Tough one here as I only know a bit about each wrestler. 'The Model' Rick Martel had a more entertaining gimmick though IMO, so I voted Martel.

Santana was more successful, but Martel was far more entertaining for me, so he gets my vote.

Don't know too much about these guys. I've seen some of their stuff from watching Youtube videos and Martel was definitely the more entertaining and better mic worker of the two. In terms of matches neither one really stood out so I guess Martel gets my vote simply for being more entertaining.

Rick Martel once held the record for the Royal Rumble time with 53 minutes.

Damn, really tough choice.

They were both great talents and each had the potential to be top tier midcard talents. I'm gonna have to go with Rick Martel though. I don't know why, but I was a big Martel fan as a kid, even though he was a heel when I started watching.

During the IC Title Battle Royal and subsequent finals match, I was rooting for Martel over Razor Ramon. I also had high hopes for Martel when he emerged in WCW in early 1998.

I only later would get to see Martel in his AWA days and his early WWF days as a tag team wrestler in Strike Force and the Can-Am Connection. Tremendous talent.

Santana was good, but I gotta go with Martel.

Great match. I loved watching these two square off because they were so similar. They were both tremendous workers in the ring. I also loved the way their feud always continued even after they stopped thier storyline together. Like if Santana saw Martel in the Rumble, he would go right after him. It was those little things that I really liked back then. Same thing with HBK/Jannetty, Bret/Owen.

Now, both guys had very successful runs as mid card wrestlers. Both were successful in tag teams. Santana had a very nice run with the IC Title and it was one of the better IC Title runs ever. Martel really helped get that TV Title over again in WCW with his feud with Booker T. They worked a very nice program together

Martel was a much better interview then Tito and had a bit more charisma then him. Martel also got over as both a heel and babyface, while Tito will always be remembered for his babyface run.

I am going to give the edge to Martel for this one.

Chico Santana had tons of ability from what I've seen but was never really a big fan. Rick Martel was great though. Great character, worked well in the ring, and had battles with many of the greats. Vote goes to The Model.

The Model.

Very entertaining character. Always enjoyed his promos, his feud with Tatanka is very memorable to me. :y:

Santana was always one of those "filler" guys to me. Just another spot on the roster.

I voted for Rick. His feud with Jake "The Snake" Roberts is the first thing that comes to mind. Next is well... Arrogance.

Just a random thought. Miz and Rick have the same "air" about them. I could see Miz saling his own cologne.

I don't remember too much of either due to being perpetual mid-carders, but I voted for Tito as he reminds me of the Spanish wrestling robot in Futurama.

Martel was horribly under-rated and should be in the WWE HOF. AWA World Champion, 3 time WWE Tag Team Champion, WCW TV Title Champ. Martel wins.

I like both guys a great deal, but I always liked Martel better. Santana was very entertaining to watch in the ring, but Martel was underrated in the ring and had a good persona to go with it. i liked in 1998 when he went to WCW and he was the television champion for a bit, I thought he looked like Sylvester Stallone at one point.

Rick Martel if for nothing else besides a huge button that said "YES, I AM A MODEL" and the "No Hitting in the Face" match with Shawn Michaels.

Tito. Personally wasn't a hard choice at all and I'm SHOCKED to see Martel in the lead currently.

By the way we have 7 people in the HoF currently; and not one of them is Ric Flair. You all fucking suck.
