Extreme Angle 08-30-2008 04:14 PM

What do the people who work there do, just give you discy? and with the discy use credit?

I'm using my gamestation credit on Viva Pinata: TIP next week :D

Disturbed316 08-31-2008 04:47 PM

Higher value trade in prices and "mates rates" on the rrp.

Disturbed316 09-07-2008 03:44 PM

Fancy wacking the crap out of Angle? Try this TNA endorsed flash game:

http://www.angerangle.com/

ozzman6669 09-09-2008 11:44 AM

I was about to buy it but with all the shitty review I think I will wait for smackdown!!

ozzman6669 09-10-2008 06:00 PM

So I decided to buy and it was a bad idea, this game suck, the only good thing about this game is the way it look, the graphics are great but thats all!!!!

#BROKEN Hasney 09-10-2008 06:02 PM

I like the control-scheme and Ultimate X. Everything else, not so much.

......What the shit was that? You beat Kurt Angle up for a few seconds with a 2x4 and then he gets mad and hugs you?

ozzman6669 09-10-2008 08:06 PM

The more i'm playing this shit the more I hate it, there supose to have 8 grapple but every way I try I only found the way to do 4-5 moves, your move change depends if your to the left or right of your opponent, everybody do the same move, in Quebec they change West and Tenay for french commentary that are even worse, I got to read the manual in english cause I don't even understand the translation they made of it.

This shit is only good to wait for smackdown!!!!!

Kenny 09-10-2008 08:31 PM

I got the PS2 version, and there's a lot missing.

There is NO online.

There is NO CAW. When you play story mode you can pick your new name and that's about it. Suicide is just given a new full body costume, which is a pretty cool costume but it doesn't make up for anything. Your finishing move consists of you spinning around your opponent twice, before ending up in a power bomb position, then doing what I guess would be called a sunset flip bomb to finish the move.

The graphics aren't nearly as good as the PS3 and XBox 360 installations. Of course, I was expecting that. But let me put it this way, it's nowhere near as good as Smackdown: Know Your Role (Smackdown 3) either.

There are plenty of glitches. The game froze once, and in one match my opponent ended up stuck inside of the ring. Only his chest and head were visible. Luckily he did find his way out and I got to finish the match.

Almost half the characters are locked, and almost everyone I unlocked so far absolutely sucks. Examples... Demonic DJ, Lenny, Benny, and Mr. Suplex or something like that.

As a "video game" it's not HORRIBLE, but as a wrestling game it's a very big disappointment.

I did get a free TNA DVD though, cause I pre-ordered.

Overall, this game is enough to make God say His own name in vain; and I'm not sure I'll ever be the same.

At least we know why there was no demo, always makes me suspicious when a new "big name" game comes along with no demo.

U-Warrior 09-10-2008 10:05 PM

lol this is not a "big name" game.

Considering tna are the only "big name" wrestling company on tv outside of wwe it pretty much is.

U-Warrior 09-10-2008 11:24 PM

Wrestling isn't that big anymore, so that's not saying much.

Xero 09-10-2008 11:37 PM

It's like saying an NCAA Baseball video game is a "big game".

D Mac 09-11-2008 02:33 AM

7.0 from Gamespot

6.7 from IGN

Disturbed316 09-11-2008 03:57 AM

lol PS2

So worst flop ever

#BROKEN Hasney 09-11-2008 05:01 AM

I wouldn't say ever. It's a lot better than WCW Nitro.

ozzman6669 09-11-2008 09:18 PM

I just finish the story of this piece of shit. Still got 5 wrestlers locked and during the story I have only unlocked 2 finisher and 3 normal move. This game suck, don't buy it and tomorow I will trade it for NHL 09.

D Mac 09-12-2008 01:02 AM

Nice grammar there.

Shaggy 09-12-2008 05:59 AM

My little brother picked it up and likes it...but I think thats because hes afraid to tell me it sucks after I warned him it would.

Yeah that stuff was known for a long time, especially the no CAW and online in the PS2 version.

Maybe next time you will acutally...I don't know...read information on the game before you waste money on it.

Disturbed316 09-12-2008 02:50 PM

Got it earlier and its....ok. Controls take a while getting used to, but get there eventually.

Story mode is pretty funny, but only because of how kayfabe and mark-ish it is. Currently on the tag team part and keep losing to LAX, which is both frustrating and gay.

Ultimate X is a pretty decent mode, but the way you have to get X down is very annoying.

Overall I'd agree with Gamespot review. A fair amount of things they need to improve on, but no way as bad as it could have turned out to be.

Gimme some details mang...

Are the intros really just 10 seconds long?
Are they missing 4356723476 finishers and signature moves like I heard?
How big is the roster?
Are there lots of moves to choose from?

Funky Fly 09-12-2008 03:42 PM

What i've said is for PS3

Funky Fly 09-12-2008 04:14 PM

lame

ozzman6669 09-12-2008 04:21 PM

War Zone had more move than that. This game is like WCW/nWo Thunder with better graphics.

XL 09-12-2008 06:36 PM

I have one question...

What does ozzman have against pluralisation?

Kane Knight 09-12-2008 06:49 PM

I saw this at Gamestop today, and was excited for about fifteen seconds. Then I looked around for shit online, and checked this thread, and I'm kinda glad I didn't even consider purchasing it.

No the controls are much better.

For me this is the first Smackdown with better controls.

For the record, I hated every Smackdown game up until Shut your Mouth

D Mac 09-13-2008 01:25 PM

Played a little of it last night.

The graphics are good, but the controls suck.

This could be the most dissapointing game of the year.

UmbrellaCorporation 09-13-2008 08:19 PM

This game goes WAY overboard with the reversal system.

I like it, but it's frustrating. It's fun, and might warrant possibly 30 - 40 dollars, but not 60.

KingofOldSchool 09-13-2008 08:34 PM

Yeah they should have named the game TNA Reversals!: The Video Game

ozzman6669 09-13-2008 08:50 PM

And they did a little mistake, easy is hard and hard is easy!!!

Xero 09-13-2008 10:04 PM

Normally I wouldn't have to ask this, but Ozzman, are you serious?
