Are you serious?

Did you not see Eli out there? That was a no brainer.

owenbrown 02-03-2008 10:22 PM

How long before ESPN and FOX start sucking the dick of the '72 Miami Dolphins? :nono:

Good game, though...didn't think this would be a low scoring game

I realise that

Dragon 02-03-2008 10:25 PM

Incredible

Eli getting out of that sack and getting that throw for a completion was ridiculous

Fenix122 02-03-2008 10:31 PM

That was a great game. Tyree's catch was unbelievable

About 5 minutes after the game ended, I flipped over to ESPN and rather than discussing the game itself, they were interviewing Bob Griese followed by Mercury Morris. So... about 5 minutes.

RP 02-03-2008 10:32 PM

"He said we were only scoring 17 points? Alright" - Tom Brady

RP 02-03-2008 10:34 PM

Hobbs got murdered on that TD to Burress.

SammyG 02-03-2008 10:36 PM

Wow, THERE'S a shocker!!!.... surprised they didn't discuss them sooner. :shifty:

Dragon 02-03-2008 10:38 PM

Yeah, Tyree catching that ball was pretty crazy too

Zen v.W.o. 02-03-2008 10:38 PM

That play will be on highlight reels for YEARS to come.

It needs a sweet name like Bradshaw's "Immaculate Reception," though.

Nervous Ferret 02-03-2008 11:36 PM

I have successfully gotten about 75 people going on the Threeli Manning name

Don't mind the Giants team winning, especially sans Shockey, it's just the gay ass giants fans that are gunna perturb the heck out of me this week. Total lose/lose game. ROFL @ Peyton being all alone in the press box though, freakin funny

Nervous Ferret 02-03-2008 11:37 PM

freaking pumped though for next season because the loser of the Superbowl always blowsssssssssssss the next year. Jetsssssssssssssssssssssss in '09

Nervous Ferret 02-03-2008 11:42 PM

Seriously got sick before the game knowing that I would either have to watch Brady hoist that gayyyyy trophy again or listen to Frank Havlan go nuts all week. Not out of vomit contest though

I went for Dallas... lost.
I went for Seattle... lost.
I went for Colts... lost.
I went for Jacksonville... lost.
I went for Chargers... lost.
I went for Green Bay... lost.

And its funny because now I am rooting for the Patriots because I dont want the Giants to win.

Damn, I am good.

Im glad the Pats lost haha

SammyG 02-04-2008 01:21 AM

This is the beggining of the end of the Pats. Everything gonna go to shit now for them. Amazing. That's what you get for cheating in the Superbowl against the Rams, you bitches.

The Gold Standard 02-04-2008 01:44 AM

I am so excited about this victory. GO GIANTS

Mr. Monday Morning 02-04-2008 06:58 AM

Lost out on some £££ but I really don't mind because that was a GREAT game, best Superbowl in at least 7-8 years. No it wasn't high scoring but it was a fantastic back and forth all game long between two VERY well-coached teams. I fully expect Spagnuolo to leave but if he doesn't look out because that D is pretty young in some key positions and they could be even stronger next year.

Great credit to Eli, he came close to coughing it up a couple times but he hung in there and came through in the clutch. You can't really put the INT on him cause Smith just bobbled it right up to Hobbs. I understand the MVP because of the winning drive but man that D-line deserves all the credit in the world, unreal. Pats didn't even play that badly, they just got bottled up for like 9/10ths of the game.

I'm sure there's better ones out there somewhere but whatever

Oh yeah, because the team is sooooo old and all the young players are leaving...

They'll still win the Division next year and compete for a 1st round bye.

As for the Rams thing, one there is no proof yet, heck this guy who claims it wants legal money to talk to anyone and no one (espn, cnnsi) will give it to him which probably means he's full of shit.

and if he isn't as a player said the other day "If they video taped us walking through the first 3-4 plays that we might do and that's the reason they beat us, then thats on us"

I did like how spector again called for Godell and he responded "Well, I'll be busy w/ the pro bowl, but after that I'll accomidate him".
