last match = losing

GD 08-11-2019 09:17 PM

Remember when Bret Hart made disparaging comments about Rollins?

xrodmuc316 08-11-2019 09:18 PM

I get why Trish retired, was still young, wanted a family, wanted to try outside projects, ect.

Now though, she's had her kids, she can still go, why not come back for a few more years.

She could easily get a lighter schedule with her history. A 3 year part time contract would probably make her more money than the total she made during the 7 years she was full time.

I see no negative to it.

Jordan 08-11-2019 09:18 PM

Bret looks great. Cool that they booked him after the AEW appearance.

Trish managed to be pretty great in it despite the long layoff and lack of ring work in years.

I know it wasnt much of a match but she did wrestle like 9 months ago

Hahaha yes.

Remember when Bret introduced the AEW belt?

Triple A 08-11-2019 09:19 PM

The show's pace has been good so far. Really glad they didn't have like 16 matches

3 matches left

Jordan 08-11-2019 09:19 PM

Whoa WWE putting Becky and Roman on the cover not Becky and Seth, I wonder if Roman ends up Alpha fucking his friends girl.

And for the love of God why can't the WWE Championship close the show.

slik 08-11-2019 09:19 PM

That might have been my favorite match so far tonight

Agreed and stealing that for Twitter!

Droford 08-11-2019 09:23 PM

Orton looks better with hair than bald

Jordan 08-11-2019 09:24 PM

Who is more interesting to leave with the WWE Championship here, Kofi or Orton?

My Final Heaven 08-11-2019 09:25 PM

So who's going to be 1st in line to get their #QUEENOFALLERAS shirt from WWEShop tomorrow morning? Better grab yours before Graves buys them all ;)

Droford 08-11-2019 09:26 PM

Id rather have seen Orton avenge the ass kicking he got from Lesnar at Summerslam than this but its still the one mtch Ive been looking towards tonight

Sepholio 08-11-2019 09:27 PM

Big E turn tonight.

Jordan 08-11-2019 09:27 PM

I think it's good to keep the title on Kofi for a while. He should probably have a program with Shane tbh.

Sepholio 08-11-2019 09:28 PM

Fire in the hole gents.

I would prefer Kofi, but with a fluke rollup to keep this fued going.

The whole 10 years ago backstory seems like it should be bigger than Kofi winning decisively on the first try.

GD 08-11-2019 09:29 PM

Kofi's stupid chants :nono:

slik 08-11-2019 09:29 PM

I predict Randy Orton wins the title tonight

(also I wish this was the main-event!)

I like the title being on Kofi more than I thought I would...…..but. It's been awhile for Orton and I think them riding a "Kofi chasing the old heel Orton to get his title back" storyline as they switch to Fox could be good for ratings.

GD 08-11-2019 09:30 PM

Camera zooming into Kofi's face while he's communicating with Orton

xrodmuc316 08-11-2019 09:31 PM

"Kofi's Stupid, Randy Sucks!"

Canada finally showing up lol

Not counting last week's tag match on RAW since she didn't do anything, she's only wrestled in 4 matches since 2011 and tonight was the only singles match during that time.

That's a good point, next PPV is September 15th. That's when Orton should win the belt. That puts Kofi chasing right in the middle of the Smackdown on Fox debut.

I think Kofi should fluke win tonight, thus not really disproving Randy saying he isn't good enough.

Randy beats Kofi at Clash of Champions for the belt.

Kofi chases to both regain the title, prove Orton wrong, and cement his place at the top of the card, maybe say Survivor Series.

How i'd book it personally.

My Final Heaven 08-11-2019 09:36 PM

Oh shit, if they don't have Bray's puppets pull Finn into a smoking hole in the ring, Kane/Undertaker style, I'm going to be severely dissapointed.

slik 08-11-2019 09:37 PM

I hope this show is a reminder to WWE you don't need 16 matches on a major show.

My favorite modern WrestleMania events have been XXX and 31 - both had a 7 match main card!

Sepholio 08-11-2019 09:38 PM

damn did orton get buster open the hard way? I don't see when he had time to blade.

They should rehire Justin Gabriel to play Ramblin Rabbit

Nexus reuinion

Sepholio 08-11-2019 09:39 PM

yeah gotta be a legit cut, it's barely bleeding at all, clearly accidental

Sepholio 08-11-2019 09:41 PM

The bottom of Kofis boots make me think he is wearing ugly socks.

rez 08-11-2019 09:43 PM

Orton should join the OC

Jordan 08-11-2019 09:43 PM

The match was wrestled at "Orton pace".

slik 08-11-2019 09:44 PM

When will people learn never leap at Orton from the top rope lol

Sepholio 08-11-2019 09:44 PM

Kinda like how he caught his arm in the headlock for that RKO.

Sepholio 08-11-2019 09:45 PM

wtf

Droford 08-11-2019 09:45 PM

lol count out
