His beard is almost to biblical proportions (not in terms of awesomeness because that goes to Knox) he calls himself a savior and converts people.
I could see him wearing a robe to the ring and having people bow before him.

He'll start telling people to kneel before Zod....or Punk

Not to mention the set up Punk and Gallows did for the GTS on Smackdown...

I think he needs about 10 more followers though.

He's going to give Gallows a glass of kool aid one show and then we're never going to see poor Luke ever again. :(

With their current family friendly programming, I doubt they'll do anything that controversial.

I've been thinking, with the rumor of Punk vs Mysterio at Mania, I wonder if Punk will try to save Mysterio's son.

Punk is better than Jesus, though. Jesus was fond of wine, hung around with loose women (well, woman), and let 12 dudes eat his body.
That is so not straight edge.
Punk looks more like he's going he Charlie Manson route though, so I think it's moot. Now there was a guy to look up to.

I think they're subtly pushing the limits with this right now, just to see how much they can get away with in the "PG" era.
If we were in the "Attitude" era, he would be shoving crucifixes up Kelly Kelly's naughty bits.

Jesus never won Money in the Bank.
I've always seen the Straight Edge Society as a Ministry of Darkness, only, more PG.
Central religious figure guiding his cult to doing nefarious deeds while preaching his own virtues? Complete with brainwashed followers? I like it.

CM Punk will convert Undertaker's druids at Wrestlemania.
My question is, who will betray the great CM Punk?

He doesn't need people to bow to him. Just have him pull off a Mosses type action where he has a giant stick and promises to part the way to glory from the sea of jobbers/losers.

I'd like for him to use the phrase/term "jobbers and losers" at some point.

Lol this "Punk as jesus" angle is a classic example of WWE trying to push the limits and attempt something attitude again but with enough subtly to save face if the media stands up and says something.
Another is the Triple H vs Booker T racism angle in the build up to wrestlemania 19.

He did it for the real father, who was a junkie who payed the ultimate price for his own sins.
It's a good thing I'm already comfortable in the fact that I'm going to hell.

There is no god, just CM Punk.
What I really want to know is why certain villains like CM Punk and Aj styles during his last heel run seemed to equate villainy with letting their chest hair grow.

Too bad that hell for you will probably be you strapped to a chair and forced to watch the worst of pro-wrestling over and over again, and then forced to say something nice about it.
