If Eli wins, does that make him a legit top notch QB? Will NY finally be nice to him?

No, he'll need to perform well next year, plenty of one-hit wonders have won super bowls.

VonErichLives 01-23-2008 07:05 AM

So, Brady has a walking cast and is reported to have a high ankle sprain...

TMZ actually broke the story cause someone taped him limping into his GF (Gizel) apartment in NY on Monday w/ the cast on.

Later that night he didn't have it on and had on cowboy boots when he went to dinner.

I figure if it was very serious he wouldn't be all over the place so I'm not worried..

VonErichLives 01-23-2008 10:08 AM

ok, not sure if this goes in sports or discussion... and like the person who wrote it, I'm not comfortable passing judgement... but something just doesn't seem right as the writer says...

Everyone notice how VELs teams is in the Superbowl, but he is still deeply concerned with stirring shit in this thread about the Colts. So he goes out of his way to link a column with an opinion of someone elses and acts like its a major issue.

This is what VEL does guys. :p Dont ever say i stir the shit. Cause i havent even posted in this thread for a while. I've kept my mouth shut. Obviously VEL cant seem to do that. He's so concerned with the Colts and local indianapolis columnists.

Thanks for making me look like the good fan again VEL. :)

The more you post, the more i'm right.

Huh? WTF are you talking about....

It was being discussed on an espn radio show so I went to see the article and found it interesting, especially the polite way he handeld the question.

No, unlike you typically do I'm not trying to stir shit.

Yes, you've been quiet since your team lost, because there is nothing you could say.

Had the Pats beaten the Colts we all know you'd be crying about "spygate" or some other crap...

I mean, silly me for assuming the "NFL thread" was a place to discuss all NFL issues including Dungy deciding to come back... I mean, don't most the non-pats fans complain how they're sick of hearing about the Patriots?

RP, this was just for discussion, nothing more but as usual you don't disapoint with your over-reactions!

UmbrellaCorporation 01-23-2008 01:09 PM

I'm seriously glad to see Dungy stay with the Colts for at least another year.

Kris P Lettus 01-23-2008 01:45 PM

I heard that about Brady this morning.. They said "minor high ankle sprain" so he should be good in two weeks..

I am a Vikings fan. Simple as that really.

I'm also a big fan of Manning (the older one) but now that he's won his superbowl ring, I don't really care about the Colts as much tbh, just wanted to see him win it rather than the team, although I do like a few of their players. I also like the Cowboys, but that's mostly DrA's fault. Also probably because I hate the other 3 NFC East teams because they're all gay like you.

Tony Romo is just a random cult hero of mine, like T.O. And Randy Moss. Although I am a genuine huge fan of Moss because he is the man. Just not when he played for the Raiders. There are quite a few players I am a big fan of, I can't be bothered thinking of any more. Except Bob Sanders.

Daunte Culpepper can die of the AIDS he most likely caught during that boat party scandal, btw.

Moss >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Culpepper

That clear enough?

Crimson 01-23-2008 08:40 PM

Romo is a hero to all.

Kris P Lettus 01-23-2008 08:42 PM

Romo is a brokeback faggot..

Yeah, pretty funny when TMZ breaks a sports story since they were stalking outside Gissels house.

not sure if you're joking or not, but someone ran with that... their source was they went to the building near where Gissel lived and asked every office if Brady had been there and they all said "NO" except the hair transplant place said "No Comment".

that's funny.

Crimson 01-24-2008 12:24 AM

Pats 38 Giants 17

CSL 01-24-2008 04:20 AM

So Richard Seymour apparently headbutted a Chargers coach with his helmet on.

And the video is on Youtube.

Now I may be kind of drunk atm but I'm pretty sure there is no nutting in this vid

VonErichLives 01-24-2008 06:54 AM

didn't see a headbutt either...

if thats what I think it was they were talking about it Monday.

Seymore and that player had some bad blood going back to last season and before the game they were at mid-field going back and forth, at first people thought they were joking around and when it looked like it was getting out of hand the Pats DL's walked over and broke it up.

not sure who that was w/o the helmet that seemed to get in it at the end.

Gonzo 01-24-2008 07:28 AM

McNeil I think, OT for the Chargers.

Supreme Olajuwon 01-24-2008 08:28 AM

kinda looked like a Carl Everett headbutt

must be a Boston thing

Kris P Lettus 01-24-2008 09:07 AM

Falcon did hire Mike Smith (Jags former D-Coord.) as their new Head Coach..

VonErichLives 01-24-2008 11:38 AM

ESPN's been ripping Dan Snyder "I never thought I'd see the day where a NFL owner of one of the most historic franchises in the NFL has no idea what he's doing".
