FROM THE FUCKING FRONT PAGE
This week’s TNA iMPACT! did a 1.4 cable rating, a new record for the company for a Thursday night broadcast. The show did hours of 1.46 and 1.3 with an average of 1,867,000 viewers. The show peaked in the opening 15-minute segment with a 1.51 rating.
WWE Superstars on Thursday drew a 1.0 cable rating, with 962,000 viewers. The replay did a 0.2 rating.
Dixie Carter posted the following about last night’s TNA iMPACT! rating… Just heard from Spike Prez, Kevin Kay. iMPACT! did record numbers last night. A 1.4 rating!! Toasting in Manchester.
I've never heard of TFFP.
Is it reliable?

not bad, the ratings are slowly going up but its getting there
Peaking with a 1.51 during the first 15 minutes tells me that they had a fantastic audience, interested enough to tune into the show (or at least watch it following whatever program is before Impact), but that they couldn't sustain, let alone grow, that audience into a higher number.
Still, I'm looking at the negatives here. A record number is a record number.

Numbers dont lie i guess...but it matters if the numbers stay this way down the line...might just end up turning new watchers off of it...and deter some of the faithful along the way. But it kinda seems like a clusterfuck that slowly might settle down and be something to enjoy watching. Just for God's sake get the fucking Nasty Boys of the tv.

Yeah TNA has been doing great since Hogan came along. They have hit great numbers since then. That should tell you that Hogan has been doing a good job with everything.
I hate that he brought along the nasty boys but they honestly havent been bad.

Good for TNA. Glad to see that they are doing well. I really enjoy their approach to characters and such, even if things get messy at times. Hopefully they can continue to grow as a promotion.

^ A one line noid post? Who are you and what have you done with noid?
Anyway, yeah, well done TNA. Good to see. Im not a mega TNA fanboy, but as a wrestling fan, TNA's success can only bring a better product.
