Probably got canned again or some shit.

AareDub 05-29-2005 10:39 PM

Hope not, btw

Buzzkill 05-29-2005 11:00 PM

lol god damnit.

Shadow 05-29-2005 11:02 PM

I had Nascar on here. What does that say about Fox?

Innovator 05-29-2005 11:04 PM

Family Guy > WNBA > NASCAR

NASCAR was on in my area, but don't fret, Family Guy and American Dad returns June 6, I believe. All I remember is that Fox says they return in June with new episodes, so yeah, Fox will not get rid of this again.... yet.

Those bastards.

Silent 05-30-2005 06:50 PM

Well, at least I can relax cause I thought I missed it last night. :o

Shaggy 05-30-2005 06:53 PM

I was mad when I found out it wasnt gonna be on but they had Nascar on instead so it was ok. Makes me wait more for another new episode.

Dave Youell 06-02-2005 06:38 PM

Riiight, So fox screwed around with the first lot os eries and canned it because no one watched it. After realising that people actually liked the show, they bring it back and after 4 weeks fuck around with it again! Fucking Morons!

*note to self, destroy Rupert Murdoch*

loopydate 06-02-2005 07:08 PM

I'm sorry, but do you know how many more millions of people watch NASCAR races than "Family Guy" episodes?

I'm not a fan of either, but auto racing has a huge following compared to the small (but loyal) cult of FG fans. Of course they're going to play what gets them higher ratings. Murdoch may be an idiot, but not because of this. This is actually good business.

RGWhat316 06-03-2005 03:52 AM

Yeah, I'm into NASCAR. I wanted to see new Family Guy episodes, but NASCAR's Coke 600 is run every Memorial Day weekend on Sunday night. This year it just happened to conflict with Family Guy and American Dad.

Buzzkill 06-14-2005 12:40 AM

Today's Family Guy

Blew.

Discuss.

Silent 06-14-2005 01:09 AM

Forgot to watch it. :( Tell me what happened

wwe2222 06-14-2005 03:50 PM

i actually thought it was one of the funnier episodes this season

Dark-Slicer Diago 06-14-2005 06:08 PM

Quagmire spears Lorretta

Ninti the Mad 06-14-2005 09:17 PM

I liked it but they are putting way too many movie references nowadays.

American Dad was ROFL though. I guess the golden turd episode is going to be like the chicken fights on Family Guy?

The Miz 06-14-2005 09:32 PM

They are putting in too many obscure references. I'm sure the writers think it's hilarious but everybody who watches it, nah.

Xero 06-14-2005 09:56 PM

I'm personally getting tired of the Star Wars references. The past three or so episodes had them.

Otherwise, it wasn't bad in my opinion.

Hopefully they'll start pulling out new gags instead of relying on previous ones. For example, the chicken fight a few weeks ago.

mitchables 06-14-2005 10:34 PM

So what's the deal (since we haven't got the new Family Guy over here yet)? They've brought it back and it sucks ass?

The Miz 06-14-2005 10:41 PM

Nah they've been good, just not as good as season 3

samichna 06-15-2005 12:11 AM

ROCK LOBSTER

Shaggy 06-15-2005 12:19 AM

I thought it was an ok episode. Not the best by far.

The first simpsons episode of the night was the best out of all the cartoons. Laughed my ass off.....then put it back on.

Which one was that?

I thought Family guy was good

People(3 months ago): We want Family guy!

People (now): Take family guy off the air.

Uh, no.

Just pointing out a little gripe. LITTLE GRIPE.

I still want Family Guy on the air.

Fox 06-15-2005 02:49 AM

It's still a great show, but it seems like they're trying way too hard to force the insanity and randomness. Before, it all kind of flowed together into one giant, 25 minute ball of story and crazy shit. Now it's more cut and dry. Not to mention Stewie's character has been dumbed down to a slow-talking, sarcastic one-liner.

Everything just seems so contrived.

Who is saying that? It was a good episode, but blew in retrospect.

It was a new one I guess where Homer pretends to be the husband of one of Marge's sisters so she can adopt a baby. They fly to China to adopt a little Chinese baby in the end and it was all pretty funny. Im guessing now we have another baby on the show.

No one is griping for it to be Family Guy to go away again. We are all just saying that this episode really wasnt as good as some of the others. Shows always have there bad times.

Savio 06-15-2005 11:54 AM

You all will eat your desert and you will like it!

UmbrellaCorporation 06-15-2005 01:25 PM

I thought this Family Guy was one of the better ones, actually. Mostly due to the Rocky references. :D

yianni 06-15-2005 02:57 PM

Fuck I can't wait for this shit to come out here. :D

Corkscrewed 06-15-2005 04:48 PM

It had its moments. The Lassie spoof was hilarious, and I fell apart during the Star Wars bit. Overall not as solid, but it had some ROFL moments for sure.

And can ANYONE tell me what the "Golden Turd" thing on American Dad was alluding too? No one seems to know. I've sworm I've seen the same lines, camera angles, and mood in some movie before.

It's really irritating!

wwe2222 06-15-2005 05:22 PM

it seems the pacing of family guy has been a little too quick. The earlier seasons seemed to be paced better and flow more smoothly.

I think Seth McFarlane is spreading himself a little thin though doing both family guy and american dad. Both very funny shows, but thats alot of material to come up with week after week.

El Santo 06-15-2005 05:24 PM

I think the episode was a bit slow because it revolved around Cleveland. The guy's good as a side character, but I wasn't exactly clamoring for a whole episode devoted to him.

But yeah... as samichna said...

ROCK LOBSTER

Gonzo 06-15-2005 05:45 PM

I thought it was funny when Peter said, "Ah gay." after the guy started to administer mouth to mouth.

road doggy dogg 06-15-2005 08:36 PM

Yeah the Rock Lobster part was ROFL and a half. omggggg that was brilliant

The Miz 06-15-2005 11:48 PM

Shit I think I missed that bit. Somebody describe it to me.

road doggy dogg 06-16-2005 02:14 AM

Haha right after Cleveland moved in with the Griffons Peter was like "This will cheer you up" (or something), and pulled out an acoustic guitar and played Rock Lobster. I dunno I guess it wasn't "that" funny but it kinda wassss

Fignuts 06-17-2005 05:40 PM

The Peter-Vehicle gags were pretty good, but thats all that really got me laughing. American Dad was better by far. I think the main problem with these new episodes is that they are spending way too much time on the exposition. It's halfway through the show before they even get to the main story.

The Miz 06-21-2005 02:54 AM

Another shitty episode tonight. WOOOO
