Picked up this interesting bbit of trivia: Who had the longest run with the WWF/E title as strictly a heel?
|
Would have bet HHH if that included the WHC... Hmmm.
JBL? |
Is it not Billy Graham or something?
|
Yokozuna. 296 days. Interesting that no heel has made it a year. Billy Graham is second.
|
Thought it was the other way around with Graham as #1 and Yokozuna as #2.
|
Ah shit I totally mixed the numbers. Graham is correct.

Dirt sheets are such crap.
Saying Vince McMahon doesn't like to be questioned when everything from everyone we've ever heard on the subject says Vince doesn't like yes men and respects people who stand up to him and speak their mind. |

The ending to the new Botchamania is probably the best one I've seen in a while. Can't believe these are still going too - up to 237 now.

Interesting story. Two days before Backlund was set to win the title, Graham and Sammartino were having a cage match. Both thought Backlund as champ was a bad idea, so the two were going to screw Backlund by Graham "accidently" knock Bruno out of the cage. Bruno nixed it right before the match started.

According to the front page, Mickie James knocked back $60,000 a year to return to TNA.
I don't blame her, I'm on more than that in US$ as a manager of my company here. That woman deserves much more, surely. |

I'm not sure I see the point in re-quoting VSG there, but hey, lets go with it.
|
I believe Dark One is correcting VSG's post by saying the guy is not a "potential" NXT guy but a "former" NXT guy.
I've never heard of the guy. I cannot confirm nor deny this. |
Oh, I missed that. My bad.
|
Antonio Cesaro's personality seems to be coming through in his alliance with Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger. I continue to have high hopes that he will surprise us and become an interesting character one day, and not just an amazing wrestler.

I've been hearing a lot about the Santino/Slater match, mostly complaints, but I didn't know what it was all about as I can't watch SmackDown anymore.
But I've just searched for the match on YouTube and I have to say personally, I don't know why people were complaining. I found it to be funny and entertaining. |
Probably because of how crazy it was, but still, I was entertained.

Damn, but hey, at least you got knocked out via a match.
It looks like I'm going to get "3 week'd" as it looks like Kaitlyn has randomly vanished off the face of the earth. |

The snake charming was ridiculous, but it had Heath Slater involved, so it gets any pass it needs.

The Shield vs The Rhodes.....build up for tonight!
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/eCBvOK2lDMA?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
I get that people want to see Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs. The Shield, and it would certainly be a mid-card match that carries more weight than most -- but I really want to see dick corporate Triple H book Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust at Battleground, with the winner getting their job back. Cody Rhodes' future potential versus Goldust's desire to get "one more chance."
|
Could end that match so many different ways as well.
