A mix of both really. There's a few still around but they generally aren't called enforcers anymore. Especially with the fine and suspension for instigating with, under 5 or 10 minutes left forget what it was, they don't get put out on the ice to send messages for next time anymore.

Grinders is more a term for a forward that works hard in the retrieval of the puck in the offensive zone.

There are still enforcers in the league, but they are not as prominent as they used to be.

You can see the ref is in position to see where the puck is at, so what does he do? Instead of pointing to the puck in the net, he fucking blows his whistle after the puck has crossed the red line and then makes the "NO GOAL" motion (:wtf::rant:)???
