A lot of dying kids don't want to see John Cena either. Some of them are Rock fans. Your point is essentially "because John Cena is the top face, he must stay the top face, because if he turned heel he wouldn't be the top face."

This is how John Cena could be the most hated heel in WWE history. You bring in an Aaron Eckhart in "Thank You For Smoking" type heel who points out that John Cena wants little kids to die, because that means he'll always have charity work to do. It's in the interest of those who don't need PR appearances to want children to be happy and healthy all the time.

Fan you may be surprised what these kids like. My 7 year old Godson loves Dean Ambrose, no bullshit. Before Ambrose, he loved Cody and Matt Hardy and he's 7, so I know he doesn't remember those classic tag table matches.
Kids' taste may surprise you sometimes. I know it shocks the fuck outta me.

This. When my nephew used to watch he had a really obscure favourite. It surprised the fuck out of me and I was a mark for Val Venis and Doug Basham. The other one is currently a massive fan of Damien Sandow. He likes how he isn't afraid to use big words and that he feels sorry for him that no one likes him even though he's trying to help. Seriously. He didn't like Cody Rhodes, but he now kind of likes him because he's the only person who likes Sandow.

You know, you are starting to sound like a dick at this point. No one is saying that The Shield grant as many as John Cena. All I was referencing was the photos Rollins, Ambrose & Reigns took with some crippled kids at Fan Axxess over the weekend. It's the job of both faces and heels in this modern era to be ambassadors for the business. It's perfectly fine for Roman Reigns to flash his attractive smile in a photograph with some fans that have flown all around world to see their favourite Superstars -- heroes and villains -- at the biggest show of them. Of course John Cena grants more wishes than them. They've literally just shown up on the scene and are making their mark. Cena is the established top babyface. I'm not saying he's not a genuinely nice person, but that doesn't mean he can't be a genuinely nice person and be a heel. That happens these days.

This is what started everything. If dying kids wanted to see The Shield, they would. If dying kids wanted to see Drew McIntyre, they would. If dying kids wanted to see Camacho, they would. Insert any random name you want. If, if, if.
They don't. That's the point. Unless you think The Shield or Drew McIntyre or Camacho are granting wishes and whatnot left and right then what are you arguing? If you do think that, then we've got an issue of giving some evidence. I can show you the evidence for Cena. And on top of that, logically, I think we can say The Shield, D-Mac or Camacho don't spend much time visiting little kids and such. I mean... seriously.

Dying kids don't want to see The Shield
yet. When it comes time for them to move further up the card, start putting on the smiles and being nice guys, we'll see how they go with the kiddies, yeah? Again, I'm not saying John Cena doesn't lead the way. No one is saying that. It's just this false logic that he is the only one who could ever do it and can only ever do it as a babyface because heels don't do PR stuff. You've had points raised against you using CM Punk, Mark Henry, The Shield, Hulk Hogan, David Otunga, The Miz and Triple H. I'm sure Sheamus was doing stuff when he was technically a heel, too. Everytime the WWE goes to Afghanistan you hear the heels talking about what a moving experience it was and how they support the troops. Being a heel =/= someone who can't be a nice guy to dying kids. That is the point. No one is arguing that the top face is not in the best position to do it. It's fair enough that Cena wants to give little kids a hero, but...

The flaw in your logic, though, is in your third sentence. Kids are marks. Cena is their #1 babyface. Hence, they want to see Cena. Turn Cena heel, someone else becomes #1 babyface, kids are still marks, they'll still want to see the #1 babyface. Only difference is, it will be someone else in the role.

This. Cena can selflessly do his dying kids stuff, but when he turns heel it will just be someone else. Granted, they might not put the exact same amount of time and energy in as Cena (who puts in more than anyone else in like any field). I think the original point was that John Cena sounds like a mark for himself when he says that, and while I never used those words, I can see that point. Cena doesn't want to turn heel because then it wouldn't be him being the top face. Either dying kids want to see John Cena because he's John Cena or they want to see John Cena because he's the top face. The kids that want to see John Cena because he's the top face will adapt to get new heroes; the ones that want to see John Cena can still see John Cena.
I'm not saying that Cena should even turn heel. He's great at what he does and it would suck to dampen his connection with the kiddies. That doesn't mean the whole "Who will be the face of the company?" arguement isn't stupid. The new face of the company will be the face of the company, stupid.
I'm calling you names affectionately, by the way. You're a good poster a lot of the time. We argue about stuff and you seem to take it really personally, though. Relax. We're just saying you're wrong.
