Submarine/Diving Bell in MP would be fun. Guy is underwater, you snipe through the glass from the shore and he's screwed.

I'd just enjoy scuba diving with you guys and exploring the depths.

Until someone attracts a shark and gets us all eviscerated. I can already picture the scene of everyone swimming for their lives in different directions while one guy gets attacked.

Therein lies the fun.

It hasn't been completely ruled out for the Wii U but considering GTA's release history, probably wouldn't show up until 6 months or so after the PS3 and Xbox 360 version.

I still think this will end up being a "next gen" game. MS will reveal the next Xbox in April (they're supposed to be having a Sony style conference, if I recall) and then R* will reveal that GTA V is actually headed to PS4 and Xbox3.

Also, did anyone notices the CCTV camera to the left of the telephone pole in the last screenshot? Maybe places will have actual security systems?
This might mean cops don't magically know you killed someone and magically know where you are. So maybe a witness needs to inform them or CCTV has to catch it. Though, I admit, I may be reading too much into it.

There was supposed to be something in GTAIV about witnesses using their cell phones to call in rampages you go on. It was in the Microsoft Retail Rewards class. Didn't really notice it during the game.

I hope not. It should be like what San Andreas was for Ps2/XBOX: a good-bye game for the consoles.

RDR had witnesses who had to run to the sheriff before you got a wanted level.
I did see people using cell phones to call cops once or twice in IV but you still got a wanted level, even if they didn't.

V has never had it's consoles formally announced, has it? The trailers never had any shown at the end.
The game was due out in the early part of this year but has been held back until later, when we'll like see the new consoles arrive. I'm sure other big titles have been moved to September too.
Plus it just looks so ambitious for current consoles. I think it was intended to be current gen but they got told about the next consoles and shifted it to them.

I don't see anything in GTAV that's beyond PS3 and XB360. It looks amazing, yes, but not 'welcome to the fucking future' amazing. Everything I've seen of the game is well within the current gen's scope.

Mmmm I think they'll do a next gen version. It'll be able to play fine on a PS3 or 360. But after looking at the difference between playing PC games on Ultra and then seeing 360 versions. It's ridiculous.

Had a love/hate relationship with those witnesses. Loved to chase them down, but some of them beat me to the chase.

I hope the country side isn't as big as it was last time.

I think it'll be bigger. They keep saying it's their biggest map yet and that Los Santos is the only main city. So, in between any smaller towns, they will have countryside.
On the plus side, with animals and, hopefully, RDR style encounters, it shouldn't be boring.

Yeah I would like to see the country side between the cities instead of off to the left where you wouldn't really go unless you had too.

I'm sure there was a screenshot or a scene in a trailer that showed you the view from a plane or something and all you can see for miles and miles is desert. Not a single building or sign of civilization.

There is also a shot, somewhere, of the city and you can see far into the distance, a large bridge and then what looks to be more of the city in the far distance.
So I think it's a safe bet that, when they say big, they mean BIG.

THis is only a good thing if there are things to do in both the city and the countryside. A single BMX race through the countryside wouldn't count.

I have to disagree, what I loved about San Andreas was the areas in between you could just have a nice drive through which were less busy. The races through these areas were simple as well since you didn't have to deal with ridiculous traffic. You could easily bypass them with aircraft as well.

It depends how big the desert area is. There IS desert because we've seen it in screens/trailers but, so far, it's just been sand as far as you can see.

Easter Eggs are likely, I'd say. If they can find a way to put a RDR easter egg into LA Noire, I'm sure they can find a way of squeezing one into GTA V.

One of my best memories of San Andreas is going out to the airport boneyard and doing the pilot training missions. Good times. :)

I remember seeing the ads on TV for San Andreas a few years after I got satellite TV in my youth. It would play I think during Monday Night Raw and I anticipated the hell out of it. I had to wait til the following Christmas since a PS2 and a few games was a large gift. Got it and I spent probably a good 15 hours exploring just Los Santos.

I am frightened how much time I am going to spend just looking around before I actually start playing the game.

Wonder how many stars it will be for flying out of bounds soon as possible to explore lol.
