Ok, Sakurai has posted the pic of the day. It's a new trophy of a character but it's such a genuine "OMG, WTF!?" that I think he just blew the new character reveal. I'm not going to say who it is yet incase it is the new character and someone reading this doesn't want to know before the reveal.
If you're one of those people, I'd not read anything below here until after the reveals done, incase someone else mentions the character the trophy is of. |

Only one is a character (Robin), the chick is a alt costume for Marth (seemingly), and the last dude may be a Final Smash or Trophy.
So really we got a book worm and Captain Falcon. |

Alt costumes aren't revealed with "[character] joins the fight!" type stills and their own section on the official site. 99% sure she's a separate character.

The last guy didn't get either of those so he's probably just a FS thing for someone. Maybe they summon him or something.

Summons don't have their own Final Smashes and full voice over.

I mean a FE character summons him for their FS. The footage of him had him and one of the other FE characters double teaming someone in a huge fancy combo with lots of special effects.

You think all the situational actions Robin did was a part of a canned summoning? With full voice over? "Character joins the fight" would be for summons but not alts? |
I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.
Lucia and Robin are the only new FE characters revealed today. The scene where Robin was doing that huge combo with the other guy, which I think is called Chrom, was obviously Robins FS and the only canned animation. He summons Chrom, says "Chrom, on my mark!" as an illustration of Chrom flies across the screen. Chrom attacks Captain Falcon while Robin floats around, seemingly doing nothing but probably just firing magic too quickly for me to see. |

Sakurai just confirmed that Lucina is a separate character from Marth and is his clone. Only difference is that she's easier to use.

Nintendo will be holding a Smash Bros 3DS tournament at San Diego Comiccon, which will be live streamed on twitch. The announcement for the tournament also says there will also be "a few surprises". So I'm thinking a reveal of either a character, mode or Limited Edition.

One of Robin's moves was revealed to be a health leecher type move and a first in the Smash Bros series.

3DS version to include a in-game store to purchase trophies for those who have problems trying to unlock some of them. Also was teased the number of trophies for the 3DS and Wii U version is larger than what Brawl had.

Not officially announced yet but there are officially licenced GC pads for Smash Bros. I found them on Amazon.

It should certainly be in rotation, sure, but I don't think they're sending a message or anything. They're pretty much echoing the community response (both sides) to FD and Battlefield.

There is a list of the people working on the 3DS version soundtrack. Some of the games they credit to them is a bit weird. Probably going to have people thinking it's a hint or something.

I want to finish it but the game asks me to strike enemy X from a certain angle but when I move my sword into position the game thinks I'm trying to attack.

Any of you getting this for 3DS? Or just Wii U? Probably not buying a Wii U now but will be playing the shit outta Smash on 3DS |
