Skippord 04-12-2010 04:23 PM

TULOWITZKI WITH A CYCLE!!!!

DaveWadding 04-12-2010 04:27 PM

lol Dugh Davis is awful. So glad that bum is gone.

RP 04-12-2010 05:27 PM

A sweep of the Brew Crew would do alot for team morale

God i hope Marmol doesnt melt down

btw, i love Byrd and I think Randy Wells is the Cubs ace and a Cy Young canadate this year.

DaveWadding 04-12-2010 05:45 PM

I  Byrd so far too. really like the Zambo-Lilly-Wells frontline (when Lilly gets healthy). Marmol is ridiculously inconsistent and has driven me nuts forever.

RP 04-12-2010 06:11 PM

wtf theriot?

RP 04-12-2010 06:18 PM

The Carlos Marmol Circus

RP 04-12-2010 06:21 PM

Woooo

Droford 04-12-2010 08:01 PM

Lets see if the Os can manage to lose tonight in some dumb fashion.

Droford 04-12-2010 08:21 PM

Pie lead off with a HR.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY CRAPPY ORIOLES?

Boomer 04-12-2010 09:06 PM

The Braves are fucking unwatchable. Jesus. Can I get a good game, please? And our pitching had been (mostly) amazing to this point.

Evil Vito 04-12-2010 09:09 PM

lol @ this sign in the stalls of Target Field bathrooms

Droford 04-12-2010 11:04 PM

The os are now 1-6. 20 runs in 7 games, 6 of which came in 1 game. Awful.

OssMan 04-12-2010 11:10 PM

9,129 people at Camden Yards tonight.

:(

Droford 04-12-2010 11:12 PM

they might get a few more tomorrow night for Orange Jesus T Shirt night but they'll probably all take the shirt and leave.

Who can blame Oriole fans for not even bothering?

Also, we're in a recession.

Skippord 04-12-2010 11:52 PM

Probably going to go to the Rox/Mets game tomorrow

The Os are in an offensive recession as well.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-13-2010 01:48 AM

Marlins drew 10,119 tonight and they're not even terrible.

Droford 04-13-2010 01:56 AM

Yeah, but they have huge fights in the stands, so its cool.

DaveWadding 04-13-2010 12:59 PM

Mariners manager Don Wakamatsu had a closed-door meeting Monday with outfielder Milton Bradley.
Bradley is 1-for-22 on the season and displayed his middle finger to fans in Texas on Friday after being taunted.

oh Money Milton :nono:

ClockShot 04-13-2010 01:49 PM

I went to 3 Red Sox/Orioles games one weekend in 2008 and the Sox fans outnumbered the O's fans about 3 to 1. One really obnoxious O's fan had to be careful leaving the game haha.

DAMN iNATOR 04-13-2010 04:33 PM

FUCK YES! Detroit was down 5-0 earlier, now leading 6-5, end 7th.

DAMN iNATOR 04-13-2010 04:41 PM

Also, just heard this yesterday on WGN while trying to find the episode of "Cheers" that was coming up (Cubs had just wrapped up a win). First time ever hearing it, and even though I'm not really a fan of the Cubs, it IS an awesome song.

DaveWadding 04-13-2010 04:42 PM

Shut the fuck up.

DaveWadding 04-13-2010 04:42 PM

Advertisement for Larry Flynt's Hustler Casino in LA on the Dodgers broadcast. Classy!

That shit sucks

Innovator 04-13-2010 04:50 PM

For those of us not stuck at work, did Matsui get a fair reception his first time up?

RoXer 04-13-2010 04:50 PM

This isn't much better but at least it doesn't suck.

Pretty hilarious to hear Candiotti & Grace on the Dodgers pregame being skeptical when on the home broadcast they are much different. Grace said that Webb won't be back til the break in his opinion and will only be 70% of his old self.

DaveWadding 04-13-2010 05:11 PM

Finally, Vin Scully calling the Dodgers.

Didn't see his first time up but when they were giving out the rings he got a pretty huge ovation. They announced him last to go get his ring and after he did the whole Yankees team ran up to him and shook his hand/hugged him and all that stuff.

Apparently they gave Matsui an old rusted ring at first though as a joke. Girardi ran up after and gave him the real one. Think they did the same thing with Swisher.

Skippord 04-13-2010 05:29 PM

that cubs song might be the gayest thing I've ever heard

DaveWadding 04-13-2010 05:31 PM

Shut up Skippord, you are gay.

Skippord 04-13-2010 05:32 PM

As gay as I am, that song is way gayer.

DaveWadding 04-13-2010 05:33 PM

you're just mad the Rockies don't have an awesome song.

McLegend 04-13-2010 05:35 PM

They have Roctober though.
