesome and my favourite, though everybody hates it.
The first part of season three was a mess. Never saw the second half because I thought the season was over because the "volume" ended.
Never got back into it, don't really feel like I'm missing much. Might watch it someday on DVD.

Heroes is.... odd.
I hated the first few episodes, but for the most part, really got into the first season.
The second season was pretty awful, despite Adam being awesome.
Third season was awful too, but it had it's moments.
This season has been pretty damn good thus far, besides the fucking deaf girl.
Overall, Heroes is enjoyable. There are some bad parts, there are some good parts. Check it out for yourself.

I have been watching the show since the start, and consider myself a 'fan'.
It is true, season one is/was incredible, but something went wrong...
Certain characters were introduced for really stupid reasons, the whole template of how the story was told changed so much it lost it's greatest narrative structure after season 1.
Season 1 was awesome, season 2 was restructured because of the strike and ended prematurely, season 3, I actually liked, it just fluctuated too much sometimes, season 4, its ok, probably the weakest really.
Give it a go.

Watch it if you can put up with a cheerleader hating her father one week then loving him more than anything the next and so on and so forth.

Sylar, Peter Petrelli/Nathan, Edgar (Ray Park) are the only reasons I really still care for Heroes.

I know, which is why this season isn't really up in my good books.
Just watch it. If you don't like it then stop. If you like it then keep watching. It's simple. Unless you're going to complain and whine about it later like a lot of stupid bitches do.

Watch season 1, just take out the cliffhanger ending and be done with it.

Spock is on Fringe.
Sylar is the new Spock. You are correct about Sulu (although his character is dead in "current day"), but you forgot Uhura played Micah's grandmother in New Orleans.

Up to Season 1 Episode 6. Without revealing any spoilers, which ones out of these people return after season 1.
Niki, Peter and his brother, Samesh, Hiro, Matt, Claire.

From what I've seen so far, I don't think Niki has any powers, she just has split personality disorder. :shifty:

Everyone on your list makes it beyond Chapter 1. There are more characters introduced in each Chapter.

Suresh, Hiro and Ando are top 3 on my hate list. Hiro was awesome in season 1, tolerable at least.
Who is your top 3 on your love list?
Jon Kano
01-30-2010, 08:38 PM
At the moment -
1 - Edgar
2 - Peter
3 - Sylar
Really wish Edgar/Ray Park was in it 'properly'.
Have always been interested in Peter's character, how he is in present form, and in contrast to how his future versions were always tainted with pain/sorrow. Future Peter in 'Five Years Gone' = ultimate awesome Peter Petrelli lol. I also think, as well as Sylar's original power (intuitive aptitude), Peters original power (power mimicry) was very interesting and just made his character all the more cool to watch and predict. And I have always wanted him to get his original power back, although its is also interesting how he can only take and have one at the moment.

what up g
what about you?
Peter, Sylar, and Nathan but he's dead and the actor just got a DUI I think lol.
Before that girl died she mentioned Peter, not by name, that he was a man of great compassion and could take the place of Joseph and I was interested in seeing if Peter would help them find their way although she's dead now but maybe something will come of it.
