Spent the whole of Rock's segment just thinking how ludicrous it was to close a wrestling show. Don't get me wrong, it was over for the most part and funny in spots, it just seemed kinda "surreal".
As for Cena, his stuff was fun and the crowd were behind him when he left. Makes you wonder why WWE don't just reintegrate into his fulltime repertoire. |
The Rock Show makes me want The Rock not to wrestle beyond this Wrestlemania. Fake fuck.
|
HBK, that's not ironic.
Don't you think? |
People evolve... John Cena evolved... even Rock evolved his... John Cena going back to what he was would look real fake at this point.
But how did everyone feel about Raw? I think it needed more Roday and Ryder. |
Wish I could have joined you guys last night. Updated my e-mail and I got locked out until now.
So sad. |
I was watching The Rock's concert again, I noticed that his guitar was pretty smashed up at the back when he flipped his guitar as he was picking it up.
I'm guessing it got messed up when he was traveling to Cleveland. http://oi43.tinypic.com/2mgvb4h.jpg |
Are you sure that's damage and not some sort of micing device for the guitar? Looks like something's strapped on with duct tape. I don't know how they normally mic acoustic guitars so I could be completely wrong.

Ziggler vs Sheamus was good, though I'm still not interested in Sheamus at all. :-\ The handicap match served as a good way to continue the GM fued and announce some members. It's quite obvious so far though that we'll see Kofi and R-Truth on Long's team. We'll probably get that announced on SmackDown this week. I'm really not into Long continuing to be an ass towards Big Johnny by constantly shoving him, even though Laurinaitis hasn't really done anything majorly dickish. I'm trying to think of what Laurinaitis has done that's dickish towards Long in some way (Not counting the sudden handicap match last night) and all I can think of, is him making a match between himself and Long on SmackDown with the Kane/Aksana stipulation. But if that's it, then he's not really being a dick seeing as he was the GM for the night, so he could make any match and stipulation he wanted to. Long on the other hand, is the one being unfair and a dick, in my opinion. It was nice to see Brodus Clay back though, and I like the tweek they've made to his gimmick. An all dancing and smiling man who becomes a man who'll fuck you up once the bell rings. It's like a mix between Rikishi and Festus. I'm not sure where the whole Ryder/Eve thing is going. But I just hope it doesn't lead to seeing Kelly Kelly at WrestleMania, even though it's really looking like it will. The Undertaker/HBK segment was good. I enjoyed that. The crowd really need to stop with the "What?" chants though, and I don't watch Psych, so the amount of "Roday" on Raw was fine with me. Personally, The Rock's karaoke thing at the end, wasn't great, but it also wasn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. I've read some people describing it as being "the drizzling shits", which I think it's really over exaggerating, but each to their own I guess. So yeah, I found Raw to be really good this week. :y: |

Also, I can't see any wires for a mic of some sort but if that is duct tape, then whoever taped the device to the guitar did a really shit job of it. It's a mess. |
Got a laugh out of the rock concert, Cena's rap wasn't bad either. Rest of the show was meh.
|
Jericho came across as a guy willing to do whatever to get the upper hand on Punk. Great stuff.
|
Cena was fantastic tonight, HBK-Taker segment was fantastic, Jericho is a cold motherfucker. Decent show.
Rock was fucking terrible and awkward, Clay looks even worse somehow. Best promo of the night, however? Law Offices of David Otunga. Just pure awesome. |
I enjoyed the parts I saw last night, Rock Concert was great some parts, ackward and forced imo at others. As for the Otunga's Law Office promo, that was actually hilarious and awesome.
|
Majority of crowd boos Cena (who sucks) and cheers Rock (who is one of the greatest of all time). Dispute this please.
Also, tell me what is so good about Cena's stupid promos that isn't about The Rock's. You guys remember what you're watching? Quote:
really really. really? REALLY? really. REALLY? |

If you do not see how Rock is completely superior to John Cena, you are a fucking moron. Cena does not belong in the same sentence. The Rock is an elite, and will go down in history with some of the greatest company you can come up with.
Cena isn't even in the same ball park. Town. World. He's a medium fish in a small pond. He's a mid-carder among jobbers. That's it. The real talent on the current roster is with Ziggler, Punk, and Orton. Those guys could be even bigger if the face of the company weren't so pathetic, and if WWE weren't so inclined to stick with a top babyface who gets booed out of practically every building in America. It's all dumb. I hait you. |

The Rock Concert was great. Cena coming out to his Thuganomics theme and throwback gear was great. Loved the Jericho promo and I was kinda feeling the same way about Taker's mic work...doesn't seem his normal self. April 21st? Really?

Forgot to say this, but I seriously wanted to punch Cole in the face every time he referred to Cena's rap as "Attitudenal".
|
And he did that A LOT.
