It's fucking ridiculous. I think the same thing happened a few years ago with Tampa Bay too.

I was hoping the Sox would win the series 2-1 since I knew Halladay was pitching one of the games. Can somebody get this guy outta the basement? He's fucking nasty

Jesus Shuttlesworth 07-03-2005 06:41 PM

How about this trade. Alan Embree for Roy Halladay.

Embree's 8.05 ERA is real impressive isn't it??

MoRcHeEbA 07-03-2005 07:11 PM

how is he in the basement when his team is only 5 back of your leading team?

RoXer 07-03-2005 07:28 PM

A's took 2 of 3 from the ChiSox.

When maybe not the basement because the Devil Rays suck but they will be pretty close by seasons end.

And has Halladay once pitched for one season? Where did they finish up last year when he was pitching nasty? Like I said get this guy on a contender. I feel bad for him.

MoRcHeEbA 07-04-2005 02:14 PM

he was injured half the year last year :p and in the next couple years the jays will contend. Once they get rid of Hinske and his 260 strike outs per year.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 07-04-2005 02:19 PM

Alan Embree (and his 8.05 ERA) for Roy Halladay

Boomer 07-04-2005 02:28 PM

The Braves got rid of J.D. Drew before yet another freak injury. We sure could use him though.

Loose Cannon 07-04-2005 02:47 PM

well, here we go. Right on schedule for the Yankees pitching staff to blow another game.

Loose Cannon 07-04-2005 02:48 PM

I mean, can we get at least one decent pitcher. That's all I'm asking.

Boomer 07-04-2005 03:03 PM

We'll give you Dan Kolb for free.

Or throw in Gary Sheffield. You bunch of thieves. :(

Nice job Yankee pitching

Loose Cannon 07-04-2005 04:15 PM

god dammit. fuck. again. screw this shit. They need to start unloading a bunch of these "all star" guys and trade them for young pitchers and players that are good. They can't go through the next 4 years like this.

Boomer 07-04-2005 04:16 PM

As long as The Boss is The Boss, he can blame it on everyone else.

We need Billy Bean to take charge right now.

The Outlaw 07-04-2005 04:20 PM

lol

Boomer 07-04-2005 04:21 PM

I swear if the Natspos win another one run game I'm gonna be really pissed off.

The Miz 07-04-2005 04:29 PM

Check out some of the younger players the Yankees would've had had they not traded them away for players past their prime

Alfonso Soriano
Jose Contreras
Marcus Thames
Brandon Claussen
Yhency Brazoban
Jeff Weaver
Nick Johnson
Juan Rivera
Ted Lilly
D'Angelo Jiminez

Not that all of these guys are much better than whats on the field right now, but the Yanks could sure use a few of them right now

The Miz 07-04-2005 04:30 PM

I was just thinking about it, and the Kevin Brown trade was like the worst trade ever

Boomer 07-04-2005 04:39 PM

HAVE IT NATSSSSSS
