Well, this Pittsburgh game has all the potential to end in a complete slaughter. Surprised they made it the last wild card game. Then again, if Tebow prevails I will deficate in my jeans.

FEED THE BEAST

Triple Naitch 01-08-2012 04:38 PM

Giants D looked tough today, surrendering no points from the offense so far. Should be another great GB/NY game next week and you have to think the G-Men haven't forgotten.

Innovator 01-08-2012 04:40 PM

That's a catch, damn.

#1-norm-fan 01-08-2012 04:41 PM

This is quickly turning into the worst postseason of all time.

Dunno, Ben apparently tweaked his ankle last week, Pouncey is out, Clark is out and Mendenhall and Moore are out. Steelers have only scored 23 total points with Ben at QB since his injury, and 6 of those quarters came against the Browns. Denver doesn't fuck up and they have a shot. They also can't keep making every Tebow pass 15 yards or more. Christ, call some quick slants first. Can't have him handing off the whole 1st quarter and then have his first pass be a 40 yard bomb down the sideline to a WR who can't get any separation

Coughlin hasn't.

Tebow looked really good early on in that Pats game until Brady took his confidence away. If he can be consistent early on like that, we could have quite the game on our hands.

Emperor Smeat 01-08-2012 04:46 PM

Green Bay vs NY Giants should be a good one but I don't think Coughlin can take another frostbite-like face if the temperature is freezing in GB like the last time they met in the playoffs.

Even with all the players Pitt is missing, they still have a very tough and physical defense which could be more than Tebow can handle considering he's struggled really badly ever since the Pats game. Still hope for the upset by Denver so that the Texans go to New England but the Pats took their chance of having Pitt with the #1 seed.

I'm hoping he can. But for a guy who's essentially a rookie QB who's struggled the last few weeks, is starting his first playoff game AND has to deal with the whole Brady Quinn situation, my outlook is grim. His confidence was clearly shattered last week and none of this other shit is going to help :-\

Triple Naitch 01-08-2012 04:48 PM

Don't think Coughlin's face has become unfrozen since.

Evil Vito 01-08-2012 04:53 PM

I already said that anything past making the playoffs is gravy - a game in the second round against 15-1 Green Bay is no different. The NFC Title game is gonna be awesome no matter who makes it.

Nark Order 01-08-2012 04:55 PM

Yeah. GB/NO, SF/GB, NO/NY, SF/NY would all be incredible games.

Boomer 01-08-2012 04:57 PM

Congrats to Roddy White for leading the league in drops in the regular season and the playoffs.

Innovator 01-08-2012 04:57 PM

Osi!

Innovator 01-08-2012 05:00 PM

Bring it GB.

#1-norm-fan 01-08-2012 05:04 PM

lol. That last 4th and 1 by ATL was ridiculous. Empty backfield and then a QB draw? Really? Really?

#1-norm-fan 01-08-2012 05:41 PM

Holy shit @ the ball landing right on the 20. That was weird.

#1-norm-fan 01-08-2012 05:45 PM

Yeah, this is gonna end as the shittiest wild card weekend ever..

Rock Bottom 01-08-2012 05:51 PM

predict rematch of last yr

want ravens tho

Corndad 01-08-2012 05:52 PM

Yea Wild Card games have been eh. But the Divisional Round is setting up to be really good.

Hulk smash?

FearedSanctity 01-08-2012 05:55 PM

The return of the Run/Run/3rd and long pass attempt, yaaaay predictability

#1-norm-fan 01-08-2012 05:55 PM

Keep it up like this. I don't dislike Denver, I just wanna see Brady Quinn come in and the team try to remember how to run a conventional offense.

#1-norm-fan 01-08-2012 05:56 PM

Better yet, Brady Quinn come in and make an improbable comeback.

FearedSanctity 01-08-2012 05:57 PM

Everyone seems to forget Brady Quinn sucked

#1-norm-fan 01-08-2012 05:58 PM

Which would make an improbable comeback all that much funnier.

FearedSanctity 01-08-2012 05:59 PM

If I have to pick between sucky QBs, I'll take the one that made a below average run game the best in the league

FearedSanctity 01-08-2012 06:00 PM

Gonna go out on a limb here and guess this drive goes pass attempt/run/run/punt

FearedSanctity 01-08-2012 06:00 PM

Nope, Fox shocks the world and goes with a run first

#1-norm-fan 01-08-2012 06:01 PM

Well, you don't get to pick.

#1-norm-fan 01-08-2012 06:03 PM

Next time they should try punt, run, pass... ... ... FG.

FearedSanctity 01-08-2012 06:04 PM

I await the inevitable three straight runs and a punt

Triple Naitch 01-08-2012 06:06 PM

Offense looking great so far. :n:

#1-norm-fan 01-08-2012 06:07 PM

How about some trick plays. It's the playoff. Don't hold back! I wanna see a fleaflicker... or an HB pass... or the annexation of Puerto Rico.

Corndad 01-08-2012 06:12 PM

This has what has worried me about Steelers Off last few weeks. They are settling for a lot of FGs early. They might get away with it today but won't if they play Pats next week.

FearedSanctity 01-08-2012 06:13 PM

3rd down stop

Doing any of those successfully requires the WRs to actually get separation and get open. Simms has now covered 4 Bronco games in a row and he points this out constantly every week

Evil Vito 01-08-2012 06:18 PM

Broncos might get shut out.

FearedSanctity 01-08-2012 06:20 PM

Quinn throwing on the sideline
