Yoshi Tatsu's last win on a non-NXT and non-Superstars show was on November 29th, 2010 on RAW, teaming with Mark Henry to defeat Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel.

Poit 09-20-2013 04:34 AM

I sorta miss the Goldust/Yoshi Tatsu tag team.

Bad News Gertner 09-20-2013 07:30 AM

In over a 2 years span, Funaki won 1 match: Velocity vs Sylvain Grenier.

WWE Hall of Famer Sunny went on Facebook and admitted that she was not mugged earlier this week and is not adopting a child from Cambodia. Sunny made up these stories to mess with wrestling websites. Here's what she wrote: "Soooooo my plan worked!! Every time I put a status on facebook, every wrestling website writer copies it and posts it as their status!! WELL, I guess I got the best of them this time! For the past two days Ive been making up the craziest crap, just to see if they post it as factual news, without checking the facts first!! And yep! They did! Isnt it sad that these "journalists" have no real skills for actual reporting other than copying bogus social media status updates!! Reminds me of a couple years ago, when I said "one of the TNA knockouts was expecting"..remember that??? Yep, I made that one up too to see if they'd run with it... So FANS, Im sorry i had to include you all on this charade, but I DIDNT get mugged, NOR am I adopting a child from Cambodia. And WRITERS, maybe you'll think twice before you copy my statuses again...it just makes you look gullible and STUPID that you jump on things BELIEVING you have the newest BIG SCOOP, when in actuality, you have nonsense that just makes you look pathetic...... SOOO, stop whacking off, get out of Mommy's basement, and get a REAL JOB!!! AND FOR ONCE, GIVE US PERFORMERS OUR PRIVACY!!!! HAHAHAHAAH! Ohhhh that was fun!"

I've been threatening to start my own dirtsheet for a long time now. Should finally get on that.

I originally put this in the wrong spot. But, I don't know which of these guys was more entertaining here. Evans sold everything wonderfully. And I kind of hope to see someone photoshop Ryback's head on a Concert Pianist.

Now, for something completely different.

I'm actually not writing Rollins off at all. I'm not saying that Reigns is going to be a multi-time WWE Champion and Rollins is going to be sucking dick for soup line money.

I'm saying this: when I look at the upsides of all three members, and the guys most likely to be Big stars, I see Reigns comparable to Batista, who was a big guy and all he had going for him initially was his size. He then started working with and off of guys who were so good at what they do he had no choice but to improve. He can bump really well for a guy his size and his timing is great. When the time comes for him to explode on his own, he will be as big a star as Batista was (and don't kid yourselves, Batista did pretty well for himself). That's not a maybe it will happen, barring a colossal fuck up that tops the Ryback fuck up, it's a guarantee.

Ambrose will get there by virtue of his personality. This one isn't a guarantee, but he will probably get there within a few years.

Rollins is a bit of a question mark, but he could definitely follow the career path of a Jeff Hardy, hopefully without the outside of the ring issues. If he gets there, which again isn't a guarantee, but it'll take him longer than the other two. Not saying it won't happen, because it very well could. I have him at third only because I see the other two getting there before him, not because of some short-coming he has.

TLC presale started for anyone interested, the code is WWETLC. Got myself a seat in my favorite section (107) for the show. This will be my first PPV.

Rammsteinmad 09-20-2013 12:33 PM

Rollins is my favourite member of the Shield to watch. Love all three of 'em, and they all have their own strengths and weaknesses, but Rollins is so incredible to watch in the ring, especially his selling. I love any time he and Daniel Bryan hook up in the ring, and I love that he's one of those ROH guys who takes what he was doing in the Indy's and mixes it perfectly with WWE's style.

When someone says "I'm doing X", isn't that like a primary source confirmation? Lying, then mocking others about their journalistic integrity just makes Sunny seem pathetic here.

CSL 09-20-2013 04:42 PM

that's great, trained with him more than once, "gives a shit"/is no-nonsense, genuinely looks out for guys and will "put in a good word" etc and teaches a lot about things outside of the ring, willing to really "get his hands dirty" as opposed to a lot of guys who will just pretty much answer questions for hours. Happy for him.

VSG 09-20-2013 04:50 PM

Someone let Destor know.

Lock Jaw 09-20-2013 04:51 PM

WWE.com has an article up listing the Top 50 Entrance Themes.

In which I have learned that supposedly Booker T's theme goes "Ice, Ice, Ice...... Cold, Cold, Cold" and not "Yes, Yes, Yes..... No, No, No" like I have thought since 1995 or something.

VSG 09-20-2013 04:59 PM

Mind blowing stuff there

Ultra Mantis 09-20-2013 05:19 PM

I knew those were the lyrics but I never made the connection that Harlem Heat are Ice Cold. Freezer burn. Adds a whole new level to the gimmick.

Lock Jaw 09-20-2013 05:21 PM

I call BS on it. They just want us to think it is "Ice/Cold" because "Yes/No" is Daniel Bryan's thing.

#1-norm-fan 09-20-2013 06:09 PM

I always thought it was "Yes yes yes... No no no" too.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/gaIcBGKNFy0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

In fact, I'm gonna have to go with Lock Jaw here and call bullshit. Listen to that. I could maybe accept him saying "ice" in a weird way that sounds like "yes". Can't hear "no" as "cold" even if I'm trying to though.

Razzamajazz 09-20-2013 06:46 PM

if you try then maybe you can make out a hard c to start the cold. maybe the "cold" is a black guy saying it, pronouncing it col' or co'

Chavo Classic 09-20-2013 06:48 PM

Hurray! My little sister bought me tickets to the Raw taping in Manchester on the 11 November for my 30th birthday.

She said after a few drinks later that she was embarrassed buying them, and even more embarassed that her big brother still likes wrestling at age 30.

Razzamajazz 09-20-2013 06:49 PM

i always wondered what that sound at 2:20 on the vid above was. a turkey?

ROH is giving away their iPPV for free today: http://www.gfl.tv/Events/Fight/Wrest...shonor_XI/2154

Using a new host or something and I guess they hope to prove that it can be reliable.

#1-norm-fan 09-20-2013 07:45 PM

Hmm. Do I or don't I wanna watch ROH for free...

Razzamajazz 09-20-2013 07:56 PM

it's free rasslin

Lock Jaw 09-20-2013 08:18 PM

I got in after maybe 7 minutes. First match going on now. Don't think I can watch this. Their cameras don't match each other and it is really distracting.

Gonna watch a movie instead.

I got it going, too. Not a fan of the audio. Sounds like I'm watching public access.

#1-norm-fan 09-20-2013 08:23 PM

They need to mic the crowd or something. I can hear them cheering but it still feels like there's no energy coming from them.

VSG 09-20-2013 08:27 PM

That's the thing- WWE has such fantastic production that everything else seems inferior.

#1-norm-fan 09-20-2013 08:29 PM

So apparently Mark Briscoe and Adam Cole had a match in the first round of this tournament that was basically a carbon copy of ADR vs Ziggler from Payback.

It really is a problem. But they've got passionate crowds. ECW managed to accentuate that well. Obviously this crowd isn't as big as a Hammerstein Ballroom crowd or anything but it seems like they should find a way to exploit it better.

#1-norm-fan 09-20-2013 08:33 PM

Or maybe they are. Maybe the crowd is smaller than I think. Not the best lighting either.
