No it wouldn't. If he won at WrestleMania and then tried to pull a Punk and leave the company with the title storyline-wise, it would definitely come off as him saying "fuck you" to everyone and being heel-ish. Think about it.

You're definitely going too far with this "anytime anything that could be construed as negative is said about The Rock, I'm gonna throw out a 'mark'" thing. lol That wasn't even a negative thing. It's just what his character would come off as if they booked a storyline like that.

When I read quotes that can be summed up by "a part timer shouldn't have the belt rah rah rah" especially 5 minutes after it happened, it just screams "mark" to me. It just so happens that that part timer is The Rock.

I mean, I just want to be entertained ultimately. But half the time, I do understand your gripes, even though I may not be as quick to jump, because the E has proven their track record time and time again, especially when it comes to decent long-term booking.

Case in point, with Cena. I thought this losing streak he was on would mean something, long term. Hell, I was optimistic that his loss to The Rock at Mania would mean something long term, and while it still might (as in, he loses again and it does SOMETHING to his character), it doesn't really seem like long-term, they had a plan for it.

I started to write a long response to that. Then I contained myself. I've actually enjoyed how things are going more in recent weeks in the big picture. I'll save my rants on the booking for when things go to shit and guys debut with cryptic videos and silent promos and then say "trolled ya!" and move on like nothing happened again. :shifty:

Though once Fandango debuts, they can do whatever the fuck they want because I'll likely stop giving a fuck about the rest of the show anyway.
