"Big" Rob Terry apparently defeated Eric Young overseas to win the TNA Global Champion. Yeah, I am overwhelmed, too.

I'm not a fan of this switch. I think the TNA Global Championship should definitely be used as a singles championship, but a guy like D'Angelo Dinero or even Orlando Jordan should be holding it right now. Rob Terry is way too green.

If you people think you will see Rob Terry holding the title on television, you need to wake up. They are in England, as a company you want to "give the fans what they want" and they did just that.

ROB TERRY SUCKS!
That is all I have to add at this time.

Having him drop the Title before returning from overseas is the logical scenario, but since when has TNA done what's logical?

It's been done plenty of times before so i think thats what they're doing now. I hope anyway.
I thought they were in the same stable anyway?

I don't like off-tv title switches, especially not when Big Rob wins a title. Doesn't that steroid-demon have an X-Division title shot awaiting him too?

Also I'm at the London show on Saturday so I may be able to tell you first hand whether the green giant is a champ or w/e.

It is not as bad as having their World champ drop the belt on some Canadian Indy show, set up a good feud and then never deliver on the match.

Someone really must not think too highly of Eric Young though.

He'll probably lose it to Pope by the time they come back
I thought WWE having the tag titles change at a house show (Miz-Morrison beating Punk-Kofi) was bad enough, but they atleast had the excuse of not having tv time for the change which was imminent. This however is a sad move.
TNA rumours on shifting permanently to Mondays better not be true for their sake with this kinda booking!

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that when 'Big' Rob Terry is on TV is head looks way too small for his body?

Is that the Raven/Jarrett switch before Impact came back on TV?

Rob Terry has absolute ZERO wrestling appeal and talent in my opinion....another Bischoff and Hogan move that results in crappy television and wasted ring/interview time with a guy that got a million dollar body, nickel brain, and zero athletic ability...at least Eric Young had appeal as leader of WE and as a heel..this is a bad move in my opinion and I hope it backfires on TNA

Actually they were in Wales, and Rob Terry is a Welshman from Swansea.
Speaks volumes about TNA's promotional abilities when I'm a wrestling fan who is interested in TNA, live near and work in Cardiff (the venue for the title switch) and had zero knowledge that TNA were in town until after the fact.
Anyway, Terry is green and it's early days to put a strap on him, but kudos to the first Welshman ever to take a (fairly) major title in a US mainstream promotion. Cymru am byth!

Back from the London show.
Rob Terry was quite mercilessly booed. He tried a powerslam. He shouldn't have.
Feel a bit bad for him to be honest :(. Good show though.
i hate eric young's blood
