It appeared on my computer just before the hard drive died a few months ago, and now it's back again! :(
It appears when I start my computer.
Any help, please??????

Hmm... well whatever the error is, it appears to be happening in some "automated helpdesk software" (the Aveo Attune thingy). I'd hunt down that program for a start, maybe even try uninstalling it...

Yeah, I've been getting runtime errors like that ever since I had Visual Basic 6 (and now VB.NET) on my PC. There is probably some setting to turn it off, but damned if I can find it.

It's a parasite, you can remove it with Spybot or Adaware.
If you run MSCONFIG it's probably set to kick in on start up, you cna uncheck the box (Start-Run-MSCONFIG- the start up tab.
You can check for what is normal and what isn't http://www.windowsstartup.com/wso/browse.php?l=1&start=125&end=150. You can see what's running on startup and remove what you don't need.
