Was a pretty good match but I didn't see it taking the turn it did. Restated twice after double count outs by both guys and Aries eventually resorted to a low blow as the ref called for the match to restart. Don't think this fued is over by any means and can get alot more interesting. Looking forward to this next set of tapings and Slammiversary.

Agree Tessa just looks like so much more of a bad ass than the rest the Knockouts. They've done a great job with Allie but she's still clumsy looking in the ring in my opinion.

Impact just taped 4 weeks of T.V in my city this past weekend. I normally go to our local shows, but I'm going away on vacation next week so my gf was not too keen on me spending this past weekend watching wrestling. A ton of my friends went and they all said it was a fantastic group of shows. D'Amore's local indie fed as I've previously mentioned is in our city, so they've been partnering on shows.
Keep as eye out for Aiden Prince. He's a local guy who had a match against Aries. Great match from what I've heard. |

I think it looked like two guys who had no idea how to fight. I mean what the hell were they doing? Rolling around grabbing leaves swinging their arms about and grunting in some kind of Cactus Jack ripoff. I don't think there was one believable punch the whole scene. Also I've seen Tommy Dreamer get up from much worse than a bullshit shot to the fat gut with handle of a baseball bat. Yeah I don't like the mixing of "episodic" tv like this. It is cool for Lucha Underground because that whole promotion is a gimmick but for Impact, this was bad. Eddie Edwards just constantly making noises as if he was Jack Torrence from The Shining... I get that it's a blood feud but that doesn't make it great.

In my opinion it was better than the Broken Hardy stuff and I loved that. I don't mind the mixing of episodic TV style with wrestling, it brings something different to the show and I know I didn't look away any during the segment. It served its purpose good or bad though and this fued might not ever end.

It's worked out pretty well for them, not sure what they'd need to be ashamed of. Better hold on to your puke bucket because I don't see it ending anytime soon. The evolution of Eddie Edwards has been great and probably the most entertaining he's ever been outside the ring.

Currently watching the latest episode of Impact... I've made it to the second hour! Thoughts so far... Don Callis and Josh Matthews are really good together, much better than with Kevin Kelly or Elijah Burke/JB. Dreamer is always great but Eddie Edwards is fucking horrible. I love Eddie Kingston so I was down with his segment with LAX. I also like Eli Drake and Moose a lot.

I like that they showed one of the best matches ever, but it was kind of weird because it was with three guys who don't work there and two who work for WWE. I really like them showing a match "courtesy of HOH" that is cool.

I'll watch this weeks episode at some point this weekend, maybe tonight. I enjoyed last weeks. Impact of right now doesn't really have that bad TNA itch anymore it seems.

I think I preferred Impact last week to Lucha Underground actually. However I did watch an Impact special that was taped in a very small studio/gym and a very indy style cheap production/camera operation. I didn't like that show. It was shot kind of like MLW but much tighter on the steady cam and not at as pretty. MLW does very well with the small buildings and not making you feel too rinky dink watching it.

This weeks episode wrapped up the last bit of tapings in Orlando and next week will be the newest one they filmed in Canada a few weeks ago.

Reported to be a short term contract up at the end July so it might just be for Slammiversary and the succeeding tapings.

Agree, they have no cornerstone tag team which is something they've always had. Never liked the pairing of Z&E and also think Konley is better than being in Cult of Lee. Need some legitimate tag teams in the division other than LAX and OVE.

I liked Konley in Paragon Pro and other indie shows, I think he's better with Trevor because he'd fall into that "generic X Division guy" mold if he was a singles wrestler OVE can do things in the ring and take bumps that I can never do, and for some reason I dig the one Crist brother wrestling in more or less a 3 piece suit I was skeptical of the new LAX, but they can really work a crowd as both heels and faces Z&E are a solid team. Both are young, good looking guys who can do some crazy athletic stuff and that can always get a babyface pop. I guess the one thing I see missing would be that "powerhouse" style tag team. I think something more along the lines of Sheamus and Cesaro or War Raiders would be a good fit considering the other teams as opposed to a "LOD" unbumpable monsters style team. A team that has size and can pull off some feats of strength, but can still bust out some athletic spots or take arm drags smoothly |

Good, Impact needs to lock in some solid key players for the next several years. I would hunt down Brian Cage next and try and get him a solid deal that prevents him from signing with WWE but able to work anywhere else.

Yeah, seen its now being reported as long term. Don't think he worked the Slammiversary lead up tapings so I don't think there is any thing on the table for him at there at the moment. It being Slammiversary though I'd like to see him challenge Aldis for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
