Eric Bischoff created the Elimination Chamber, ffs. Show the man some respect.

Lock Jaw 10-29-2013 09:25 PM

Who leaves all those Kendo Sticks under the ring? Like, tables, ladders, and chairs I guess I can see the "logic" of them being put there for "storage" (even though realistically they are in giant arenas and certainly don't need to use the area under the ring to store extra materials). But Kendo Sticks? Who is the madman who keeps leaving them under the ring? Why does he even bring them?

I want to see a storyline about this one day.

Like have someone debut as a member of the ring crew who is also some martial arts master... who finally snaps because people keep taking and breaking his kendo sticks that he thought stored safely out of the way.

Wow, watched the Breaking Kayfabe Marty Jannetty. Very sad. Marty is completely incoherant and just rambles. Sean Oliver looks exhausted by the end reigning Marty in.

I forgot to post this before Hell in a Cell.

Yes! I've been wanting to see this shoot since seeing the preview for it. I love Striker.

Bad News Gertner 10-30-2013 06:19 AM

Watching it right now. Striker is a great interview.

#1-norm-fan 10-30-2013 06:41 AM

lol. Dreamer's random cameo is oddly awesome.

#1-norm-fan 10-30-2013 06:48 AM

Had no idea that Prince Nana from ROH has been in the business for that long.

I just have to get this off my chest here. Let's see if this makes sense here. So the crowd goes nuts for a guy, like D. Bry, we give him 2 Dusty Finishes and 2 screwjobs in a row. Man, this is fucked up even by their standards and they can't even bury him right. Even when they were burying Jericho and Benoit, they gave them the IC/US titles and were subtle about it. I know some people say "Oh he might get the title at Mania" but you guys don't know until it happens and why the hell should I wait that long?

Malfeitor 10-30-2013 11:38 PM

Matt Striker is awesome. He's even more awesome because he listens to Sage Francis.

Blitz 10-30-2013 11:55 PM

Dunno, that's a pretty serious looking girdle

James Steele 10-31-2013 01:25 AM

She looks thinner in the face. I still hold out hope she'll be back in the WWE. AJ becoming just a super dominant evil bitch heel who finally gets her comeuppance from Kharma would be tremendous and much more interesting than what they originally were going to do with Kharma/Michelle McCool or whoever at the time. I can't believe that was 2 1/2 years ago.

WWE.com has a 25 page article up that "is the definitive account of the most meaningful moments in WWE’s lore".

Love Striker, but I can see where he got heat in the locker room

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-31-2013 03:04 AM

Yeah he actually cared about his job. They just want disposable yes men who say whatever they're told Mackle.

Interview is mostly about the app, but who cares about that.

Cool King 10-31-2013 06:40 AM

That Matt Striker video is pretty good. He seems like a cool guy, but it's pretty mad how many people he knows that have died.

He said "God rest his soul" so many times in that video.

Most of their promos centred around them "shooting" on Vince, Steph and HHH.

Bad News Gertner 10-31-2013 10:18 AM

Yeah I remember that. HHH was front and center and didn't he get hurt vs Sheamus. Kinda made the VKM even more pointless when the only on air "boss" was HHH.

Yeah, I only know of all this second hand, but just the bizarre concept of slinging arrows at another company but then "Ooh no he's hurt himself we'd better be very nice to him" rather than the whole thing being shit.

Innovator 10-31-2013 10:40 AM

I thought about the VKM stuff after watching the Triple H DVD and having Road Dogg and Billy Gunn deep throat the guy.

scatterbrain28 10-31-2013 11:33 AM

I know some people shit on the PG concept here, but not only does it create lame gimmicks, it kills creativity. I don't know how they got through with it during Hulkamania. Maybe it was the marketing with MTV or wrestling being in the closet as a sport, but it took off as family friendly.

For example, at NoC, I'd have Bree Bella give a low blow to D. Bry, resulting in a DQ, following it up with a RKO. Bree reveals that Randy bullying her was all a ruse and they were sleeping together and even were having a baby, and would say they lied about it a couple of weeks later. It affects him emotionally until his teacher HBK comes over and gives a motivational speech to get him going. D. Bry finally wins the title at Battleground. In the weeks leading to NoC, D. Bry found a list of names in Bree's bag, and wonders what they are. Later, he finds out that the list was the names of wrestlers she slept with. D. Bry defends his title against them them one by one, figuring one of them worked with Bree to create the list. After WrestleMania, he finds out that Randy made the list with Bree to make his life hell. D. Bry challenges him to a Best of 5 series for the title.

With the "Client List" storyline, you could also put it in the mid card with Wade Barret and Layla, with Bray Wyatt creating the list and put the IC/US belt on Wade.

loopydate 10-31-2013 01:22 PM

I kind of wish they'd do a Nexus reunion Survivor Series match, but it doesn't work for the stories they're telling right now.

Punk/Bryan/Gabriel/Young/Otunga vs. Ryback/Wyatt/Barrett/Slater/Axel

Rammsteinmad 10-31-2013 01:25 PM

1. That could easily happen EXACTLY as you described it in PG WWE.

2. That is a terrible idea. "Here's the guys I slept with... you have to defend your title against all of them". :shifty:

Rammsteinmad 10-31-2013 01:25 PM

My post was aimed at Scatterbrain, obviously.
