I hope Tebow ends up being one of the best Quarterbacks of this Era, just so everyone can eat a big pile of crow.

Shut the fuck up - nobody has seen him play IN THE NFL YET. Pretty sure that Ryan Leaf had all the tools to be a hall of famer. Look how that panned out. What about Jeff George? Wasn't he supposed to set the league on fire?

Now consider this. Nobody in their right mind would have thought Tom Brady had the tools to be the quarterback that he is. While Tebow may not have the arm strength or accuracy that Brady does, I'm pretty sure his work ethic is there.

Or maybe I'm an asshole. After all, I thought that Mike Cherry was the future of the Giants for a few seasons.

Hanso Amore 03-30-2010 12:37 PM

What tools are you talking about? The only one I see in this thread is....you!

BURN!

Calm down fuck face. I simply dont want that fucker on my team. Dont make this more than it is.

Do you know how many nights I wished this to be true?

Droford 03-30-2010 09:32 PM

NFL finally votes to allow teams to tell their crowd to cheer and make noise with their video boards. WOW.

Also, the Pittsburgh Steelers are the new Cincinatti Bengals.

Hanso Amore 04-01-2010 11:48 AM

Except they are good.

More like the mid 90s cowboys

Evil Vito 04-02-2010 12:17 AM

Giants sign Deon Grant. Nice.

Even better - this means Can't Catch Brown is officially gone!

Source? I just want to read the article, I don't doubt its truth. :D

Never mind, read it on ESPN.

Gonzo 04-02-2010 02:15 AM

I think I've said it before, and maybe it's just me, but with all the fame and fortune that comes with being a professional athlete, I would never leave my home. Ever.

The only places I would be are practice, team functions, or home. If I had a family I guess I would do stuff with them, but these guys who aren't hitched who go out and party it up and everything always find trouble. I suppose it's the lifestyle, and they're entitled to it blah blah blah. We all know their position. I don't know if it's the twenty four hour seven day a week news coverage, but it just seems that professional athletes are in trouble left and right.

There are like 2-3 guys per week, it seems, in trouble with the law in the NFL.

Skippord 04-02-2010 02:26 AM

maybe if they weren't dumb they could go out and have a good time without getting arrested

Supreme Olajuwon 04-02-2010 08:53 AM

yeah that's just a shitty excuse to shift the blame away from the players who make terrible choices

Skippord 04-02-2010 10:45 AM

At least Shawn Rogers never makes bad choices

I don't know if you meant me, but I don't excuse these guys. They're 100% to blame.

Look at Roethlisberger, guilty or not, this guy will probably always have these accusations hanging over him during his playing career. All over players just poorly represent themselves, their teams, and the league.

Crimson 04-02-2010 03:11 PM

Well the Cowboys are releasing Flozell and Ken Hamlin today. I guess for sure now they will be drafting a tackle and a safety in the first 2 rounds. Hamlin after getting that contract was never affective on defense, and Flozell is like a big dumb dog that never corrects mistakes.

Wow sounds like a pretty lame existence Kurt Warner

SammyG 04-02-2010 04:45 PM

3 weeks away from Bradford being a Ram!

Brujesino 04-04-2010 04:04 AM

i just wanted to say that the Raiders will win the superbowl this upcoming season :y:

MTH15 04-04-2010 06:45 PM

You retarded fuck the raiders wont ever win anything. But if the falcons get their d-line revamped, a SS and a CB. Probably a couple o line and SUPER BOWL BABY. And krispy....if your reading this i dont care if you guys win 11 super bowls fuck the saints that ass is ours this year

McLegend 04-04-2010 09:17 PM

According to ESPN's bottom line Donovan Mcnabb was traded to the Redskins!!!!!??//

McLegend 04-04-2010 09:19 PM

OMG he was

Droford 04-04-2010 09:19 PM

Snyder couldn't resist.

I wonder what they had to give up.

McLegend 04-04-2010 09:22 PM

Sweet Jesus

Reavant 04-04-2010 09:24 PM

wow

Droford 04-04-2010 09:28 PM

Jason Campbell will go somewhere where he'll have a consistent coaching staff and flourish for years to come while McNabb has maybe a couple more good years left in him in a best case scenario.

McLegend 04-04-2010 09:29 PM

For an alleged 2nd round pick.

FearedSanctity 04-04-2010 09:31 PM

Sooooo they kept him in the division?

WHY?

ROFL

I hate the Eagles and Redskins, but I hope McNabb makes Philly eat every fucking bad word they always said about him.

McLegend 04-04-2010 09:38 PM

STFU

And I guess the Eagles don't think he is that good anymore.

Evil Vito 04-04-2010 09:40 PM

Ugh god dammit. I wanted McNabb out of the division.

ClockShot 04-04-2010 09:41 PM

McNabb to D.C. I guess if Snyder wants it, he gets it.

I heard The Fossil was willing to send Asomugha and their 2nd round pick to get him. Wonder why he didn't pull the trigger on it.

Doesn't really matter. Like, 90% of players in any sport will play incredibly against their old teams. And he's not that bad off in WAS either, just has no line. Not that it matters since he dominates when under pressure anyway

Drew Bledsoe and The Patriots might argue against this.

Davis was all for it, McNabb and apparently Reid weren't. McNabb obviously didn't want to play somewhere as terrible as Oakland and Reid didn't want to send McNabb somewhere he didn't want to be. Thus no OAK or BUF

Thus the other 10% ;)

Fair enough. Even though 90% is kind of high. Either way totally irrelevant here.

More importantly Donvan McNabb era is now over. That's very sad :(

Heros Welcome 04-04-2010 09:50 PM

Mcnabb stays in the division! I do expect him to make Philly pay BIG TIME! Good thing for the skins though is that they def go OL round 1 and will probably land Russell Okung to play the LT spot for them. Further rebuilding there OL....

OR they could try and find someone to drop back a few picks, and look to take someone like Bryan Bulaga or Trent Williams while regaining a pick in round 2. Either way I like this deal for the Skins. I think Donavon has got a lot of game left in him and will make an immediate impact.

FearedSanctity 04-04-2010 09:51 PM

Making up a high BS percentage was faster than typing "a really high amount of". But regardless, there's no denying McNabb still has plenty left in him, almost instantly making the decision to keep him in the division a terrible idea. Those decent WRs Washington already had instantly get a lot better from now having a QB that can hit them when they're open.

FearedSanctity 04-04-2010 09:52 PM

Also, WTF. Where was the Eagles willingness to trade him when Denver wanted him?
