One of the best ROH matches, Eddie Edwards vs. Davey Richards for the ROH World title.

Wrestling wedding

Yes, that is pro wrestlers in the middle of the dance floor of a wedding reception. One of the weddings that we did recently happened to have a wrestling match going on next door. The promoter came over and asked if it was okay if a couple of the wrestlers came over as a kind of 'stunt'. The bride and groom said okay and later in the evening two wrestlers came over and did a full on wrestling match in the middle of the dance floor.

This wedding reception was already awesome. The bride and groom were some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of working with, the guests were awesome, we did lots of fun interactive stuff that got the crowd going, and we had a good dance floor most of the night. So this reception was already a ten, when the wrestlers came over it jumped to eleven! You would not think that pro wrestlers beating each other up in the middle of your special day would go over, but all the guests really got into it and these guys were very professional and put on a great show. Everyone was really getting into the energy.

I have been doing weddings for ten years and I thought that I had seen about everything. This was a first, and it was so much fun that I will never forget it.

Wouldn't think Zeb would like #Vice.

Bought Wrestlemania 14 from Walmart today as part of the $10 deals WWE is doing for those individual Mania re-releases.

The back of the case says its only 3 hours long so am I going to be missing out on a lot of stuff or is the 4-5 hour Manias more of a recent thing (early to mid 2000s)?

Lock Jaw 05-25-2013 09:22 PM

From I think maybe Wrestlemania 2000 onwards it was a 4 hour event.

And Mania IV was a 4 hour event as well.

Emperor Smeat 05-25-2013 09:25 PM

So won't be missing anything besides the usual small edits the WWE does to their DVDs since this current PG era.

Just sarted to play this from the computer's dvd drive and it turns out these single Mania dvd re-releases are ripped straight from the Mania Anthology set. Contains the same disc info and chapters listing with the biggest exception being all except Mania 14 being playable.

Tazz Dan 05-25-2013 10:08 PM

I almost bought a few of them the other day..... Then I remembered I had the Anthology box set at home. Could have been a waste of $60 dollars or so. (They're $15 each here)

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-25-2013 10:11 PM

Hope they unleash Volume 5 and 6 of the anthology soon.

Shindig Jeff 05-25-2013 10:13 PM

i think they will release it, unless they don't.

Droford 05-25-2013 10:38 PM

I got wm on blu ray and noticed you could see the twitter scrawl on the jumbotron but they took it out which I actually appreciate.

I hope they "unleash" it on Blu-Ray and re-release the attitude era discs without the annoying blurred scratched WWF logo.

Droford 05-25-2013 10:46 PM

Wal mart had all the wm blu rays (24-27) for $15 didn't see last year though

Holy shit that's incredible! Especially the way Cesaro incorporated dance moves into his selling. Amazing! WWE seriously don't know the talent they have on their roster sometimes.

Apparently Kevin Steen was "embarassed to know people would see this airing on television it was so bad.

I didn't mind it, thought it fit with his character for the time being.

Tommy Gunn 05-26-2013 10:52 AM

WWE logic is exceptional sometimes...

Dolph Ziggler gets a concussion from a kick to the head = a week later WWE un-ban the punt.

Rammsteinmad 05-26-2013 11:39 AM

Not to mention have D Bryan stomp the living shit out of Jack Swaggers "head".

Rammsteinmad 05-26-2013 11:39 AM

Still, at least people can't complain about WWE's "safe PG in-ring style" anymore.

Love the whole Monday Night Football feel to #1. Cheesy as hell, but no complaints. "Yokozuna from Japan, Bulldog Englishman!"

But it's not any more ridiculous than the #4. #4 was literally a trip through that dude's mind.

Do you think Hulkster's gonna get his hand amputated after that radiator on his boat exploded?

slik 05-26-2013 06:08 PM

I'd mark if he got them amputated and wore Hulk Hands in their place.

- WWE held Shawn Michaels Appreciation Night this past Friday at a live event in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jim Ross gave a speech about Michaels and a video package aired. After being presented with a plaque from West Valley City Mayor Mike Winder, the festivities were interrupted by Antonio Cesaro. Cesaro ripped on Michaels and tried to leave with the plaque but was stopped by Ross. Cesaro shoved Ross into the corner but was stopped by Sweet Chin Music from Michaels.

WTF does Shawn Michaels have to do with Salt Lake City?

mike adamle 05-27-2013 12:20 PM

Various wrestling news sites are reporting that ROH Legend Rhett Titus just got signed by WWE and will be reporting to NXT after he fulfills his obligations.

Wow Congrats.

When Vince was on, he could strap a rocket to ANYONE and make it work.

Too bad he hasn't been on for a long long time.
