Absolutely terrible number for Raw. Got nothing on Dynamite’s 900k on a quieter night of television with only two hours in prime time. It’s very clear which show has more appeal.

No. It’s possible they have more unique viewers, or the demographic make-up of the audience has changed, but in terms of what is known about the sheer volume of people watching week-to-week, there is no reason to think that it has grown.

36,100 buys for ROH Death Before Dishonor apparently. Since it’s a Tony Khan product, this means it has done better than anything on PPV not named AEW.

Doubled the last ROH PPV’s buys, which itself crushed the previous ROH PPV’s buys.

That would be really impressive when you consider they do not have a tv show, but alas there are worshipers of Tiny Khan who are so dug in they would buy anything his spastic coke riddled brain puts out.

It was pushed on TBS and everyone in the IWC knew it was taking place. It’s a pretty “meh” number when you put it into context. It doesn’t bode white hot for ROH getting its own television deal, or anything close to what AEW has. It’s about 36% of what AEW does, which isn’t crash hot as it is. It’s not a 1:1, and AEW converts a lot of their television viewers to PPV buyers, but extrapolating that relationship to a TV deal and you’re probably looking at <400k viewers.

It might be time to have Claudio go for the AEW World Title and put his belt on the line in a unification match.

No surprise on the rating. New leadership in place, a guy with a god track record of actually building up guys and booking sensibly finally getting the reigns to the main product. If they still do the Hulu condensed shows, I’ll go watch just to see what they’re working with.

Seriously though, can we accept that there are wrestling fans out there that are paying enough attention to tune in to things that can catch a wind? Can we accept that AEW getting 900k viewers is a vote against that product? Can we accept that Kat Dennings doesn’t want to watch AEW?
