The elimination chambers are great, but they certainly gut the card. Especially when they bookend the event. You can really feel the lull inbetween

Besides the 2010 Royal Rumble and the "match" they had tonight at Elimination Chamber, they haven't wrestled or been in a match together on PPV since their Summerslam 2008 match.

In fact, the only program they've been in AGAINST each other was the program leading into Summerslam '08. And that program lasted roughly 6 weeks and ended promptly with their match at Summerslam.

So since they've both ascended into the main event level in 2005, they've only been in one program against each other.

2 well built programs in 5 years is pretty good, especially with today's booking.
