Macho Man as my pick overall. Promo, charisma, and character-wise Macho Man wins while athletic ability Styles wins due to being able to use high risk moves a lot as part of his wrestling routine.

Too early to really judge Styles compared to a wrestler of a Hogan-style quality like the Macho Man. He is the face of TNA but at the same time TNA isn't doing what Vince did with Austin/Hogan to make them well known in the mainstream and become the symbol of a certain era or the company. Most of the time TNA either shifted focus like his early reign as champion in early TNA years to being all about Jarrett or ignoring him in favor of WWE-leftovers.

Randy Savage has had way more entertaining matches than AJ Styles has had. Savage is absolutely one of the best of all time. He was also one of my favorites to use in WCW vs nWo Revenge.

Unpopular choice, but I voted AJ Styles. Really enjoy watching that guy. Most of what I remember of Savage is from his '99 run in WCW, which wasn't really all too good.

His earlier stuff was good, but I haven't seen/don't remember enough of it. AJ on the other hand I love watching.

For some people I'm sure it was an easier decision than for me but I went with Savage. He's been in some of my favourite matches and is better all round. I love AJ but sometimes at the end of the match he's moving around like nothing's hurt him and it drives me mad.

I can't think of many people that I'll prefer to Savage. HOF bound in my opinion
