Droford 05-05-2011 02:27 AM

I guess the Angels arent coming back to boston since the Curfew can be waived in the AL if the road team wont be making another trip back to the home city.

MVP 05-05-2011 03:20 PM

John Lackey sucks

Emperor Smeat 05-05-2011 03:56 PM

This must be the 3rd time the Red Sox has been a game near .500 only to lose the next couple of games in a row to repeat the process again.

weather vane 05-05-2011 04:11 PM

pissing me off

MVP 05-06-2011 11:47 AM

I'll be at Fenway tonight and Wakefield is starting. I should bring my glove to try to catch all the homerun balls the Twins hit.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-06-2011 02:18 PM

Happy 80th birthday, Willie Mays.

Greatest all around player of all time? Yeah, I think so.

Aguakate 05-06-2011 02:42 PM

He and Barry Bonds.

DaveWadding 05-06-2011 03:39 PM

Fucking love Willie.

Aguakate 05-07-2011 02:43 AM

...Cliff Lee strikes out 16, yet still gave up 3 runs and lost.

RP 05-07-2011 01:12 PM

Casey Coleman time woohooo!

RP 05-07-2011 01:14 PM

Castro and Soriano sitting today. This could be bad.

RP 05-07-2011 01:20 PM

Good start for Casey

Evil Vito 05-07-2011 01:49 PM

Imagine if Andre Ethier were to get to within one game of tying the hitting streak, grounds out in his first at-bat, and then gets intentionally walked the rest of the game.

Aguakate 05-07-2011 02:00 PM

It's crazy how Ethier is at 30, which is no easy feat, yet is SO far away from the record (56)...

...I don't think that record will ever be tied or broken.

RP 05-07-2011 02:19 PM

Fuck yah Blake Dewitt!

RP 05-07-2011 02:27 PM

Casey Colman has put together a great start.

RP 05-07-2011 03:08 PM

The Cubs are just hopeless every year

It's sad, I made fun of the guy when he came up to bat and he knocked one over the green monster. Last time I do that. :$

That would be on the same level of trying to do a bunt on purpose during a no hitter or perfect game late in the game.

On one hand, it is a good and normal part of game strategy but would also be seen as sort of a "dick" move to pull off by the other team.

Evil Vito 05-07-2011 06:43 PM

Justin Verlander with the no-hitter. Only 1 walk.

Splaya 05-07-2011 06:44 PM

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS VERLANDER NO HITTER

Yeah. Seems like a stupid reason to get your best hitter plunked in the dome the next game though.

Evil Vito 05-07-2011 10:25 PM

No matter. Mets ended the streak anyway.

Aguakate 05-07-2011 10:46 PM

Again, that hitting streak record of 56 games will never be tied or broken.

Skippord 05-08-2011 03:04 AM

3 walk off losses in a row for the Rockies, and I am going to go ahead and shoot myself in the face.

Evil Vito 05-08-2011 06:13 PM

David Wright continues to be horribly unclutch.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-08-2011 06:47 PM

So Jeter broke out a bit today. 4 for 6 with two homers. Raised his average 20 points and raised his OPS almost 100.
