Deron Williams wins again.

SammyG 02-22-2009 04:29 PM

lol PHX's defense. Boston has 92 points with 2 minutes left in the third.

Juan 02-22-2009 09:52 PM

Lakers escape Minnesota with a victory.

No Kobe can not stop Kobe from raping white bitches.

SammyG 02-23-2009 01:01 AM

Wow. Good one, fat boy.

Krimzon7 02-23-2009 02:10 PM

 It actually was a good one!

Juan 02-23-2009 03:27 PM

I disagree. The rapist bit has been done to death. It's the equivalent of making a "You ARE the Weakest Link!" joke.

Not to mention he was never convicted.

RP 02-23-2009 05:11 PM

O.J was never convicted

DaveWadding 02-23-2009 05:17 PM

Because he's famous.

SammyG 02-23-2009 05:52 PM

I am gonna say the Lakers score an average of 123 points in the 2 games against PHX this week.

SammyG 02-23-2009 10:15 PM

"I was gonna drive around the corner and get (oral sex)," Barkley told a police officer, according to the official police report. He explained that the girl had performed oral sex on him a week earlier, and it was the best such experience of his life. Later, Barkley told a civilian Gilbert Police Department employee that he would "tattoo my name on your (butt)" if the employee would get him out of the DUI, according to the police report. Barkley then laughed and corrected himself, saying, "I'll tattoo your name on my (butt)," before laughing again, according to the report.

LOL barkley

IC Champion 02-23-2009 10:47 PM

Oh, ya gotta love Charles.

SammyG 02-24-2009 12:12 AM

Jesus, Devin Harris

Juan 02-24-2009 09:23 AM

Pau Gasol named Western Conference Player of the Week :D

SammyG 02-24-2009 02:35 PM

Twice in the past 2 weeks...

ClockShot 02-24-2009 09:02 PM

Knicks waive Marbury.

About damn time.

SammyG 02-24-2009 10:08 PM

47-10.

Gertner 02-24-2009 11:36 PM

Boozer is back!

This helps our bench a ton as Millsap moves back and gives us a bench of Millsap, AK-47, Harpring , Knight and Korver.

SammyG 02-24-2009 11:45 PM

I have always hated Harpring. Fucking piece of shit wrestler basketballer.

RP 02-25-2009 08:28 AM

lol Jim Obrien is one of the worst coaches i've ever seen. Seriously.

Juan 02-26-2009 05:25 PM

Lakers have been slacking on defense lately and can't defend the 3-Point line if their life depended on it, so I wouldn't be TOTALLY surprised if the Suns pull out a victory tonight.

Of course, I hope I'm wrong.

ClockShot 02-26-2009 05:30 PM

NBA wants a loan of $175 mil. to bail out 15 teams that are in the hole.

Juan 02-26-2009 05:35 PM

I wonder which 15 teams...

SammyG 02-26-2009 05:40 PM

Not too worried about it, Juan.

RP 02-26-2009 08:47 PM

The Pistons seem to lack leadership this year. Wonder why.

Juan 02-26-2009 10:01 PM

Watching the Cavaliers/Rockets game and a couple of things I noticed...

- Yao Ming looks hilarious when he gets mad or upset. I don't think he can ever be an intimidating center in the NBA.

- Reggie Miller is biggest Ron Artest mark. EVER

DaveWadding 02-26-2009 10:52 PM

Yo is Gentry on drugs? Barbosa and Alando FUCKING Tucker as the starting backcourt?

Icess 02-26-2009 10:54 PM

Kobe shouldn't still surprise me, but that board with a fadeway off his back foot was ridiculous...

Juan 02-26-2009 11:22 PM

MBENGA!

Even as a huge Wisconsin Badgers fan, I have to agree. Tucker's just not a very good NBA player. He'd make a ton of money in Europe, though. Frankly, that's where I thought he was until he resurfaced tonight.

Not that he's so bad as D-League depth/end of bench fodder, but not starting Dragic is a pretty strange move to say the least. Probably something to do with defending Mamba.

Juan 02-26-2009 11:38 PM

Dude hasn't played any minutes this season and came in and contributed instantly, i'll give him that one.

Anyway, this is beautiful right now.

Icess 02-26-2009 11:42 PM

Ben Wallace with a broken leg...

Juan 02-27-2009 12:18 AM

Kobe has really perfected that jumper off the glass this season.

Juan 02-27-2009 12:35 AM

DaveWadding

Icess 02-27-2009 12:35 AM

The whole team has perfected the pass. Some of these "no looks" are straight up high-lights

Juan 02-27-2009 01:08 AM

People can say what they want about Laker fans, but today during the Rockets/Cavaliers game, half the arena was empty with about 5 mins left. On the other hand, Laker fans were still in full force all the way through even though it was a blowout.

Juan 02-27-2009 01:11 AM

Houston was up about 15-18 points, yet they were filing out of the arena. What the fuck is that??

DaveWadding 02-27-2009 01:17 AM

Good job. I would be bragging too if the Suns blew out the Lakers when they didnt have Kobe and Gasol. :y:

Juan 02-27-2009 01:19 AM

I don't recall bragging, you big baby.

Juan 02-27-2009 01:43 AM

It's not looking good for the Suns though tbh

Juan 02-27-2009 01:44 AM

Anywho, I guess it's pretty much confirmed that Marbury will be signing with the Celtics tomorrow.

SammyG 02-27-2009 01:54 AM

LAAAAAAAAAAAAKE SHOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Nah. I know the Suns were shorthanded. Woulda beat the shit out of you anyway. Nice defense by the way.

Andrew Bynum, walking without so much as a slight limp, showed up in the Lakers locker room Thursday and declared himself pain-free.

Not home-free, just pain-free.

Bynum has been sidelined since suffering a tear of the medial collateral ligament in a game Jan. 31 and only recently began riding a stationary bike and working out on an eliptical machine. His return date is pegged for sometime between late March and early April and there isn’t any rush to get him back on the court.

Sean Zarzana, Bynum’s personal trainer, couldn’t pinpoint an exact date for Bynum to return playing, saying that the 21-year-old center has a long future ahead of him, so “we don’t want to rush things.”

“I’m optimistic,” Bynum said. “It feels really good and there’s nothing that I’m really concerned with.”

Bynum was exepcted to have treatment on his knee then watch the Lakers play Phoenix.

12-1 in their past 13. I wonder who they lost to.........

SammyG 02-27-2009 09:31 PM

What was that? 48-10?

Juan 02-27-2009 11:40 PM

Tonight was probably the worst game the Lakers have played all season :nono:

DaveWadding 02-28-2009 12:39 AM

How can your title still be a diss on Kobe? He is on his way to another MVP. And you're headed for the 9th seed.

Dude, it's not my fault there are 3 or 4 Lakers fans on the board. I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem if we were all Bobcats fans or something, am i rite?

Juan 03-01-2009 12:52 AM

Plus, there doesn't seem to be many NBA fans here. I made a post in here about Marbury going to Boston and no one has yet to comment on it.

Theres not 3 or 4 laker fans on the board. It just seems that way because every other post from you and Sammy G is like " Luke Walton bought a pretzel on a stick yesterday, hope that dont keep him from playing his regular 3 minutes a game. "

Juan 03-01-2009 01:04 AM

Exaggerate much?

I know more about the Lakers than the Nuggets

and that's not by choice

Juan 03-01-2009 01:09 AM

What's your point? I was replying to Sammy's post, it wasn't just a random post.

Juan 03-01-2009 01:12 AM

It's just perception though really. There's only 1 Spurs fan on the board, 1 Pacers fan, 1 Warriors fan, 2 Suns fans, 1 Jazz fan, 1 Hornets fan, 1 76ers fan and so on. So the fact there are 3 or 4 Laker fans, fills the thread with more Laker related posts.

RP 03-01-2009 01:17 AM

No you fill the thread with Laker related posts

RP 03-01-2009 01:18 AM

You give quarter by quarter updates to regular season games. REGU LAR SEAS ON GA MES

Juan 03-01-2009 01:30 AM

lol come on! Quarter by quarter??

Juan 03-01-2009 01:33 AM

Like I said though, If I were Charlotte Bobcats fan, posting about Omeka Okafur and his pretzel eating habits, I'm sure no one would have a problem.

SammyG 03-01-2009 02:24 PM

MAMBA

Gertner 03-01-2009 03:19 PM

Jazz keep on rolling. Boozer isn't doing much, but it lets Millsap come off the bench and gives us one of the top benches in the NBA.

Juan 03-01-2009 03:28 PM

Is Boozer back?

LOL, Yeah I guess when the league follows it's own rules, it's Popovich paying off Stern.

IC Champion 03-01-2009 04:33 PM

Van Gundy is awesome, I love how he and Marc Jackson pretty much dogged the suns for not wanting to play defense, and for losing because of it.

RP 03-01-2009 05:03 PM

It's especially funny seeing and though Mark Jackson has never played a lick of defense his entire career.

That has nothing to do with the Suns. And he played better d than Nash did. Jackson will be a coach in the league, he knows what he's talking about. And so does Van Gundy.

IC Champion 03-01-2009 05:14 PM

Kobe is wrecking mens in the third quarter.

Icess 03-01-2009 05:18 PM

4 fouls for Odom may hurt

Juan 03-01-2009 05:22 PM

What's with the quarter by quarter Laker updates guys?

Icess 03-01-2009 05:33 PM

Shhh...

Don't tell. Remember, no one cares about that team

RP 03-01-2009 05:34 PM

quarter by quarter updates only happen when the Lakers are not getting beat by 10 headed to the 4th quarter.

Juan 03-01-2009 07:28 PM

Dude, RP, shut the fuck up. I had to run an errand and had to listen to the last 5 minutes on ESPN radio. I always post regardless of wins or losses.

Anyway, that was bad. Did anyone but Kobe and Gasol make a shot???

SammyG 03-01-2009 08:50 PM

meh, it's just a bad stretch of 2 games. Still the best team in the league

RP 03-01-2009 11:49 PM
