Haha oh god. Should be entertaining in any event.

Both teams players ranked in order of importance.

ya know, I wonder somtimes if Seymour makes Wilfork better or Vice Versa...

true what they say, Seymour doesn't get stats because he's always double teamed...

There's a rumor going around the Pats may go after Chris Long if he's there #7...

and play him where? go to a 4-3? or try and get him to drop 40lbs and make him a LB?

he's like 6'4 over 280... that's one big ass LB if they try and move him there.

Gonzo 01-24-2008 05:52 PM

Its probably mutual. Like Moss and Brady. They make each other better. On their own they're both great players, but together they are a hell of a combination.

Hanso Amore 01-24-2008 06:46 PM

They were saying something interesting today about the Giants being better without Tiki and Shokey.. Like, Eli is much better being able to pick his shots and not having a "superstar" complaining about getting the ball.. Like y'all TE now, Boss or whatever.. He has been good because he is a role player.. He comes in and blocks when he has too and catches the ball when thrown to him.. And Eli has been real good about spreading the ball around.. That is what the Giants need to win..

Also, with a "superstar" being hurt, everyone else tends to step it up..

Chris Long is White.

he never would have the speed.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-24-2008 07:39 PM

Chris Long isn't gonna be there at #7 anyway so the debate is useless

I really can't see the Patriots losing to the Giants, the Patriots offense handled their defense in the week 17 game (I think Brady was pretty close to 400 yards passing plus Welker and Moss both went over 100) so I'm not too worried about that. You might bring up how Randy Moss hasn't really done much in the playoffs but that is because everyone has been focusing on stopping him but that hasn't worked to well as that's just given other guys space to roam. Maroney has been on a tear in the playoffs too, so that's a plus as well on the offense side. I think the 2 defenses the Patriots played in the playoffs where better than the Giants (Well, the Jags def had a better front 7 and the Chargers have better DBs anyway) The only thing is the Giants offense is playing great and they did pretty well against the Patriots D. The Patriots D has been playing pretty great though and I think they will be able to contain the Giants a bit. Somebody mentioned how the Patriots haven't seen Bradshaw yet, which is true, however they did pretty much shut down the best 1-2 combo in the NFL when they held to Fred Taylor to 49 yards and Maurice Jones-Drew to 19 in the divisional round. Obviously its the NFL, the Giants are playing real hot and anything can happen. I mean I am a Patriots so I def remember when they beat the Rams after being 14 point underdogs, so I'm not gonna say "The Giants have 100% NO CHANCE of winning" DaveWadding style, but I am pretty confident. Manning has been playing great though and did light up the Pats with 4 TDs last time, and I am becoming a big fan of Kevin Boss's play. Still though, Pats got a shot at history here

As soon as I read "Matt Light did something he shouldn't have done" I was just thinking what, stop you from sacking Brady? What a big gay.

p.s. does Strahan still do the ballin' thing every time he makes a tackle? If so, I may watch the Superbowl.

Y2Ant 01-24-2008 08:51 PM

Also I would like to see the Patriots win, and then win it one more time before Brady leaves/retires just so he can wear all 5 of his Superbowl rings on one hand, and do a "you can't see me" gesture to everyone.

It would make me laugh anyway.

Skippord 01-24-2008 10:05 PM

106. CB Antwain Spann -- Patriots

He is buried on the depth chart but had one tackle in the regular season. Ironically, it was against the Giants in Week 17.

sucks to be that guy

Kris P Lettus 01-24-2008 11:21 PM

How would it suck to be that guy, Skippord?? He is prolly making hundreds of thousands of dollars to sit on the bench of and undefeated team who's prolly about to win a Super Bowl.. You are a 15 year old virgin who lives with his parents..

It would suck much worse to be you..

No offense..

Nervous Ferret 01-24-2008 11:22 PM

Don't really see how the living with his parents part is insulting

Kris P Lettus 01-24-2008 11:24 PM

Cause I'm guessing that even as an NFL benchwarmer, his house is pretty fly..

Nervous Ferret 01-24-2008 11:48 PM

...

Kris P Lettus 01-24-2008 11:51 PM

Also, the whole living with your parent thing and being a virgin go hand in hand so I can see how this could be confusing to you..

Cooler Tom Schuler 01-25-2008 12:23 AM

Well, at 15, that generally is the status quo.

Nervous Ferret 01-25-2008 01:02 AM

^Yah that's what I meant. You expect him to have his own place when he can't even drive himself to school?

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-25-2008 01:13 AM

lol I know I was bustin Skippords balls in that Yahoo game earlier but Krispy come on give me a break.

I am 21 and still live with my parents, I guess I am such a loser

PS look if you are gonna make fun of Skippord make fun of his orange teeth

RP 01-25-2008 07:59 AM

ROFL

Kris P's parents probably set the bar for parenting so low that he doesnt really know what a good 15 year old boy like Skippord should be doing. One day, while his parents were hanging out in a dumpster smoking crack, little Kristopher Lettuce was left alone with his 19 year old female cousin and raped. The cruel twist was that she forced him to be the female.

that was my original thought, but there is talk he may slip...

it's the draft, who the hell knows what will happen...

but we'll postpone draft talk for another week and a half.

Kris P Lettus 01-25-2008 08:51 AM

Come on, guys, I was just joshing him..

Skippord 01-25-2008 08:53 AM

Antwain Spann is a pretty cool sounding name though

You tickle me, conebone69.

SammyG 01-25-2008 08:06 PM

lol, Jeff Garcia takes Favre's spot in the Pro Bowl. What the fuck, Brett?

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200....ap/index.html

OssMan 01-25-2008 08:08 PM

Ethan Albright named to Pro Bowl. Ooooooooh suck it John Madden

ClockShot 01-25-2008 09:32 PM

So old man Davis wants to run out Lane Kiffin. Guy even went as far as to write up a letter of resignation to sign.

Skippord 01-26-2008 01:16 AM

lol Al Davis

ridiculous bastard

MTH15 01-26-2008 01:18 AM

Assmane is probably happy. Im mad the Falcons didnt sign Marty Schottenhimer

Cooler Tom Schuler 01-26-2008 01:53 AM

I think Favre deciding not to go to the pro bowl greatly increases the odds of him returning next year.

The Lone Wolf 01-26-2008 03:06 AM

im not sure if it really does anything to affect whether or not he is returning next season since im pretty sure he already said that he is returning reguardless.

VonErichLives 01-26-2008 11:19 AM

why would kiffen sign.. he gets fired he gets another 4mil in salary due.

The Gold Standard 01-27-2008 12:47 AM

Kiffen should not sign just to stick it to the raiders.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-27-2008 02:49 AM

http://images.sportsline.com/u/ap/ph...2615_lower.jpg
Damn that looks pretty tight...don't think he'll be able to wear it for the game tho

RP 01-27-2008 07:46 AM

If i'm Kiffin, i'd go to Al Davis and be like " Look give me 3 out of the 4 mil you owe me and i'll go back to So Cal and win National Championships every other year and be a God in California. No? Then stfu AL "
