Blonde Moment 07-12-2015 05:52 PM

Edge?

Bad News Gertner 07-12-2015 05:59 PM

Who did he have to sleep with to accomplish that? Linda?

Mick Foley.

Lost a belt to someone who'd become my noted tag partner: the Rock

Famous Uncle: He referred to Paul Bearer as Uncle Paul

He was a lawyer during the Trial of Eric Bischoff

Won the tag belt once during a dumpster match and declared himself the first hardcore champ

Defeated Chris Jericho, Bret Hart and Rick Martel (had to look this part up)

That actually wasn't who I was thinking of, but the clues all fit, so kudos. The guy I has something sort of in common with Mick Foley, in that he's been a part of two legendary factions at the same time.

Sixx 07-14-2015 06:21 AM

Sabu? Arn Anderson?

Mr. Nerfect 07-14-2015 06:40 AM

He's won three main roster WWE championships.

Sixx 07-14-2015 06:44 AM

I'm not sure what that means.

Rick Rude?

Bad News Gertner 07-14-2015 12:53 PM

Who were the first hosts of Prime Time Wrestling.

Big Vic 07-14-2015 12:56 PM

The Prime Time Players!

No and no. You might think, but although both were on the list IIRC, neither is #1.

Yes. Of course they were sure to be very selective in which titles they actually took into account or it most certainly would've been Jerry Lawler in a runaway.

I have a very peculiar history of being quite successful against Canadian wrestlers -- having beaten three former Canadian World Champions in singles matches. I have been declared a champion at least twice under dubious circumstances. I would lose a singles championship I held to a person who would go on to become my most noted tag team partner. I am a qualified lawyer, a master of the DDT and sort of have a famous uncle in wrestling.

Eddie Guerrero?

Sepholio 07-14-2015 04:23 PM

I think Foley should count as the correct answer or else we are going to be here forever.

Mr. Nerfect 07-14-2015 08:07 PM

You can count Foley and move on, as people have. The answer was Heath Slater, BABBBBBAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!

Mr. Nerfect 07-14-2015 08:12 PM

* He's beaten Christian, Chris Jericho and Edge in singles matches.

* He was Heath Wallace Miller, Esq. in DSW.

* He lost the FCW Heavyweight Championship to Justin Gabriel, who would later go on to become Slater's three-time co-WWE Tag Team Championship partner.

* Slater defended the FCW Heavyweight Championship for an injured Ted DiBiase, Jr., and would then be announced champion once DiBiase was confirmed to be out for a longer period of time.

* Barrett ordered then Tag Team Champions, John Cena & David Otunga, to lie down for Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel in a Tag Team Title match.

* Slater played Clem Layfield, nephew of John "Bradshaw" Layfield.

* Slater's finishing move is the Smash Hit DDT, but he's also used a Reverse DDT in the past (The E-Minor).

Mr. Nerfect 07-14-2015 08:13 PM

Oh, the two legendary groups at the same time? 3MB and The Union Jacks, BABAAAAYYYYY!!!!!

When you mentioned that this person was a member of two legendary groups at the same time, I thought it would be something like this.

Which lead me to think it could have been Justin Credible for a brief moment, as he was a member of both The Alliance and X-Factor at the same time, and I thought you would be one of the few people to view X-Factor as being a legendary group.

Mr. Nerfect 07-15-2015 08:07 AM

Hey, I don't consider X-Factor legendary.

Cool King 07-15-2015 08:08 AM

My mistake.

Mr. Nerfect 07-15-2015 08:09 AM

Easy one to make, since I consider Val Venis the greatest Canadian to never win a World Title.

I'd personally give it to Storm. It's borderline criminal that he didn't even get a "thank-you" run, especially considering that stupid BS "serious guy who's now somehow completely been transformed into a party guy" gimmick they gave him from Sept. 2003 - his WWE departure in ~ April 2004.

Lol I remember thinking X Factor's theme was awesome back in the day

Cool King 07-15-2015 02:46 PM

Me too.

Cool King 07-15-2015 02:50 PM

Now they're stuck in my head and I just had to go and listen to them.

Prime Time Elix Skipper.

Innovator 07-15-2015 04:54 PM

If I was mod and someone said "X-Factor" and didn't immediately post the theme, yabanned

Cool King 07-16-2015 11:43 AM

I like the idea of Noid's "Who Am I", so I'll do that.

Who Am I?

My first taste of "the big leagues" was a loss and that trend continued, during which, I appeared under a variety of different names. Under the name I'm perhaps best known for in this company, I debuted and was victorious over a former World Champion. My first loss happened on foreign soil.

Although I've not won any championships, not long after my debut, I did befriend two former champions of ECW, who I would later go on to have Tag Team matches with.

Yes he is

Nope. Monsoon and Ventura were the second hosts.

I've talked about him a couple times. He was atrocious. He'd try and make banter and it came off so awkward. I felt uncomfortable watching it.

Jack Reynolds?

Also, the answers given for my "Who Am I?" are wrong so far.
