I kind of want to buy it on pc just to play with you and tear people up.

RP 11-21-2017 12:41 PM

Do it. I'm trying to get out of bronze. Think i'm just gonna play Reignhart

RP 11-21-2017 12:42 PM

It's probably 50% off btw.

RP 11-21-2017 12:42 PM

RP 11-22-2017 02:07 PM

My season rank is 931 now. It's been bad. I'm about to take a few days off and just practice against AI's with another hero.

Fignuts 11-22-2017 02:18 PM

That might not be a great idea. Get used to fighting A.I., you could fall into a playstyle that is disasterous against real players. Same reason people don't practice against A.I. in fighting games.

Fignuts 11-22-2017 02:20 PM

I would advise playing quickplay instead. No stakes, but you can still practice against actual people.

RP 11-22-2017 02:24 PM

I'm not terrible with Reaper. Been dabbling. I get the hero mechanics. I might try him some. I just had 24 kills in a match, but my team still lost badly.

This 100%. Just play 1 character over and ove4 until you are a beast with that character.

Kalyx triaD 11-22-2017 07:02 PM

The two things I will give to AI practice is you can learn how to manage cooldowns and learn burst damage approaches with certain characters.

Certain Defense and Support heroes can only be learned against real players, tho. Since they require a sense of 'reading' enemies and teammates alike. Healers are especially a big responsibility that requires lots of overseeing.

Ruien 11-22-2017 07:11 PM

Depending how much I spend tomorrow RP I will buy this on pc to play with you. We will wreck shit all day.

RP 11-23-2017 04:32 PM

Fuck this game!. I really believe the best players team up from day one to get out of Bronze and Gold. They have to. There is no way a great player plays single player up through the ranks. It's not fucking possible. I mean, I watched so many videos i've taken so many tips. There are motherfucking players in the Bronze rank that are motherfucking mindless. They dont give fuck. They move foward, press attack and that is that. It is insane. I'm sitting here trying to bring a team together, but these fucking assholes dont give a shit. So ya. Those top players... well they are top players cause they had a crew to level up with from the get go. Not one of those assholes tried to level up from the start, by themselves. I gurantee that. I'd love to see those guys do that though. I would be impressed if they could. Down here in Bronze, is a fucking dumpster fire.

Destor 11-23-2017 04:40 PM

Get good, son

Ruien 11-23-2017 04:56 PM

Ya, I can't imagine 95% of the people in bronze care.

Fignuts 11-23-2017 05:07 PM

Thought silver was bad. Couldn't imagine bronze.

Ruien 11-23-2017 05:47 PM

Silver is soooo bad. Gold is ehhh bad. Even low platinum has crap players that don't contribute to the team.

Loved Overwatch so much more when I was high plat/low diamond.

Fignuts 11-23-2017 06:10 PM

Yeah I havn't seen much of a skill gap between mid gold and low diamond.

Ruien 11-23-2017 06:16 PM

Nice, you made diamond? Last I heard you were almost at platinum.

Not so much skill level but team cooperation is different.

Fignuts 11-23-2017 06:44 PM

No but I played with a group of players that included a couple low diamonds, and we often played against a couple diamonds. In that time, I saw the same ineptitudes that I do from gold players.

Ruien 11-23-2017 06:46 PM

Ah. Ya. Skill level is basically the same. Usually Hanzo and Widow mains seem to be better. It just seems everyone wants to win the games instead of seeing how many people they can blow up.

RP 11-24-2017 01:13 PM

I'm fucking pulling myself out of Bronze. I'm fucking going to do it.

Ruien 11-24-2017 01:45 PM

I still say play like 10 hours of Mei in quick play and just destroy everyone after that.

RP 11-24-2017 01:46 PM

First game got a win. 28 kills with reaper. 56% kill participation

Ruien 11-24-2017 01:46 PM

She is the ultimate threat on into carry any comp. Can be utilized as a tank, short or long range dps, or assassinate the other teams healer from behind.

RP 11-24-2017 01:47 PM

I'm gonna do some practice with her today

RP 11-24-2017 01:50 PM

Here's my stats in all competitive seasons.

Soldier 76 - 65 games played, 33% win percentage
Reinhardt - 8 games played, 49% win percentage
Reaper - 11 games played, 35% win percentage

I'm actually really good with Reinhardt on certain maps or games. But not good enough to play him every map. There are some where i get outright destroyed and have no idea what i'm doing. If i can get on point and protect, i'm super good with him.

RP 11-24-2017 01:53 PM

I have 30% weapon accuracy with Soldier. Thats not good. I feel like i was blocking better Soldiers.

RP 11-24-2017 02:16 PM

2-0 today boyz!!!

Ruien 11-24-2017 02:19 PM

Hell Ya! Keep it up.

RP 11-24-2017 02:34 PM

3-0.. The rally is on

Ruien 11-24-2017 02:46 PM

What character are you using?

RP 11-24-2017 03:19 PM

3-1 now. Using Reaper

Kalyx triaD 11-24-2017 03:42 PM

30% accuracy with an assault weapon is not bad. The few that hit needs to be chest and up. 30% with a slow RoF weapon would be an issue.

RP 11-24-2017 08:19 PM

4-1 today so far. Slowly but surely

RP 11-24-2017 08:27 PM

RP 11-24-2017 09:07 PM

and then 2 straight games of my team purposley throwing the game. Love this game.

Fignuts 11-24-2017 09:59 PM

Who was mcree expecting to hit from the bottom of the stairs?

RP 11-24-2017 10:09 PM

I think it was Reaper, but still ya.

RP 11-24-2017 11:07 PM

RIP

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/_qT51BWefE0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

RP 11-25-2017 12:22 AM

So fucking AIDS this game is at Bronze

Kalyx triaD 11-25-2017 01:31 AM

- You can move during Death Blossom
- It seems nerve wracking but close the gap a bit more before you unload on them as Reaper. Up close he can ghost your ass in three good shots.

RP 11-25-2017 03:44 PM

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/kK7AgZDxpYc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

RP 11-25-2017 10:31 PM

Some of these chicks that voice Overwatch are hot as fuck. I'm in love with Sombra.

Kalyx triaD 11-26-2017 12:03 AM

Not brown enough.

RP 11-26-2017 12:20 AM

Getting out of Bronze is not possible. It's a serious issue that i have no idea how they can address.

RP 11-26-2017 12:21 AM

I'm playing the best i can and i'm headed to 600 SR now. I cant do anything about terrible players that mindlessly press buttons. I real all this shit about just doing my job and I will rank up, but its bullshit. It's not possible at all.

Kalyx triaD 11-26-2017 04:12 AM

Gotta party up.

Ruien 11-26-2017 08:35 AM

600? Holy shit.

RP 11-26-2017 04:24 PM

I've fought back to 834. 50% win percentage with Reaper, 34 games played.

RP 11-26-2017 10:14 PM

I officially quit this game. Good luck folks

Fignuts 11-26-2017 10:19 PM

lol

Overwatch: The Chronicles of RP was a resounding success, I'd say.

RP 11-26-2017 10:27 PM

Made it back to 877 and then lost 4 games because people are just fucking autistic. It's impossible to get out of bronze by yourself. No doubt. I was up to a 53% win percentage with Reaper and then just lost one after another. Not worth my time. I almost tossed my laptop at the wall a few times. Thats when i know i gotta walk away from the game.

Fignuts 11-26-2017 10:30 PM

My rule is that after 3 consecutive losses, I turn it off.

Learned that the hard way. After getting 40 points away from Platinum, I went on a ten game losing streak despite getting multiple golds in every game, and generally being a beast.

Ruien 11-26-2017 10:39 PM

RP, you really needed to learn Mei really well and carry teams. :(

Kalyx triaD 11-26-2017 10:43 PM

RP went from wide eyed idealistic to grumpy old man ranting about scrubs in like a month.

Ruien 11-26-2017 11:00 PM

I do feel him. I was in ELO hell way back when in Lo L when they first brought out a ranking system. No matter what I did it was impossible to get out of it.

Ruien 12-01-2017 01:07 AM

Decided to do my placement games tonight. 3112 ranking now. WOOOOO.

Ruien 12-01-2017 01:08 AM

Maybe I will do the grind to the next level ranking crap. It's at 3500 right?

Ruien 12-01-2017 01:20 AM

Isn't the next rank called like master or something cool like that? Feels weird but I feel like I can honestly make it to the top 5%. Diamond is like top 15% of players right? Always been above average on whatever game I am playing but never this good with such ease.

Ruien 12-02-2017 08:37 AM

Played 1 more game and lose 44 points. Lol, f that.

Fignuts 12-02-2017 06:51 PM

Went on a 5 game winning streak last night, and then lost 4. Kill me.

Fignuts 12-02-2017 06:53 PM

It's like they see you doing well and then automatically pair you with people who have difficulty operating a toaster.

Ruien 12-02-2017 07:15 PM

Haha ya. I so feel the same way. It's super rare I will go 1 and 1 and 1 and 1. It's all about streaks. Losing like 5 in the row is the worse feeling ever. I get sooooooo damn angry.

Fignuts 12-03-2017 02:05 AM

lol 70% kill participation with D-Va.

We lost.

Fignuts 12-03-2017 04:10 AM

God damn, playing rocket League makes me not even want to bother with this, because I just have so much more fun.

Was 2-1 in overwatch, when I saw Heisenberg playing Rocket League, so I joined him instead. We proceeded to Braun Fucking Strowman the competition all night, going something like 10-2. Couple times we tied it with seconds left and went on to win. Felt soooooooooo good.

Fignuts 12-03-2017 04:13 AM

Ya'll need to seriously jump on that game if you haven't, because some of the most fun gaming I've had the last few years has been playing rocket league with Heisenberg and his friends. Even playing solo is more fun than most stuff out there.

Fignuts 12-04-2017 05:18 AM

Someone please explain something to me.

Me and Kalyx are playing on Volskaya Industries. The other team takes both points.

We then managed to capture both points ourselves.

First tie breaker round, we're on attack again, and we take both points.

We're on defense, and they only take one point.

It's declared a draw.

WHAT?

We took 2 points, they took one. How, by any definition is that a draw?

Fignuts 12-04-2017 05:24 AM

I am especially pissed because I put in work.

And I mean WOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRK

4 of our team mates were suffering the side effects of their apparently recent lobotomies, and Kalyx was on healing duty, so it was up to me to lay down the damage, and boyyyyy fucking howdy did I ever.

44 kills just from the attack and overtime (I was heals on D) multiple play of the game worthy multi kills, 6 environmental kills 2 of which were Ult shutdowns, and 4 god damn gold medals.

Christ this fucking game.

Fignuts 12-04-2017 05:25 AM

I normally don't mind a draw or even a loss, when it's a really close game like that, but WE FUCKING WON THAT GAME.

Fignuts 12-04-2017 05:26 AM

Actually, I should be honest. I do mind a draw or a loss in a close game when it's clearly me and another person carrying the short bus candidates through an entire match.

Ruien 12-04-2017 07:51 AM

Whow..... That really sucks.

One time I was on attack on Hollywood and the entire team ended up leaving before it was done. So we brought it to the point and then the game was considered a draw. Made no sense.

Kalyx triaD 12-04-2017 08:02 AM

My thing is, if it's gonna be a draw even they fail...

Why the fuck did we even have the game? Could have been a draw on our last win. UNLESS: The game would have dealt us a loss if we didn't stop them.

Ruien 12-04-2017 08:22 AM

Do you guys play often? I would like to jump in if possible.

Kalyx triaD 12-04-2017 08:41 AM

Nothing regular but a few late nights a week.

Fignuts 12-04-2017 07:46 PM

We're on xbox though, not PC.

Though I also have it on ps4.

Ruien 12-04-2017 08:58 PM

I use XBox. RP is the pc user.

When I was a newbie I actually played a few games with you Figgy when I was with Heisenberg. I was super concentrating though because I was terrible so I barely said anything.

Fignuts 12-04-2017 09:24 PM

Oh well GT is Fignuts82.

Heisenberg and them still occasionally play, but not nearly as much as before.

Doubt you'll be able to do comp with any of us, as you're SR is likely much higher. I'm hovering around 2300 at the moment, and I'm higher than anyone else.

Kalyx triaD 12-04-2017 09:26 PM

Been in 1890-1950 hell for one. Month.

Fignuts 12-04-2017 09:26 PM

Kalyx is one win away from gold. Will probably put him at 1999, and then he'll go on a 5 game losing streak lol

Ruien 12-04-2017 09:27 PM

Haha that is how Overwatch rolls.

Kalyx triaD 12-04-2017 10:02 PM

I have absolutely no confidence in strangers. Major trust issues, especially if somebody was forced to go support or tank. If you have to tell them; just pick it yourself. Filling a role and 'playing a role' are two different things.

Kalyx triaD 12-04-2017 10:04 PM

You're in a fox hole and you gotta reload, who do you want watching your back; the guy who enlisted cause his father was a soldier and loves the flag and has a Steve Rogers tattoo, or the guy who needed to pay some loans so like, whatevs bro.

Fignuts 12-04-2017 11:19 PM

Me and Kalyx are on right now if you want to jump in

Fignuts 12-05-2017 06:38 AM

lol lost like 200 SR today.

Think I'm just going to one trick Mercy on PS4, since I'm very good at keeping my team alive, and leave the xbox as a practice game, when friends are on.

I've been playing fill in, and doing my job, but I'm just not climbing that way.

Fignuts 12-05-2017 06:41 AM

Need to find girls to play with.

Every time there is a girl on the team, we win.

Fignuts 12-05-2017 06:46 AM

On a lighter note, on Illios a roadhog got a hook on my pharah at the start of one game, and tea bagged me, so I twatted him into the big giant hole 4 times, including right after he activated his ult.

So that was therapeutic

Fignuts 12-16-2017 02:20 AM

So I'm into Videogame art books, and have collected quite a few, but holy shit, the new Overwatch art book might be my favorite ever.

First off, at 367 pages, it's fucking huge. Like Mega Man Complete, my previous favorite, it has commentary on almost every page, on the design process, and the evolution of the characters, stages, and other game elements.

They have entire sections dedicated to the heroes, stages, skins, sprays, icons, and even all the animated shorts. And a literal FUCKTON of art through out.

If you have any interest in the art behind the game or the story behind the scenes, then pick it up. It's 50 bucks which seems steep, but once you see the sheer amount of content and the quality of it, it feels like a steal.

Fignuts 12-18-2017 04:26 AM

Moira's death ball auto targets sym turrets now.

So Symmetra just got way less effective.

Kalyx triaD 12-18-2017 11:10 AM

I'd be fine with only 4 turrents max if they got a health buff. 20hp each.

Oh hell yes....other than Winston, there was really no safe way to take those out from certain angles.

Ruien 12-24-2017 08:57 AM

So I been doing quick play now just to mess around. It seems I am facing diamond players or masters in every match. Does my ranking effect who I am paired against in quick play?

No, but your overall matchmaking level will.

Ruien 12-26-2017 09:58 AM

Started playing Hanzo. Love this dude. I am not that good atm. Hit about 15 to 20% usually right now.

Ruien 12-29-2017 01:05 PM

Getting better with Hanzo. Not good enough to play ranked unless I go back down to gold which I kind of want to do now. Want to play serious games with him now but would feel bad making h8gher ranked people to lose due to my badness.

Fignuts 12-29-2017 04:27 PM

I do well with Widow in quick play, but I don't want to deal with the instant toxicity you get, as soon as you pick a sniper in comp.

Kalyx triaD 12-29-2017 04:52 PM

STOP THROWING

Ruien 12-29-2017 09:35 PM

Doing okay in off season ranked matches. I have some really good and bad games as Hanzo. Really no medium.

Ruien 12-31-2017 09:42 PM

Going to do 1 placement game with Hanzo. Will prpbably lose so bad I will be sent to silver.

Ruien 12-31-2017 10:44 PM

Was with a 3 man group. I had gold damage and then was asked to switched. They asked nicely so I went Mei. Then they talk about how good one of their people is because he has gold damage. Fuxk that.

Hanzo ftw!

Fignuts 01-03-2018 06:22 AM

Up 110 SR tonight. Was fucking killing it, no matter what role I was playing. Me and Alvy were practically carrying some of these teams to victory.

Going to aim small, and try and increase my SR by 50 per night. Once I get there, shut the game off, leave it for the next day. Lose 3 in a row, shut it off for the next day.

See how far I can climb using that method.
