This. I think that the spot was good, and the bruising helped sell the pain. He was going for the 'this is my first chance to impress the WWE universe, so I have to fight through the pain' look. I didn't have a problem with him no selling the spot cause he was trying to feed off the moment.

First, are you kidding, that entire show was about him, whether he got beat down or not he just got an hour of national television deticated to him.

Second, yes, if he did work a tokyo dome show it was at about 1/3 its capacity as NJPW and NOAH have not been able to fill the thing in a long time.
