Alright, so I'm watching Carlito v. Evan Bourne on Superstars (A pretty good match), and I notice that Evan was acting kind of cocky; sauntering, taunting, basically wrestling with a bit of swagger. So my question is would Evan benefit from adopting a new, more arrogant attitude? Maybe nothing like full blown heel, just a little something to tweak his persona. Of course this is all wishful thinking, the chances of Bourne getting any type of push on Raw is really slim.

They are going to turn him heel so he can face someone his own size. Hornswoggle

Evan Bourne would benefit from ANY kind of personality. He is as bland as the original Rocky Maivia. Good potential as a high flyer/ Jeff hardy type, but has no real identity. I don't mean just mic skills (Jeff hardy had none) but an identity in general.

I see what you're saying, and yeah, I think if they had any plans to push him (which I highly doubt anyway), that he could benefit by having a bit of an attitude.

Maybe if they gave him this reputation of a guy with "little man syndrome", where he fearlessly looks to pick fights with anyone, I think the fans can get behind him even more.

I believe the WWE likes Evan Bourne. They moved him to RAW very fast, and they showcase his Shooting Star Press whenever they can (on the RAW with Bret Hart's return, and at the Royal Rumble, for example). The WWE loves showing him off, and they may not exactly be pushing him towards a WWE Title run, or anything, but I don't think the guy is being "kept down" as many would suggest.

A move to SmackDown! would do Bourne well, in my opinion.

New reality TV show.
The maturation towards a literate TPWW poster!
Who will get there first? Only time will tell. Let the shitty grammar, spamming and hard to read posts begin.

Also, Evan/Carlito was about 10x better than I expected. Really enjoyed that business, and made me think again that Bourne is a future champ.

The Bourne/Carlito match was great, but I didn't notice anything different about Bourne during the match. As mentioned, he needs to go to Smackdown. Remember where Dolph Ziggler was on Raw before HIS move to the blue brand? I see something similar happening with Evan Bourne if they move him.

Evan is so small that he won't be able to wear the belt around his waist.

Jokes aside I do believe that it would make perfect sense if they would draft guys like Evan, Swagger, MVP, Carlito, Primo etc. to the new show.

Pretty much the gimmick he used in WSX and DragonGate then?

He needs something to do out there other than flips and kicks, but being a generic 'cocky hell' isn't one.

Bourne would be perfect to play a wrestler who has delusions over his size and takes on "other" 300lbs+ wrestlers. Every week he comes out and brags that he's the only 300lbs athlete in the world who can perform the Shooting Star, and then proceeds to get thrown around the ring like a rag-doll by the likes of Mark Henry and Ezekiel, only to sneak a win at the last second or by chance.

kinda like when Hardcore and Crash Holly did the "Super Heavyweight" thing where they weighed over 400lbs

Shitty grammar stable gimmick? But I agree it's getting irritating to try and decipher what the fuck some people are trying to say.

Back to Bourne. Moving him from ECW was a huge mistake. He's not been buried per se since going to Raw, but his character development has pretty much hit a wall.

If he was on ECW, he could've easily been booked to be a guy who could legit win the strap. He lost out on a few potentially decent match ups with Christian, Ryder, etc.

Absolutely! I didn't want to make the reference myself as I wondered just how many people would remember that. It was strange at the time, considering that Bob Holly was about as well built as any of the mid-card.

Bourne would be excellent in this role. He might even get a few cheers in they portray his delusions in a comedic way.

The way to get the most out of him is to let him have longer matches where he can show more of his offense. His strength is that he does things in the ring that no one else is at the moment. He's spectacular and exciting, that can speak for itself at this stage.

Let's face it, he's in the WWE, and they'll never let anyone forget he's small. There's only one 'ultimate underdog' allowed at a time.
