Ray Edwards to the Falcons has got me pretty excited. The telegraphed the move after they didn't pick a DE in the draft until the 7th round, but it seems we got him for a decent price. (5 years/30 mil)

Apparently the Jets don't have a plan B in case Asomugha doesn't sign with them. I think Dallas is the only big name team going after him in terms of willing to spend a lot to get him.
The team is asking everyone except Holmes to wait until they get Asomugha before even considering other players and most would need to take a big pay cut to stay. They are not even working out deals with other free agents until the Asomugha situation has an answer.
