Wasn't that a bunch of bullshit though? I thought I remember it being something stupid and overblown...could be wrong though.

Either way, straight cash homie

SammyG 01-16-2008 06:19 PM

Randy Moss is the man

See, when I used to bring that up Bean (rip) who is from those parts said she actually sat on his car to try and not let him leave and he pressed the gas...

I don't know the details but yeah, she he said that was the first thing I thought of.

although, I may have misquoted, when I heard it replayed he may have said "laid my hands and batttered" or something like that...

Anyway, it seems to look more like he had nothing to do with this, they just wanted money.

He knew it was coming because of the threat/extortion try and he told Belicheck already so this didn't shock any of them.

The new details is there was some "accident" in her house and she doesn't have health care and asked him who she's known a long time to pay her medicle...

either this woman is completely nuts or theres more to come out.

Jerry Jones needs to hire Jason Garret right now. They are losing coaches , and who's gonna wana come for a lame duck tenure since Phillips isn't the long term answer. Before he takes off Jones should hire him so he could get his own coaching staff together and go from there.

And I hope they don't trade any of those 2 1st round picks, to like the Pats for the 7th pick. We should just get all the players we can get.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-17-2008 12:38 AM

If McFadden is still there at 7 I think the Cowboys will package one of their 1st rounders with some other picks later on in the draft

Kris P Lettus 01-17-2008 12:50 AM

No way..

Why would they trade up to get him when they already have Barber and Jones??

I think RUN DMC will go to somewhere like Oakland..

Gonzo 01-17-2008 12:53 AM

Julius Jones will be out in Dallas within the next one or two years.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-17-2008 12:54 AM

Barber is a free agent and Julius Jones is expendable IMO, I've heard a lot of people saying that Jerry Jones loves McFadden.

McFadden isn't gonna be able to run between the tackles in the NFL I don't think, I just have that feeling. I'd rather get Jonathan Stewart out of Oregon.

Kris P Lettus 01-17-2008 12:56 AM

So why trade up to get a RB if you're good for a year or two??

There will be other good RBs later..

p.s. I think Felix Jones will be the sleeper pick of this years draft and he prolly won't go until like the third or fourth round..

Kris P Lettus 01-17-2008 12:57 AM

I didn't know that about Barber but they'd be stupid to get rid of him..

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-17-2008 01:01 AM

Felix Jones is probably gonna be a first rounder as well

Ray Rice I think is gonna surprise people in the NFL, I can see a lot of people passing on him because of his size but I think he'll be good.

Also, I am just saying I heard Jones loves McFadden - so yeah he probably would be willing to trade for a player who he thinks is a primetime running back. I mean, he is all set with an average back with Julius Jones but if he really feels strongly about McFadden I could see them cutting Jones, resigning Barber and picking up McFadden.

Kris P Lettus 01-17-2008 01:03 AM

I dunno about Felix Jones being a first rounder even though he is the man.. I mean he's been hella overshadowed by McFadden but I guess will see..

I would really hate to see McFadden become a brokeback Cowboy..

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-17-2008 01:08 AM

I dunno, I don't really think he was all that outshadowed by McFadden. I mean McFadden got all the hype and shit, but I think NFL teams are drooling over Felix as well - otherwise he wouldn't be coming out early.

Nervous Ferret 01-17-2008 01:11 AM

gay Todd Mcshay projects Felix Jones as a late 1st early 2nd pick :-\

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-17-2008 01:14 AM

I think after the combine and shit Felix will be a late 1st rounder, and I think Stewart will jump up a lot as well.

Actually, it seems Denver wants Karl Dorrell now, the former UCLA coach. He was also our WR coach from 2000-02. Most well known season is from when he coached both Smith and McCaffrey to 100+ catch/1000+yards in 2000.

RP 01-17-2008 08:35 AM

I think Felix Jones may have been every bit as good as McFadden. I was real big on Felix Jones this year.

RP 01-17-2008 08:35 AM

Good to see Randy Moss is back.

Mr. Monday Morning 01-17-2008 09:05 AM

Julius Jones is going to be a free agent after this season and there's like .000005% chance the Cowboys will resign him

VonErichLives 01-17-2008 11:33 AM

ESPN is now reporting garret turned down the Ravens and will stay in Dallas another year.

He probably figured Phillips has 1 more year left and he has better tools to work with in Dallas then Baltimore.

Kris P Lettus 01-17-2008 12:05 PM

Stima, why did you throw that Bababooy pic in there??

VonErichLives 01-17-2008 01:23 PM

Randy Moss driving school.... at least they could have had him in a Vikes uniform which was where the driving thing happened...

It popped up when I was searching for random Moss pics and I thought it was hilarious

Y2Ant 01-17-2008 07:37 PM

*still owns a purple Moss jersey*

Gonzo 01-18-2008 08:52 AM

Giants gave Justin Tuck a contact extension. Up to 16 million in bonuses for a total of 30 million. Up through 2013. Glad to hear this, because Strahan is probably gone after this season, next season max. Didn't think they would let Tuck slip away but you never know.

I don't know if Jason Garret would make a good head coach or not but just having him as our head coach after he played for us so recently would be kinda cool.

Ninti the Mad 01-18-2008 08:35 PM

lol Pacman Jones wants to go to the Cowboys

I wonder if him and "Tank" Johnson would take eachother out.

DrA 01-18-2008 08:56 PM

I would LOVE to see Pac Man Jones play for the Dallas Cowboys.

DrA 01-18-2008 08:58 PM

But he is a no good thug that doesn't have any respect for the NFL or his community.[/MatthewAllenHanso, VonErichLives, or some other politically correct loser here].

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-18-2008 08:58 PM

Did the Titans cut him or something? I thought he was still under contract with them

Ninti the Mad 01-18-2008 09:10 PM

I dont know any of the details. There have been no talks. Just him in a video interview saying he wanted to leave Tennessee and play for Dallas.

Some pretty good "buzz" down here weighing pros and cons.

Crimson 01-18-2008 09:44 PM

So far he's only been in trouble off the field. I don't know , I think it's a risk Jones won't mind taking because the upside is so high, and if it doesn't pan out just cut him.
