Edge wins the Royal Rumble tonight... Chris Jericho takes the title at Elimination Chamber from The Undertaker who is too pre-occupied with Shawn Michaels in the match. Edge uses his title shot to face Jericho who bad mouthed him after Edge got injured and had to relinquish the title. The face one another in the main event and Edge wins...

for the WWE Unified Tag Team Championship
DeGeneration X (c) v. The Brothers of Destruction
Triple H and Shawn Michaels both cost one another a shot at winning the Royal Rumble. Then Shawn goes into Smackdown's elimination chamber to win the title and force Taker into a match at Wrestlemania, but gets eliminated. Taker loses the title and blames Michaels so he attacks HBK at Raw and Triple H makes the save. The next time Taker talks he says how Michaels alone couldn't beat him and the only chance he has to beat the streak is help from Triple H, so he challenges both men to a handicap match at Wrestlemania. Shawn doesn't like this but says if he has his heart set of taking on DX at Wrestlemania he doesn't want to beat the streak 2 on 1 so HBK demands Taker pick a tag partner, he picks Kane. At Wrestlemania The Brothers of Destruction win and Michaels blames Triple H for the loss and turns on him...

Championship Scramble Match
for the WWE Championship
Randy Orton (c) v. Cody Rhodes v. Kofi Kingston v. Shemus v. Ted DiBiase
Orton wins the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble with help from Cody and Ted. In the Royal Rumble Cody and Ted are tuling the ring together double teaming all their opponents and look to have the Rumble in hand, until Shemus comes in and destroys both men and tosses them over the top rope, eliminating them bother. Legacy blame Orton for not having their back but Orton smooths it over, and they all do a gang beatdown on Shemus, until Kofi comes for the save. The next week Shemus and Kofi face Legacy and win not being friends but having respect with one another. At Elimination chamber Orton wins the chamber match without help from Legacy who are not in the match. Shemus destroys Kofi in the chamber match causing them to no longer have their respect with one another. Ted claims the he could have won that chamber as well and Orton is sick of Ted's complining and challenges him but Shemus, Kofi, and Cody all want in too, hence Scramble... At Wrestlemania Orton slithers away with the title with help from Cody and Ted who turns out to be on Ortons side all along in a big swerve.

I'm scared of this match, but you can already see the build of this comming up, not really much I can add.

Hair v. Mask Match
CM Punk v. Rey Mysterio
One Punk decides to take someone out of the audiance to "save" them. The person he selects is wearing a Mysterio mask but this person doesn't want to be saved. CM Punk and Luke Gallows days they're going to save him from himself. Punk talks about how he is under the mask of addiction and he will remove that mask from him. Mysterio comes from the save. These two have at it at Elimination chamber but don't settle things. Mysterio calls Punk self ritious and that he doesn't practice what he preaches, Punk says that Mysterio hides who he is because he's so hopped up on drugs he doesn't know what's what. The challanges one another to a match but Mysterio says if Punk loses he has to shave his head like all the people he "saved" Punk retorts by saying that Mysterio has to unmask if he loses... At Wrestlemania Mysterio wins, and Punk gets shaved bald.

Christian (c) v. Shelton Benjamin
Christian beats Zeke at the Rumble, then Regal at Elimination chamber. After his win against Regal he comes out on ECW and claims that he has cleaned out the entire roster of ECW and has nothing left to prove, and thus he is leaving ECW. Out comes Shelton talking about their match at TLC and says he wants one more shot at the title... At Wrestlemania Shelton Benjamin wins...

Drew McIntyre & The Miz v. John Morrison & MVP
McIntyre beats Morrison in a last chance for the IC title match with an illegal move. Morrison wants another shot at McIntyre but can't get it for the title, so he tells him to get a tag partner and he'll get one himself and they'll settle this. McIntyre picks The Miz and Morrison picks MVP. The faces take it at Wrestlemania.

Gail Kim (c) & Mickie James (c) v. Layla & Michell McCool
Gail wins the Women's Championship eventually and Mickie wins at limination chamber. WWE's Beautiful People keep prodding and double teaming Piggy James until Mickie agrees to a match, but she wants to put an end to both of them Mickie gets Gail to be her tag partner. Then on of the Raw Guest hosts tells Gail she has to put the title on the line in the tag match. The faces take this one at Wrestlemania.

HBK vs Taker for the WHC and Takers Streak vs HBK's retirement - HBK faces Edge for the Title shot at Elimination Chamber and Jericho costs Edge the match but has to put his career on the line to get the match.

HHH vs Randy Orton vs Sheamus vs Kofi Kingston Fatal Fourway Elimination Match for the WWE Title

The Miz Show (Team Vince) vs The Hart Dynasty (Team Bret) for the Unified Tag Championship (DX loses the belts to The Miz Show and offers to represent Vince at WM, and puts Big Show in another high profile WM match)

IC Title Match : Morrison (C) vs CM Punk

US Title Match : MVP (C) vs the Winner of a Pre WM Battle Royal which would be Shelton Benjamin

After watching the Royal Rumble, one match I would really want to see is Christian defending the ECW Championship against Edge. I know Edge has heat with Jericho to capitalise on, and whatever. But now, being ECW Champion is about the only thing Edge has not done in his WWE career. As such, he should do it, and become the first true Grand Slam Champion of the brand split era.

I would have Shawn Michaels turn into a crazed heel intent with facing Taker, and will do anything to face/beat him.
He costs Undertaker the title at Elimination Chamber.
Jericho benefits from this and wins the WHC.

Edge challenges Jericho at Wrestlemania. In other events, John Cena and Batista begin an escalating fued due to the events of the rumble. They cost eachother title shots, or even title wins once again in the coming months. Sheamus comes out of this all still holding the WWE Title. Eventually, a Cena Batista showdown is booked as an inter-brand matchup.
HHH wins the WWE title shot oppurtunity.

So, this all results in the main events of:

Edge vs Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship

Triple H vs Sheamus for the WWE Championship

Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker II

John Cena vs Batista

As for the other matches.....

The Bret vs Vince angle is obviously going to Mania, and will factor in as a huge main event match of some kind. If they have a street fight, that's great and that goes on the list of the main events.
Somehow I doubt that will happen, and if it does I have a hard time imagining it will be very good. So as a possible alternative their fued could intertwine with the Shawn vs Taker storyline.
Shawn, as a crazed heel, aligns with Vince. He'll screw Bret again, and be with Vince if it gets him a shot at Taker. Taker stays steadfast that he won't give into what Shawn wants, but Bret gets him to be his representative.
If not, they just have a good ole streetfight

The midcard.......

CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio in a Mask/Hair match. If Jeff Hardy or RVD could face CM Punk, that would be amazing, but those are long shots. This is the most likely and what I'd want save the other two options.

John Morrison vs The Miz in a US title vs IC title matchup. Not very likely, but I'd love to see them in a matchup at Mania.
They'd more likely be in Money in the Bank, but I think MITB could afford to lose them.

Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase Jr.
Cody Rhodes is built up as a tweener in this, and is the "wildcard" that determines the outcome.

MITB:

Mickie James vs Maryse in the obligatory Divas faire. Hopefully to unify the women's belts.

Hart Dynasty hopefully have the tag belts by then. Have them face a team like Kane and Mark Henry or something in the pre-show

Since Christian is in MITB (and hopefully wins), have him drop the belt to Ezekiel Jackson or William Regal. It either doesn't make the card or is on the pre-show.


Oh yea, and in the style of Raw Guest hosts, there is a Wrestlemania Guest Host for the evening...

So, the Rumble is in the books, which was awesome live! We have RAW tonight, but now comes the obvious questions...what is the fallout from the Rumble going to look like? Several things happened and here are my scenarios that I can see happening...

Shawn Michaels took a step towards a heel turn at RR I believe. I know that he "snapped" and all, but could we possibly see HHH vs heel HBK at Wrestlemania? I hope so because heel HBK is sooooooo much better than this lame version. I also hope so because I really don't want to see Michaels vs Taker II. The first match was amazing...why try to improve on perfection?

Orton vs DiBiase is obviously coming after last night. Anyone who has been following tpww knows that. My question though is, what happens to Cody Rhodes after all of this? Legacy is obviously done as it would be hard to continue with just Orton and Rhodes. You can't leave him with DiBiase because you are pushing DiBiase in a singles role against Orton. So what happens to Cody in all this? I see Smackdown in his future. I have a feeling that his days in the midcard may be done and its upper card for him in the near future.

What is going to happen with Edge? Two things are pretty clear: Edge will be a face after the reaction he got last night and Edge is going to Wrestlemania. At this point, Edge vs Sheamus would have kind of a lame feel to it. I love Edge, but am luke warm on Sheamus. I just don't see WWE pushing Sheamus vs Edge at WM. So does Jericho somehow get the WC off of Taker to set up Edge vs Jericho at WM? If not, who takes the WWE title off of Sheamus to set up WM?

IMO, Cena vs Batista will happen at WM in a "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immoveable object" type setup. I know I am not at all original in my prediction here as many others have predicted Cena vs Batista at WM. Perhaps "Big Dave" wins Taker's title and Cena vs Dave is for the WC?

Who does Undertaker wrestle at WM? I am honestly up in the air with this one. I think HBK vs HHH is already in motion and that leaves Undertaker without a prospective opponent. Undertaker vs. Rey wouldn't work at WM. Punk I can't see as an option because he is on Vince's shit list for some reason. It would have to be someone that the WWE fans could potentially see beating him as his "streak" is a big deal at WM now. Who would be the perfect opponent in this situation?

Where does Christian go from here? He has faced and defeated every threat to his title in ECW. The man has nothing left to prove there and is OBVIOUSLY the biggest name they have. Where does he go from here? Which brand will he go to? It would be stupid for them to leave him on ECW, but once again we have to consider Vince's shit list with Christian's name on it. I know that Edge vs Jericho is supposed to happen, but I would LOVE to see Christian move to Smackdown and feud with Jericho. Smackdown is missing a top face, IMO. I know they have Undertaker and Rey, but how long can they ride that train? Undertaker is great, but he is not the traditional face that they can throw on the mic every week. Rey is good, but how many times can you try to sell that underdog story with him? With Edge expected to be on RAW, Christian to Smackdown would be great.

Punk was awesome at the Rumble, and I suspect he (with Gallows) will be the Undisputed Tag team champs and hence travel to all brands spreading their promo's:- AWESOME!

Triple H winning the RAW Elimination Chamber to earn a WrestleMania title shot against Sheamus seems like it could be a good bet to me. There is still the possibility of doing Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels, but that could happen post-Mania and still be huge. The WWE needs some big programs for that time of year. It also leaves the question of what Sheamus does. I think Sheamus vs. Triple H is the way to go, with Trips working with a guy he has been backing.

Legacy should have a Triple Threat Match, in my opinion. Orton and Rhodes have tension, Orton and DiBiase have tension, and DiBiase and Rhodes have tension. Easy set-up.

Chris Jericho vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Title seems like it could be a fairly safe bet. I'm not complaining about the match, don't get me wrong -- but something about it just doesn't seem "right." Will they put it on last? Doesn't seem like it; but Sheamus vs. Triple H is not a headliner, either. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels is. Maybe they will put The Undertaker (w/Bret Hart) vs. Shawn Michaels (w/Vince McMahon) on the show? That could close, but I don't like the World Title matches being "afterthoughts." But maybe they will surprise me and give the closing time to Jericho and Edge?

Some of these are hopefuls like the ECW Title Match. I don't know how many people WWE will put in MITB but I would love to see Big Show and Miz dominate as a tag team. I threw Mark Henry in because he has done good work this year and I think he deserves to be on the card. I think that if Diabiase wins the EC that would be amazing and fuel a greatly hyped match at WM between Orton and Ted. Who will be face in Edge/Jericho??? Will that be the match who knows.

Then even after Taker is worn down from a 20 minute match, he still beats HBK, making HBK the first person to lose after cashing in MITB.

I think it would be better if Shawn entered MITB and lost. Just because it'd be too obvious what he'd do with it once he won it. It could further his breakdown angle, and he could just confront Taker at the end of the night.

This is something I have thought about. But then what does The Undertaker do at WrestleMania? Right now, I feel like they almost have to do Taker vs. HBK, because no other program would really fit.

There is part of me that thinks HBK pulls an Edge and takes someone out of the SmackDown! Elimination Chamber to take their spot. Let's just say the Chamber could end up being: The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk vs. John Morrison. You have Shawn Michaels eliminated pretty early. I think CM Punk would benefit the most by eliminating him, with a crooked roll-up. HBK then takes his frustrations out...not on Punk, the man who eliminated him, but on The Undertaker. This allows Punk to also get a pin on Taker, eliminating him from the Chamber.

At this point, I'd still have Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and John Morrison still in the match, with one man guaranteed to be the new World Heavyweight Champion. Morrison does something crazy, like moonsault onto both Jericho and Punk from a cell. Mysterio does something like senton off one of the cells onto Punk, pinning him. Jericho, Morrison or Mysterio are going to be the new World Heavyweight Champion. I can imagine this being a great portion of the match, right up until Morrison pins Mysterio with a Starship Pain. It's down to Jericho and Morrison -- old star versus new star. The two have a fantastic finishing sequence, which eventually leads to Jericho locking Morrison in the Walls of Jericho. Morrison gets to the ropes, but Jericho refuses to break the hold. Jericho grabs Morrison back into the centre of the ring, and his arm drop three times, meaning Jericho is now a three-time World Heavyweight Champion.

From there, Edge chooses to face Jericho at WrestleMania; John Morrison enters Money in the Bank; CM Punk and Rey Mysterio either wrestle each other or compete in Money in the Bank; and The Undertaker actually wants a match with Shawn Michaels now.

after a lengthy bout shawn is clearly about to get the win do to either dubious methods or some impossible bump or whatever, Undertaker is pinned, 1 , 2 and then the lights go out and when they come back on he is gone never to appear again. Perfect ending. I love taker, but if reports are true that his health is in jeapordy now, he really should leave his career on a spectacular moment unlike anything never seen, except for i guess chris benoit....


Cena v Batista
Batista will probably retain when Bret Hart, having possibly interfered with the Taker match either in shawn's favor or against using his wheelchair if he still has one or something to that measure possibly. Bret then joins mcmahon in beating on Cena or something crazy. I dunno, I hope they add somehting to this match that makes it more worthwhile to me, i care for neither of these guys matches usually, but maybe they will suprise me and steal the show... doubt it since my most looked forward to match is:


Jericho v. Edge

I'd really like to see Jericho retain somehow in a really good straight up match, but this is unlikley to happen, and I realy do like Edge, so I will not be dissapointed in the slightest if he doesn't

Rey v. CM PUNK

I hope Kaval interferes, but i am interested to see punk bald


Orton Dibiase rhodesamaphone

I think Rhodes should suprise everybody and pull this fucker off, Dibiase has the credibility in my eyes, if he beats Orton one on one at backlash, or some raw pretty soon after mania to not lose any prestige over it. it has to be somehting that make Cody look reallly smart that and not make either other wrestler look too bad, If they don't put Cody out there being a threat even by less than ethical tactics, he'll never make it if they all go their seperate ways. Or maybe have a 2 on 2 on 2 match each wrestler with their dad, that would be kinda cool.

Bryan danielson does a cattle mutilation on the ladder, i don't give a fuck if he's in the match or not.

they should just go ahead and get naked, next raws draws will be even more monumental, And they could possibly sell out the fucking tokyo dome at next wm, or they'd go bankrupt from lawsuits and fcc regulations or something, BUT VINCE YOU HAVE TO TAKE RISKS!

Here is one,

[Taker Vs HBK.

HBK and Taker come out and stare each other down. Suddenly Taker smiles and HBK nods his head. HBK walks up to him and Taker falls on the mat. HBK pins him.

1-2-3.

HBK ends the streak and Taker let him! Then Taker gets up and HBK turns sideways to him and open up his neck. Taker bites HBK's neck and HBK shakes and becomes a zombie servant of Taker, but at the price of being remembered as the GREATEST Mania performer of all time.]

[HHH Vs Sheamus.

HHH comes out but Sheamus isnt coming. HHH gets angry and demands what the deal is. Sheamus appears on the titantron backstage and he is holding HHH's baby children hostage. Sheamus tells HHH that its time to fight on his terms. If HHH does not want his children to be hurt, then he will accept the match stipulation to be changed to a "Celtic Cage of Cruelty" match. HHH says okay just dont hurt my kids.

A HIAC lowers around the ring, but it is colored green and various objects are thrown in. Sheamus then pops up from underneat the ring but HHH rolls him up for the pin with a small package.

After the match, HHH rushes backstage to his children but they attack him and claim that Sheamus is their new father!]

Edge Vs Jericho

[Edge comes out with black facepaint and an actual spear. He claims the jokes are over and tonight he will kill Jericho by physically spearing him. Security and police run out and arrest Edge. The match is ruled as a no contest and Jericho comes out and spits in Edge's face as he is being taken away]

Bret Hart Vs Vince McMahon

[In the middle of the match, Bret Hart pulls a gun out on Vince and shoots him. Vince falls down and Shane runs down to the ring and starts shooting at Bret, but "misses" and hits Vince instead. Bret smiles and Shane smiles back at him. Bret then grabs the mic and says, "Come here son!". Shane and Bret embrace as EMTs take Vince McMahon ]

MITB

[During the middle of the match, when everybody is down on the outside of the ring, The Briefcase suddenly drops down and the lights go out. When they come back on, the briefcase is missing. The MITB participants look around in shock and see Drew Mcintyre standing on the ramp with the MITB briefcase in hand and Vince McMahon patting him on the back. *Note: This happens before the Bret Vs Vince match* ]

Tag Team Match

[R-Truth comes out rapping when suddenly he is arrested on the entrance ramp. Miz and Show come out smiling and laughing and tell Morrison that he is gonna have to go at it ALL ALONE. It is revealed that Miz and Show faked a crime so that R-Truth would get blamed for it. ]

Batista Vs Cena

[They have a back and forth match when John Cena's wife jumps the barricade (She is shown earlier to be there to support Cena) and costs Cena the match. After the match she and Batista embrace and she says that Cena never "satisfied" her, because he is "small" and she has now found a REAL man. She and Batista leave to go to the local "hotel" so she can forget Cena]

Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon
Ideally, this could be an Attitude era feel match. I posted an idea for a Mark Henry heel turn on RAW in the Mark Henry thread that suggested Henry beat down Cena without having a problem with it and help Vince win the match.

Next week on RAW, Henry accompanies Vince to the ring for the contract signing with Hart and Austin, who inserts himself into the match as special guest referee.

At WrestleMania, Henry comes in and attacks Austin before turning his attention to Hart, but Shawn Michaels, who would've lost to The Undertaker earlier, intercepts Henry with Sweet Chin Music. Vince looks at Michaels in rage and screams, but Michaels nails Sweet Chin Music on Vince, who staggers and turns into a Stunner. Hart locks in a Sharpshooter, Vince taps out. After the match, Hart, Michaels, and Austin celebrate in the ring together and give the crowd a feel good moment.

A fun match with five Attitude era guys involved and King & JR on commentary, as well as a way to get Henry on the show, seeing how he's likely not going to this year.
