Just a simple question. Not sure of it's been discussed before. But McIntyre's been undefeted for 6 months and counting. After reading spoilers, he seems to be headed into a feud with Kane.

So yea...How long?

Long enough to A. make the IC title prestigious, and B. turn a slightly over heel face by having him go after him.

Until he loses.

Honestly, I don't have a good answer. It's pretty obvious he's gonna go over Kane (the glorified jobber) at Elimination Chamber or Mania which is going to make him look even more credible than his feud with JoMo.

I do know that they are building him up better than Sheamus. Instead of shoving Drew down our throats and forcing us hate him, they are letting us hate him for his own (heel) merits.

I dont know how long but i figure how it will happen. He will most likely lose to a veteran such as kane. Then kane will lose his ic title match. Then McIntyre will lose to somebody who is climbing the "ladder" of success. Pretty much a jack swagger type thing

He'll be randomly jobbed out after someone forgets he's undefeated

I agree with the IC title idea. It's been looking much more prestigious since being moved to SmackDown!. The idea of turning a heel face to win it would work as well, but as of right now I can't think of anyone who is close to that position.

I think if he is to be beaten soon, it should be at either Mania or Summer Slam, and it should be for the IC title. Right now, the only guy I can think of that could use the win is Morrison, seeing as he's been absolutely dominated by McIntyre and the win would prove something.

Until the right guy comes along to beat McIntyre. I don't think he should just drop his undefeated streak randomly, ala CM Punk. Kane probably isn't the guy to do it, because McIntyre gets more from beating Kane than Kane gets from beating McIntyre.

To be honest, I think it will probably be to one of the NXT guys that the WWE thinks has a bright future. Bryan Danielson or Brett DiBiase would be my guess.

Drew McIntyre should not be undefeated for three reasons:

1. The whole newcomer who comes in undefeated, yet in two years time will be jobbing to everyone has been done to death.

2. Drew McIntyre is no Brock Lesnar/Goldberg/Great Khali etc. In other words he doesn't LOOK like someone who'd go undefeated.

3. Drew McIntyre sucks. He bores the fuck out of me, and we all know why he's getting this push to begin with...

He shouldnt, Mike Knox should be the one doing this right now.

The problem with Mike Knox is that he going undefeated is going to be another Snitsky because we can all see that he is not going anywhere.

Drew on the other hand, well he got the package, so when he goes undefeated, you can actually see, "Yeah that guys going places". Like, I can imagine, "World Champ Drew McIntyre" in 2 years or so, but "World Champ Mike Knox" in 2 years, well that just sounds too funny to be real.

The only thing in Drew's way is his look. He needs to get rid of his 1980's hair so he can look normal instead of looking like a jobber. But besides that I think he is solid.

I disagree one the problems with The E is they allmost never seem to never seem to little intresting things devlop I wouldve loved to see Knox go on a streak with his Evil "There are 206 bones in the human body" gimmick but no dice.

While Drew does look like a jobber Knox looks like a throwback as well but a throwback to badasses Like Buzz Sawyer and Bruiser Brody
a big, smelly, evil heel and I love it.

As it stands right now I could care less about McIntyre way too also ran for me and as someone said hes incredibly boring.

I wouldn't compare this streak to a huge Umaga/Snitsky/Goldberg streak because he simply isn't as monstrous as they were. He comes out with the win, but the matches aren't as one-sided (barring the initial debut matches). This makes him look like a wrestler rather than a monster. That keeps people interested in every match. Nobody wanted to watch Umaga destroy Area Man A every week. For that reason, I hope they do have a better plan for him than just building him up only to have him get knocked down and down and down.
