damn. After the cock tease, things were mighty intense. They pretty much took the best part of last season's finale (Negan's speech) and made a whole episode out of it.

The guy that plays Abe is one of those guys i'll always look for in stuff because i just love that dude.

I thought it was well done.

I liked it for the most part, but that's just because I love super intense moments and characters. Kinda sucks that they dicked around with Glen last season only to have him die anyway.

I dunno. The show ' s kinda lost its novelty for me at this point and is in the bottom part of my priority list of the suddenly massive sunday evening lineup on tv.

Was pretty surprised how much they didnt hold back on how graphic that scene was. Honestly, the brutality of it was what really drove it home in the books.

Now let's see if Rick finally loses his hand this season.

Jesus, that was pretty brutal. Glad Glenn went, seeing as he was the one who got it in the comics, was also glad to see they kept the brutality of his death. Sad to see Abe go though, i really enjoyed his character, but as soon as Denise got the arrow in the eye i knew he would go sooner rather than later. Wasn't expecting both but glad they went that way.

Was convinced an arm would be lost as well, but that could still be coming.

Still no fucks uttered by Negan though....

Tense episode to say the least. Whilst Abraham's and Glenn's deaths were certainly memorable, I kinda wanted to see more out of it. After Glenn's first shot where his eye is popping out, I wanted to see it like in the comic, with the second shot having his jaw completely destroyed etc.

Aw well. Minor complaint. Pettiness more than anything else. Great episode! So glad this is back!

I guess we aren't getting the Negan pre-Apocalypse episode where he goes from schooling people in Ping Pong to bat-wielding tough guy. The Governor v.s. Negan would have been a great rivalry

Hot damn Negan is the goods.

I knew he wouldn't make Rick chop off Carls arm. Carl just lost his eye, they weren't going to add another impairment to him this soon.

Obviously from watching the little bit where Rick is on top of the RV thinking about Negan killing everyone if he doesn't comply it is clear that the rumor of them filming a death sequence for everyone was legit. It made me think though how funny it would have been if some of the unused death scenes were leaked on social media before the episode. Like say a video of Daryl and Maggie getting wrecked by Negan instead only for it to not be legit. Would have made for epic shenanigans.

There would have been outraged fans and even if they had these deaths in the cards the whole time, people would accuse them of changing things after seeing the outrage.

Remember when people were outraged at the end of season six, and were threatening to boycott Walking Dead if AMC didn't reveal who got killed? Haha bunch of idiots. That sure showed AMC didn't it.

A much lighter episode this week. King Ezekiel is as ridiculously over the top as he is in the comics, love it. Shiva looks amazing, will be good to see her in action.

Carol is starting go annoy me, just stfu and listen to others and stay where its 'safe' for once.

Felt like one of them was getting poisoned and they were gonna drop dead at the end of the episode, panning to Chris Hardwick telling everyone to have a great Xmas while flipping us off, depriving us of another "tubular" episode of Talking Dead
