Lots of great tips for building on that reddit site.

I found out that two of the lasses at work are Fallout and Edler Scrolls fans; their gaming nerdiness made them hot to me, which generally they are not.
Anyways, I've started upgrading my comp for this bad boy (though partly because my graphics card is dying). I ordered a new graphics card (nothing special better than the one I have now), and over the next month I'll get a new PSU, 16gb of RAM, and I intend to buy an i7 processor. It should keep my comp going for 3 more years, at least... until a new Elder Scrolls game appears, and I buy a new comp entirely. |
AMD cards are more or less for when you are on a budget. On some of the midrange cards you can definitely find a cheaper AMD card that outperforms a similar tier nVidia card. However in terms of pure power, if you've got the cash, nVidia is king.

Not really looking for a fullscale upgrade, I don't mind playing on low settings for now, just wanna get the framerate a bit more consistent.
Most of my gaming (besides FO4 right now) is Diablo III and Dota 2 and I've not had any issues with those. Don't foresee myself needing a massive overhaul. Probably just wanna grab a ~$150 GPU and that should be sufficient |

Well considering my current card is "well below" the recommended (and hell even minimum) requirements and I certainly consider my game playable in its current state, I very much doubt I need to break the bank

It's a shame you can't shove more RAM in a card. |
I was more banking on a good deal on Black Friday, usually lots of good sales

Didn't take long for a company to go after Bethesda and/or modders because of the game.
MLB is upset that someone made a David Ortiz mod without their approval and are trying to get it removed as quick as possible. http://www.destructoid.com/major-lea...d-320747.phtml |
Jesus christ fuck off
Would be cool if Ortiz himself said it was cool to use his likeness and told the MLB to suck it |
Internet Fail 101'd myself by reading the comments section
really annoying how gamers pretty much "lol sports" any time anything happens, fuck off just because you're fat and have no motor skills |

I would recommend this instead if you don't want to hunt used deals: http://gpushack.com/collections/all-...9-280x-vapor-x
There's a further $10 discount if you get a pic of a console: http://gpushack.com/pages/peasant-conversion-tool |

Does fast traveling with power armor use up the fusion core? I've upgraded it enough, along with my weapons, that I'm ready to take down that Swan mother fucker.

First bad bug I've encountered.
When I go to meet Ness at the crash site she will never speak to me. I can talk but she never responds. |
There is a magazine that adds new objects for each issue you find. Wiki lists where you can find them.

Is there a way to tell where a companion is if you can't find them? Fallout: New Vegas had them on the map.
