Shawn Michaels put 85,000+ asses in seats for WrestleMania 23. Bret headlined WrestleMania IX.

Kind of funny that the guy who was actually involved in the incident (Michaels) is welcoming the return, while the guy who really had nothing to do with it (HHH) is against it. Seems kind of backwards, but good for Shawn if he's honestly willing to bury the hatchet. I just don't know why Hunter would be against it, other than the fact that Hart hurt his feelings or something.

Ol Dirty Dastard 01-04-2010 04:49 PM

Cuz Bret thinks he's a jackass and Hunter's ego's as big as his nose.

To counteract your point James Steele. Bret also filled up Wembley Stadium for the IC championship against Bulldog.

Stop being so one sided.

In all seriousness, I think Shawn knows he was a dick back then and he deserved some of the things he got. If you watch the documentary WWE made for him in 07 you can see how much he has grown as a person and really came back from one foot in the grave and his remorse towards his coworkers, family, etc.

Triple H takes it personally because of his passion for the business, and Triple H thinks Bret was trying to hurt the business.

:y:

Though, if Triple H would wake the fuck up for once, he'd see how good for the business Bret's return actually is. Bret coming back is a step in the right direction.

I have been hyped about this but today I am just ready to explode. I don't know what the hell is going to happen. I should have driven to Orlando this weekend and sit around at the airport and see how many wrestlers I can spot for TNA but that would mean I have no life.
I am very curious what direction both shows will take. As cliche as it sounds, I think it is going to be something "big."

Luigi, today is my off day, and if I lived in Orlando, I would've done this with you. I haven't been this fucking stoked for a Monday in God knows how long.

I'll be tuning into Impact for the first hour to kill time before Raw, and DVR the rest to be watched later. I'm hoping for a stellar wrestling show from TNA. They have to dance with what brung em, and their actual in-ring product is miles ahead of WWE.

WOW, this feel like 13 years in the making, I remember seeing the screwjob with two tickets to the next night's ottawa RAW IS WAR in my wallet, lone time coming for me, I'm suprised I still care.

not to mention the TNA AND WWE, with people showing up backstage at the different shows, not to mention free agents who are worth a damn.

I hope they give DH Smith A big push.

Do you think there is a chance of any other harts showing up (on either show), rather it's teddy, bruce, jim the anvil etc...

I feel kind of silly trying to rebut something that was posted over 2 years ago... but fuck it, I'm not the one who bumped this thread.

You give Bret credit for filling up Wembley Stadium and not the British guy he was going up against?
