Do we really need a draft every year? For the first time in a while I feel the two roster are quite nicely settled. Sure a few tweaks could be made but I don't think it calls for a full blown draft.

<font color=goldenrod>Since we're back down to two shows, I'm guessing that the draft won't be as enormous as the past three years (where like 25-30 people total got moved around every year).

But, it will happen during a 3-hour Raw...so I'd say they run it like 2004. Just an interpromotional show, but each side gets a set number of picks (think it was 6 picks each in 2004) and it's done through straight lottery throughout the show.

Make the picks a nice mixed bag. The draft annoyed me the past few years because everybody that got drafted on television was either a main eventer or champion, and any mark could tell it wasn't really random. Swap a few big names, but to make it seem more random it would make sense to have a lower card guy like Evan Bourne get moved on TV. I also would try to keep from moving anybody that switched shows during last year's draft, again...helps with the randomness, a lot of last year's draft picks were also drafted in 2008.

They can move more than just 6 guys though...have some sort of "trade window" so they can move a few job guys just to jazz up the rosters a little more.</font>

<font color=goldenrod>Yeah, I definitely want to see Edge and Christian on the same show, regardless of which show it is. Although, I wouldn't move Edge to Raw without SmackDown getting another legit main event face in return, and really the only choices for that would be Cena or Orton (if they do go the "badass babyface" route with him).

Actually, outside of HBK and Taker (who will both be taking time off) and technically Kung Fu Naki,, I believe Cena and Edge have the longest tenure on their respective shows. It wouldn't be completely out of the question to swap them and really freshen the feel of both shows...especially since Cena was on tap to move in 2008 before Triple H decided he'd rather move instead cause it worked better for his family schedule.</font>
