Match itself was very good, probably one of the best mainevents for RAW in a while.

RatedGSuperstar 11-16-2009 11:15 PM

Fantastic Raw. Can we do it from MSG every week?

dronepool 11-16-2009 11:16 PM

Wow, this was like what the first good RAW in how many months?

Dukelorange 11-16-2009 11:17 PM

One ofthe best RAWs of the year!!!!

Perhaps two?

screech 11-16-2009 11:17 PM

Very good RAW.

Finally :y:

Johnny Vegas 11-16-2009 11:17 PM

Maybe it is the economy, but the WWE is definitely putting their foot into these RAW lately. I'm starting to feel another uprise of the WWE. All the wrestling world needs now is a strong competition.

LuigiD 11-16-2009 11:18 PM

The first Raw in a LONG time that I watch from start to finish.

Crazy Nick 11-16-2009 11:18 PM

All in all like many have said, this RAW was a pretty good one, MSG seems to bring out the best in everyone.

I have it on good authority that it was the greatest night in the history of our sport.

I think that's also due to them being at one of wrestling's hotbeds for fans, had they done a bad RAW it could have ended up like during Wrestlemania where the crowd basically destroyed Brock and Goldberg in their match. It makes them work on the show more than usual and the results end up being a good show compared to average or horrible shows past few months.

Dukelorange 11-16-2009 11:21 PM

Your move, TNA....

Juan 11-16-2009 11:26 PM

Not bad at all.

Innovator 11-16-2009 11:28 PM

That was a sweet Raw. Only bit I didn't bother paying attention to was the divas' match. The last hour of the show... actually, the first hour too, was awesome. Vince/Piper; Piper/Orton/Kofi... that segment was insane, the crowd was going crazy, on their feet for Kofi. Best segment I've seen since Mayweather/Show from NWO last year, and this was far longer. Then the main event was great.

jskinnyg 11-17-2009 12:03 AM

Kingston = Awesome, Randy put him over great... And CENA TAKING THE TOMBSTONE... I shall be an Undertaker fan for a week... Jericho = The BEST in the Business right now...

Lock Jaw 11-17-2009 12:08 AM

Highlight of the night is Kofi once again.

Actually, changed my mind. Highlight of the night was when Sheamus was going towards the crowd, this dude in the front row going in for a fist bump with a serious look on his face. He was left hanging.

Johnny Vegas 11-17-2009 12:13 AM

What was awesome was at first you clearly heard ORTON chants when the brawl first began between Orton and Kofi. Then, kind of like Rocky movies, the crowd slowly turned to backing Kofi. I don't know if im putting too much thought into it, but thats the kind of impact/mark it made for me.

Mr. C 11-17-2009 12:15 AM

If John Cena and The Undertaker would’ve won the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship tonight, they’d be both holding THREE belts. I’ll be honest, I would’ve got an amount of pleasure out of it if Cena and Undertaker each got to wear a World Title while having a tag belt on each shoulder. That would’ve turned me on in a way.

HBPunk 11-17-2009 12:25 AM

awesome raw!
now for the people saying the new set is great,it was a once off thing cos its MSG.they do that entrance a lot in MSG,the ramp and tron wil be back next week.if im wrong ill run naked down the street and give 1000 dollars to everyone who reads this.....

Johnny Vegas 11-17-2009 12:26 AM

...ok, moving on..

Cena/taker tag champs? I don't think that would be a good move.

Kami Raki 11-17-2009 07:08 AM

What I saw of Raw, I enjoyed very much. Especially the Kofi and Orton segment.

Supreme Olajuwon 11-17-2009 08:14 AM

Only saw Cena's promo and the main event but both were very good.

The Jayman 11-17-2009 08:16 AM

Very good Raw indeed

Cool King 11-17-2009 08:22 AM

Just like everyone before me, I also enjoyed Raw.

To me, it was the best Raw since this whole "Guest Host" thing began. It must be something about The Garden. I honestly can't think of a WWE Event from MSG that I didn't like.

Also, Call me crazy but with the new Theme and Intro and the slight re-design of Raw, I think maybe we might be in for a small change in what goes on. It's just a feeling I have that we might not see so much "Kid Friendly" stuff going on as we use to. I think maybe the WWE know that there target audience is growing up now and they won't like the "SuperCena" stuff of the "Crafty Hornswoggle Capers" forever, so they're sortof phasing them out to accomodate what they would be intrested in now, which is what we sortof seen on Raw from The Garden. :-\

Schlomey 11-17-2009 08:25 AM

People really liked the show that much last night?

I wasn't paying full attention through most of it but I was fairly bored until the main event perked me up. Kofi was the man of the night though.

I was a tad underwhelmed being a MSG show leading into a big 4 show.

Taker ruled at the end...nuff said.

It was debuted at a house show at the end of 2007, but it is always in that point of the arena, partly for homage to the history of WWF in the garden, and partly because they always sell out, particulally for TV.

Actually I'm pretty sure that even though they just used a pretty normal looking set for WM XX in '04, they've used the doors that they're using tonight when they were at MSG for Survivor Series '02.

jskinnyg 11-17-2009 11:42 AM

Loved the "kid friendly" pedigree to Hornswoggle... And the looks on HHH's face = Priceless... Reminded me a tad of the Old DX before the watered down version we have of DX today...

Haze 11-17-2009 12:06 PM

The Miz, Swagger, and most of all Kofi continue to shine week in and week out.

Sixx 11-17-2009 12:10 PM

WWE rippin' on Hogan already, how surprising.

I'm certainly glad they changed the music, the last one was fucking awful, even though this one is nickelback atleast it feels abit more edgier, or something. It did have an attitude era style to it this raw, especially with the blood on orton, im hoping they're starting to slowly bring blood back again having seen it a couple of times recently.

The Fraze 11-17-2009 03:57 PM

MSG was hot! It was nice to see. And the show wasn't bad I don't think. But it does kinda seem like they only pull out an ok show because they're in NYC.

jerichoholicninja 11-17-2009 07:49 PM

Just watched my DVR'ed Raw. Amazing. We had the best guest host by far with Piper. Possible heel turn by DX. Potentially a WM storyline with Vince and Piper. Kofi became a star. The best Raw main event in years. Planting of seeds for an Undertaker and Cena fued.

This is the first wrestling program I have ever wanted to watch again after it was over and I probably will tomorrow. Will the good shows continue? I doubt it but this was by far the best Raw in years.

Xero 11-17-2009 11:38 PM

Was there live. Honestly was the hottest crowd I'd been apart of in YEARS. Live the show came off amazing and there were a ton mark out moments for me. Kind of disappointed that people seemed kind of "eh" at the in-ring Piper promo. I was standing the whole time and applauding.

Got to watch it again, but I think it was easily the best RAW in months, even if I took out the being there factor.
