There's an Eagles/Bucs trade rumor being floated about online. It's almost certainly not going to happen and was probably just started by some random guy but it still makes me chuckle:

Eagles get: #1 pick in 2015 draft, Mike Evans
Bucs get: Nick Foles, Eagles 1st-3rd round picks this year and next year, AND their 2017 1st-2nd

I wouldn't even care about the Eagles getting Evans (who is amazing), it would be such a comical overpay. They'd be crippled for years.

I'm tired of Chip Kelly and his scheming bullshit. Manipulating the general manager to try to get all of these Oregon players. This is the NFL Chip. Now fuck off and get with the program or fuck off. Fat piece of no good shit always thinking he knows best. "I want to run an up-tempo offense and be faster than everybody. Well as you can see that shit doesn't work. Tired of this egotistical asshole. I hope he gets Mariota so he can bust in his face.

Nark Order 03-06-2015 02:17 PM

How dare he try to get players that know his offense.

Gotta love the synergy.

Jed York is such a joke the way he runs this ship. Makes it difficult to stay engaged with the team.

I've been cheating on the 9ers in the offseason with the Bills. Been listening to the "bills and Beers" podcast a ton. Really good show.

Tomsula seems more like a motivator than an "X's and O's" guy but I still have faith there can be winning system there. Looking a bit bleak wih all these management issues.

The state of this sarcasm is comical. College doesn't transfer to the National Football League

ClockShot 03-06-2015 04:39 PM

Brandon Marshall to the Jets.

The Eric Decker signing last year just became moot.

Funny considering every player comes from college and most coaches at some point have coached something at the college level.

Nark Order 03-07-2015 12:31 AM

And Chip Kelly's offense has been working. Much better than anybody thought it would.

Going off what I've seen on here, you are familiar with crippling depression, so you should fit into the Buffalo fanbase just fine.

Clerk 03-07-2015 04:48 AM

Hasn't got to the playoffs so your statement about it working is invalid

Nark Order 03-07-2015 04:53 AM

No it isn't, they've been in the mix ever since Chip got there.

SlickyTrickyDamon 03-07-2015 06:41 AM

How are they going to be in the mix without LeSean McCoy? They got rid of their most valuable player for jack shit.

Ruien 03-07-2015 08:21 AM

Maybe they have a RB in mind that they will be getting in the off season? Maybe a huge pitch to Murray?

Ruien 03-07-2015 08:22 AM

Could gamble on Reggie Bush being healthy too.

screech 03-07-2015 09:57 AM

Reggie Bush would fit well with that offense, I think.

screech 03-07-2015 09:58 AM

Isn't this draft gonna be "RB-heavy," though?

McLegend 03-07-2015 10:52 AM

Eagles made the playoffs last year 2013-2014 season.

Also Lesean McCoy is on the downside, and he wasn't going to be on the Eagles next year anyway. I was hoping a dumb team like the Raiders would take him and something else for 1st round pick, but o well.

Simple Fan 03-07-2015 01:24 PM

Raiders have Latavius Murray that they are hoping to be their lead back.

Emperor Smeat 03-07-2015 01:50 PM

Marshawn Lynch agreed to a 3 year contract extension with the Seahawks. Got a $5 million raise for next season, options for the final 2 years, and worth $31 million overall.

whoa now

Kiko Alonso is a very good, young LB making a ridiculously low salary (~$900k)

Clerk 03-07-2015 03:58 PM

Actually it's a 2 year extension

Evil Vito 03-07-2015 11:35 PM

Randall Cobb re-ups with the Packers for 4 years, $40 million. The Raiders were expected to pay him a lot more on the open market, so it's clear he wanted to stay somewhere where he actually has a chance at winning a Super Bowl.

Clerk 03-08-2015 01:08 AM

Who cares? Cobb is overrated

Evil Vito 03-08-2015 01:21 PM

Suh to the Dolphins. 6 years, $114 million. $60 million guaranteed. Holy shit, that's QB money right there.

Ruien 03-08-2015 02:04 PM

One if the terms must be to kill Brady.

Nark Order 03-08-2015 02:06 PM

I don't ever understand the logic behind teams crippling themselves for one good non-QB player.

Evil Vito 03-08-2015 02:11 PM

With all the moves the Bills have made, Suh to the Dolphins, Marshall to the Jets (assuming they get a QB), I'd like to think the AFC East will be interesting next year...

...and yet, I can't help but just assume the Pats will win it anyway. Just like they always do.

Crimson 03-08-2015 02:17 PM

Well yeah , cuz Brady > any qb in that division.
And Belichick > any coach in that division.

Ruien 03-08-2015 02:18 PM

When was the last time the Pats lost the division? To Miami the year Brady was hurt? Even though they still won like 11 games that year.

Loved Miami when they were using the wild cat formation.

Nark Order 03-08-2015 02:18 PM

Eagles looking at Frank Gore. What in the hell. It somewhat makes sense because you get a 1000 yard rusher for less than McCoy but it all seems odd. Also was hoping Gore would stay in SF until his limbs fall off.

Evil Vito 03-08-2015 02:20 PM

The Lions' final offer to Suh was $17 million a year, $58 million guaranteed. Miami's was $19 million a year, $60 million guaranteed.

No hometown discount for Detroit. Although Florida having no income tax means Suh's take home pay will be that much larger.

Ruien 03-08-2015 02:20 PM

Can't really see Gore in the Eagles offense as the primary back. Do the Eagles still have Sproles? Maybe Gore will be grind and pound back used every now and then.

DaveWadding 03-08-2015 02:29 PM

Cardinals are doing what I would have done: Going after Pernell McPhee and Sean Weatherspoon :y:

Very frustrating.

I've been a Suh apologist since day 1, but he's always played the "doesn't want to leave Detroit" card. They offered him pretty much the exact same deal and he bolted as fast as he could.

Fuck that guy.

How is Cobb overrated? If anything he is underrated.

Yeup 2008 was the last time.

Had Miami done some tweaks or changes, the Wild Cat might have lasted longer than half a season before being broken. Lucked out in 2008 it didn't start to cost them games but had no luck in 2009.

ClockShot 03-08-2015 04:46 PM

Bills lock up LeSean McCoy. 5-years, $40 mil. $26.5 guaranteed.

ClockShot 03-08-2015 04:48 PM

In other runningback news, Chris Johnson is in stable condition after taking a bullet to the shoulder in a drive-by shooting this morning in Orlando.

Droford 03-08-2015 05:31 PM

Some Ravens bloggers think they might be able to trade Nagata to the Eagles since he's a former Duck and a conteact extension doesn't look promising.

Also Torrey Smith might be gone and I'm trying to figure out who Flacco is supposed to be throwing to

Evil Vito 03-08-2015 05:47 PM

Gore to the Eagles is finalized as is Byron Maxwell to the Eagles for about 5 years, $50 million.

Jesus. Free agents can't even officially sign until Tuesday at 4, but nobody is fucking around with agreeing to deals.
